Surah Najm is a Makkan Surah and there is no idol mentioned in it, except to ridicle the idolatry of the arabs! 26:197: Is it not a sign to them that the learned scholars (like 'Abdullah bin Salam who embraced Islam) of the Children of Israel knew it (as true)?
26:198: And if We had revealed it (this Quran) unto any of the non-Arabs,
26:199: And he had recited it unto them, they would not have believed in it.
26:200: Thus have We caused it (the denial of the Quran) to enter the hearts of the Mujrimun (criminals, polytheists, sinners, etc.).
26:201: They will not believe in it until they see the painful torment;
26:202: It shall come to them of a sudden, while they perceive it not;
26:203: Then they will say: "Can we be respited?"
26:204: Would they then wish for Our Torment to be hastened on?
26:205: Tell Me, if We do let them enjoy for years,



If the Quran was revealed on another one from the people known as Children of Israel, the people who are stock with believing Musa and disbelieving Isa, along with those who get stuck with believing Isa as more than a human prophet, even though he had a mother and he and his mother exhibited all the attributes of humans, they would have disbelieved this new man as they have disbelieved Muhammad (AS), out of jealousy, ignorance and outright dishonesty and pure disbelief!

To all and indeed at Atheist: Allah knows that man will fall from His guidance, before He created Adam, if you read Verse 30 of Surah Baqarah onward.

2:30: And (remember) when your Lord said to the angels: "Verily, I am going to place (mankind) generations after generations on earth." They said: "Will You place therein those who will make mischief therein and shed blood, - while we glorify You with praises and thanks (Exalted be You above all that they associate with You as partners) and sanctify You." He (Allah) said: "I know that which you do not know."

How do you Godson2009 a bigtime understand or teach a person whose heart is in proper aqeedah, a belief that is sound, while you confuse 3 for 1? Iman is more important than Ilm, because a proper Iman leads to Paradise, while a proper Ilm that is not implemented leads to hellfire!

Verse 105 of the same chapter, Kahf says that the disbelievers will not enter paradise, and destined for hellfire. And verse 106 follows 105 with explanation why the disbelievers will be condemned into hellfire: The make jest of our Messengers. Muhammad (AS) is the last of them, and you people are making jest of him.

Can a Book that does call Haruun a prophet be a plagiarisation of the one that does not know him to be a prophet? No!

I was actually researching the allegation agaist the messenger (as) by the disbelievers, as represenetd by the likes of Noetic15 and now Godson2009, when the news was was saying that NASA is on a mission to blast an explosive (i dont wanna say bomb) at the moon, creating at least a 60 ft wide crater, with some significant depth!

Then it dawned on me; just maybe the observation camera will record from the incience, the evidence to support a past cracking of the moon, not only on the surface, but deep enough that the scientists will postulate that it might have sheared all around, too deep that it may have broken up into 2 pieces. I want to preclude the disbelievers in pointing out, before they may deny it, that if the complete story is ever told, the science community will find the deep crack more than a surface or topical fracture! Afterall, it has been postulated that the otherside that is never hit by the sun is so cold that it may have significant amount of Ice, a possible reason that it may be postulated that it is sticking together regardless of the deep crack!

Though, I am not a one that will give this excuse when it cracked by the hand of Muhammad (as) a means permitted by Allah (SWT) to proof his prophethood, but this is a good scientific argument!

Is there room for extremists in today's world?

Abuzoloa's remarks on this forum are very inflammatory, and just like in the wider world where extremist views by Muslims are hardly ever challenged by other Muslims, many sane Muslims on this forum just keep quiet while miscreants like Abuzola make Islam look like what many Western media houses portray it as.

I commend you. However, that is not enough! More sane Muslims need to stop keeping quiet and should let the likes of Abuzola know that extremism only breeds extremism!

The portraying of Islam in the media does not mean diiddley to me. Truth is always one. I have been stopped by just being a black man in white neighborhood before and its no surprise that a muslim is stopped because the hoders of media and authority puppet masters are not muslims, but enemies of islam! Every religion, overtime, has gone through some change or evolution, including Islam! There were practices that were deemed normal 500 years ago among Muslims, that no Muslim will admit to today. An example is slavery/slave-trade.

This evolution/change will continue to take its course.

Doers of evil are those who are proven to have been involved in Adultery, not the unmarried fornicators, which the Mosaic laws kill. Murderers of innocent lives and even when they do not allow the rule of law to prevail are doers of evil. Apostates who are up in arms against you, wishing to kill you and deters you to worship your Lord are doers of evil! Do they deserve to be killed? All of them, when proven as above, deserve to die, or they will let evil doings become the norm on the earth or they kill you for your not joing their ranks! Look, open sexual orgies used to be unacceptable, but now it is the norm in many societies; why? And at your age, a successful University professor is only girlfriending when you should be wife(ing)!

You are the one that spent hours making strong points against Abuzola's position on this. Are you now changing sides, discarding all your arguments and supporting Abuzola because I've pointed out his folly? Can you take a position and stick to it, instead of moving from corner to corner?

My position is well defined. I o not have a position except that I can trace it to Muhammad (AS). The Quran says the apostates who "pick up arms against you" needs to be killed, because in war, it is kill or be killed! If this position is not satisfactory to you, ask the americans, or the afghanis or those who have experienced wars! The enemy who picks up arems against you have one simple goal, snurf the life out of you! And if you have a chance to preserve your life, and you allow him to kill you, its yor fault and you deserve hell fire!

The US later established a base in Saudi-Arabia. Allowing the US to "protect" Saudi-Arabia was one of the reasons Osama gave for his qualms with the House of Saud.

If every Christian had the kind of religio-static mindset that some Muslims who champion killing people at the blink of an eye, Saudi-Arabia and Kuwait, along with Iraq and Palestine would all be Western military bases.

It is not adhering to a static view of Christianity that has prevented this, but applying concepts like:
1. Sovereignty
2. Rule of law (local and international)
3. Due process
4. Justice

I have news for you; America is not a Christian country, though the majority will check Christianity, though its nothing they belief in! Shouldn't they have gone to Saudi, instead of worse than stone age mentality that madethem under George Bush go to Afghanistan and then Iraq? You said that you are a University Lecturer, please bring matriculated thinking to the table! What role did Afghanistan play, except that it is a weak and somewhat remote out post that the US and the coallision of the willing can do target practice at? And no people Killed in Afghanistan and or Iraq? Are you serious?
