I think this kind of yard stick should be used for our politicians, you mess up, you get away ashamed! They will all sit tight instead of national honourary award for someone who has a money laundering case in court. |
AKURE kingmakers Wednesday selected Prince Adebiyi Adegboye Adesida as the Deji. The stool became vacant following the dethronement of Oba Adepoju Adesina, after a brawl with his wife, Olori Bolanle. Seven of the nine kingmakers voted for Prince Adesida, making him the favourite candidate for the throne. Adesida is a graduate of the Institute of Science and Technology, London. He was a Chief Science Technologist at the University of Ibadan (UI), Oyo State. He was for eight years the Director of School of Science Technology, Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), Ondo State. The 60-year-old prince was among the first set of students of Aquinas College, Akure. The kingmakers will forward Adesida’s name to the government for approval. Prince Adesida is a graduate of the University of Ibadan where he red Agricultural Economics. He has a Masters in Agric Business and Management. He is into construction and importation. http://thenationonlineng.net/web3/news/9387.html At last, they didnt reinstate the former king, good one and lesson for others. |
Rubbish! |
Kennyblues:They would have thought of that and plan it along various options. There may be a signal to indicate that the bus needs to wait cos a car is still underneath or somehow, just leave it to them. China leads in technology, I bet it. |
If Ojukwu actually said this, then I think he has outlived his usefulness. He should either go into his house and lie down or simply sht-up and wait for death. Nigeria is at a transition point. We are trying to progress and not retrogress. We as Ndi Igbos had better stop letting these old men make our choices for us. Odimegwu Ojukwu is not the voice of Ndi Igbos, we will make our choice based on the most worthy candidate.
Gbam! You sound more reasonable than others. yiboboy: If your people read this, they will finish you. |
I call this a good news cos it unveils the hidden scene which is used to lure people to Dubai and some countries abroad. |
Theblessed:Your piece is too long, you can always summarise them. Did you read between the lines at all? Your type of talk is heard in every 9 out of 10 pple on the street but their way of life is an irony of the word in their mouth. They call devil at every ignorance, mistake and little faults that MATURITY and WISDOM can attend to, unknowingly, they glorify the devil than they glorify God cos of the number of time they call his name daily. Is there a family without an issue? NO!! So if we call devil, devil all the time in our families and our daily routine, when do we call on GOD? Anyway, since you know what they lack, go on your knees and do the fasting and prayer, you dont need to tell us about it afterall you are praying to God and not to man and the blessing will be yours. But it is good to let you know that empty barrels make the loudest noise, remember the Pharisees and the Sadducee. |
seyibrown:Sure an insider is involved and atimes the uniforms dropped or given out by true coppers after use are used by criminals in order to avoid being suspected, instead the criminal will be respected. Very annoying! Later this ones too will say Naija is bad as if they are not contributing far enough. We all go to church, pray in mosques but yet we get worse by the day. |
They dont engage in a thorough research to produce even if it is 1 movie a year, instead they rush into quantity and competition. The piracy stuff is not helping them too. |
Neptunz:Well, I dont see her as a hypocrite and you wont see her as though if you know the rudiments of her new office - ohun ta ba fun sinu fere lo ma fun jade, meaning what you blow into a trumpet is what will sound out, this is what her new office stand for. Actually, I used to like her so much until she took this new office (and I knew her voice will change the moment she accepted the office cos there are hidden objectives to the position) and if you look at the last days of Yar Adua, you will see that her real person was revealed, she could no longer keep the padlock that was used to shut her mouth. Bye. |
Ujujoan:Hmmn madam Uju! I am not supporting any but becareful what somebody said that another person said and told another person who told you. ![]() |
Neptunz:I guess I am and probably she has paid me for it. But why are you asking this question on behalf of her nephew, are you a spokesman to him too? If you read my replies from the first page till now, you will see that I am neutral to any ones side but made it known that it is a family matter, but people who cant differenciate btw public service (which matters to citizens) and family relationship (which should be a private thing) will always make me reply. I mean, read Engr nephew's write-up, you will summarise what is paining him |
Theblessed:There is nothing spiritual about this, its only a matter of MATURITY. Nigerians are quick to spiritualise little things that can be done with common sense but we are not spiritual when it comes to corruption, eye service and dropping dirt on the streets. whiteroses:I wonder oo |
Ujujoan:Have you heard Dora's part of the story concerning relationship with her family before your conclusion? People will say this and even worse about you no matter how try for them especially when you rise to become a public figure. Dont be surprised what Dora will list to have done for them if she tries to reply based on relaltionship but people (Africans) are never satisfied. |
Ujujoan:Were you there? Are they the first family members to pray for their aunty in this world or country, dont you pray for your relatives too or why dont you bring them to the level of public disgrace? What we are saying is that this things should be kept within the family.
I knew the real Dora was gonna come out soon. The NAFDAC show was nothing but drama. All Nigerians are d same, greedy and selfish
You knew the real Dora was going to come out and now you have seen it abi? You knew her NAFDAC effort was a drama cos you wrote the scripts and you were a character in the whole scene. Were you a victim of her record in NAFDAC? Why dont some of you use your head when talking other than your leg? NAFDAC or no NAFDAC, read the post again and see what it is all about. |
@ poster Please I beg you dont start jumping from one concubine to the other, this is the best thing to do. Call her to a serious discussion because communication is the ONLY link between any form of relationship. Tell her your mind and make her see the picture you posted (how you see diff girls and just want to come to home for a cover), tell her the dangers of denying you. Tell her whether she likes it or not, the truth is that such is a man's nature! Also, you may need to educate her on the benefits, it keeps relationship together, burns stress, keeps couple healthier and ageless (read on yahoo news last week) etc (browse with her for some points). Women love to be admired and cared for, when was the last time you took her out like you used to when you were still dating (dont tell me you are always busy remember you will come back home after all your busy-ness), when was the last time you told her she is beautiful or like the way she dresses, when was the last time you just sent her a text from work saying beautiful things, or a text just as you left for work or coming home, or just play with her body and leave her etc, there is no woman you admire and say beautiful things to that would give way but men are not patient enough to do that. Lastly, ask why she refuses, probably she is not satisfied or doesnt like it and does not want to complain, you can even but some books and films to help. I hope she changes. |
deb:You are right. Engr nephew keeps repeating how they fasted and prayed and how she never did anything for them. You call someone Aunty repeatedly and you talk to her in public like this? It would have been better to call her Baby Girl! People think when a relative ascend to a high position they must have an unnecessary portion, mschew. However you decide to rubbish your family in public that is your headache, all we want is good record like she did as the ex-DG of NAFDAC, afterall, we saw the ConSoludotion era and how Sanusi came to expose him. Shamless people. |
browncocos:Gbam!! its even nephew Ujujoan:lol , just as the aide to soludo wrote the first one.desgiezd:Two wrongs dont make a right, if Dora was wrong for publicizing it, is he right for publicizing it too? Rubbish, cant they behave matured and civilised? I'm sure they will pass this hatred to their children and generation to generation. |
5p1naz:lol How can someone say he - this Boko Haram, is a good player, pple were already abusing him as we watched before he got the red card, I never knew he had choices. |
This issue of amala this days. But I personally believe some people have started mixing some things in the yam flour due to high demand of the food which results to this or poor processing due to high demand, you know Nigerians now. This food poisoning is also indirectly advertising wheat and garri |
Hmmnn, higher demand of dollar than naira |
Where is your link poster or was it culled from a print? |
gogo123: desgiezd:I wonder where you both got this rubbish from. The woman herself sued the oba for saying he is not sure of the paternity of her children, in the suit she requested a DNA test and some millions if the DNA proves him to be father to the children. desgiezd: Yes, you are right and I wish they wont re-instate him. |
Based on the topic, honestly the first time I heard the first lady speak, everyone around me looked at each other and shook their heads. It is not only about her grammar even her voice is so wide and husky. She needs to go for speech training and grammar. For those saying english is not our local language, I agree but with her position - First Lady, it would have been better to speak perfectly in her local language like the chinese, indians etc and have a very good interpreter than speak like she does before the international community. |
What on earth can an average Nigerian go and get in Sudan? Anyway, they got what they wanted. |
from: Jakumo on Yesterday at 06:59:24 AM Ha ha Now this is really amusing.from: CGKing on Yesterday at 08:11:18 PM I believe u ma, I know your late husband voted for unity, and he proved it, by trying to unite all nigerians with their forefathers.I didnt want to reply but Jakumo and CGKing made my day, couldnt stop laughing in the office ![]() |
Poster, where is your link? This is awful!! ![]() If this is real, then the woman was used by drug barons thinking that security officials will overlook and won't check her. And I am sure the woman isn't totally ok and doesn't know the implication of what was being packed on her, she might even think they were dressing her up. |
twinkiesta:Of course you wil. It adds a great taste to the soup. |
I Prefer male boss although I am going to be a female boss too. whiteroses: ![]() |
You sound so weak man! This lady has seen your weakness and she is using it against you. Go your way and start your life afresh but if you insist on begging her and you two get married, that thing you call love in your heart will turn to hatred now. Move on with your life, you have alot ahead of you. |
