My math teacher in secondary school made me hated that subject. "master" hated me because I don't tolerate the nonsense he does with other female students. Whenever it was math period, I would leave the class to the toilet or library. No one understood my pain because he always had a way to defend himself... I wouldn't allow him drag the strap of my bra or even touch me.

Mr Chika, the only teacher that flogged me because he wanted to know why other teachers don't flog me. He flogged me that day only because I got 8/10 in biology instead of 10/10. And spared those that scored lower grades. He would tell me if I jazzed other teachers, it won't work on him. He beat crase from my body that day. Mr Chika, I never still forgive you sha.



Well, even though I had wanted to be a lawyer as my childhood dream. I still would if I had the chance. I opted for Education, primary education precisely... My passion for teaching children developed. Most of my beautiful moments are the time I spent teaching children. Teaching is fun for me. Though gets tiring sometimes and frustrating because of the exploitation by private school owners. I've always hoped to have my school someday, and I still believe in that dream.


Mrs Bagudo, my favorite lecturer in school. She was indeed a mother of all. I broke the record of getting an A in her course; everyone believed no one could pass her course because her questions were always too technical. Me na, I became talk of the department. When I say it takes an extremely patient woman to marry a military man, it sounds like I don't know what I'm saying. Last month my friend who was having symptoms of covid19, went to the nearest testing center where they collected his blood sample and contact details. They told him to go home, that they will contact him once his test result is out. He waited for one week, two weeks, they didn't contact him. He had to rely on self medication to treat himself and got better a week plus.

One month later (early June) when he thought everything was over (the corona virus scare), he received a call from NCDC Edo state that he is covid19 positive according to the result of his test. They arranged the time and day they will be coming to pick him up. He was told that if he should flee he would be place on police wanted list.

When they came to pick him up, no matter how many times he told them he no longer has symptoms of covid19 and was already OK, they did not listen him. They bundled him to the isolation center. My friend is currently at the isolation center as I type, despite the fact that he had long recovered from whatever illness he had.

How did he do it?. I've been managing my symptoms for some days now. I loss my sense of smell and taste and some other symptoms. Can you share how he managed it at home?
