Students are tired for goodness' sake. |
I think being photogenic should not be the question but looking good all the time because the image in the picture is like a mirror, there is nothing you do about it. Except in cases whereby the photographer didn't snap well but if this happens repeatedly from different paparazzis, then work on yourself first and then take pictures. |
As love ever been blind? Only that Love as never taken time to study enough. |
@poster All you need is the interest and passion for the language, then take a step. As you learn, speak and do not mind if people make jest of wrong pronunciation or intonation. Before you know it, you are there. |
Diamond Bank is wonderful, I don't have any prob with them at all. No nonsense charges or what so ever. GTBank is also doing wonderfully. Does anyone know about Access Bank, I mean what are their charges and operations like? |
Funny. Let them name it Idiotnigaz |
When I read this early this morning, I didn't know how best to laugh to this kind of joke in the National Comedy Assembly. Whether to sit and laugh, stand and laugh and laugh, jump or I just couldn't help myself. Do these set of IDIOTS think they are fooling anyone at all or what do they take us for? Useless people want to go on hunger strike after they have eaten and stolen for the day. God punish their big tummies. |
Well, whether the text is real or fake, have it in mind that NO PRAYER IS WASTE. You have it stored/saved for the sake of a loved one in the nearest future. At least you prayed and the hours/mins you deprived yourself of sleep cannot be compared with the hours of sleepless nights or the trauma of loosing someone. For those who think telecom companies made money with it, I say, its better oo cos what you spend to inform people that a loved one just kicked the bucket is far off compared to that. Anyway, the msg achieved its goal cos we have always been informed in the church to pray at night but we all give excuses, so, the message wasn't a bad one REAL or FAKE. |
javalove:I hiss strongly in Islam ![]() Imagine this ignorant? Who told you that Christians don't pray or who told you we are being forced to do so? From your post alone, I have concluded you are not a devoted muslim cos devoted ones (ask your Alfas and Imams) go beyond the 5 times a day prayer and that is why they can see things before it happens and know more than you do. The information is just to tell you that the pastor saw something and want people to go beyond their normal praying time in praying for or against a coming occurrence. |
spikedcylinder:They said vitiligo |
Take it or leave it! Micheal, you are definitely irreplaceable. A Legend. A Celebrity. An Icon. An independent man whos' foot print crosses the world. |
This is the first and only single man (no partnering ) with the highest fame in the world. It is really painful. R.I.P |
I have nothing against being a housewife but I can not see myself in that position. I am too Ambitious and Independent. I like the idea of going out there and making my own money. I think a husband will better respect a wife that makes her own money than a woman that relies on him for everything. I do not care If I marry a billionaire, I will never be a housewife. I will be out there doing what "real women" do.@Seant21 What else will I say? This is ME! The only thing I am planning is to make my job more flexible so that I can have more control over my time than now. |
@skyone sorry O, tomentor in chief who is scared of your DADDY G.O or you think is everyone that adores him the way you do? God cant be manipulated sorry about that, so you mean people who adore Daddy G.O wont go through problems I pity you
Go thru skyone's posts so far, you will understand his points, he didn't say the boldened statement. |
kalmebad:Stop spamming! you have it before. Don't be deceived that you receive some naira by your number of posts because here is nairaland ![]() Is that the only church on that express road? Is he the only one that does prog monthly? Did he just get there or how long has the church been there and you want it moved today? Is it a crime for people to worship where they like? Is that the only crowded road in Lagos? Is there a church on third mainland brigde, Oshodi road, Ikorodu rd and other areas and that is I leave at 5am and come late in the night? Does the church make effort (with traffic/transport officials) to ease traffic on those days? PONDER OVER THESE and reply but remember to allow your brain send enough signal to your fingers before you punch your keyboard. ![]() |

MrCrackles: Oga, you see now? Oyinbo don scatter your head. It is AMOEBA, not |
@tkb417 I went thru all your responses and I say NOTHING, I mean there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to be added. If people still question the existence of GOD, question if JESUS trully died for them or even some things about MOHAMMED, then we should expect them to do the same for their fellow human beings. But when these people die, they will tell you how much they miss them. I am not defending anyone but the truth remains that even if you make your parents your Legend people will still ask why they deserve it. I don't like to pull people down cos I know I am not perfect, I make mistakes, I do the little I can and people won't still appreciate it and I have not contributed enough to the society myself. As for Jakumo, leave him with his probs for two reasons: 1. Whatsoever you sow, you will reap. 2. He has the same reward as those who laughed at Elisha the other day and those whom the earth swallow for Moses' sake. 3. He is not referring to the man in question cos he has never gotten his name right. |
And you speak what thought? The thought of your stomach? What makes Adeboye a legend in Nigeria? At least I am persuaded to assume that more than half of the Nigerian population (I mean muslims) may not have voted him as their legend. Then for the rest half, what has he done for them? How many charities has he established? How many scholarships has he given? Was he not mentioned in custom duties evasion bothering on corruption? Lemme hear word ojare.@ Afakwu At the boldened part, what ever your right hand do, don't let it be known to your left hand. Do you expect him to start by listing his personal motherless babies home, charity home, annual students on scholarship, other welfare infos or the free for all maternity centre at Ebute Meta? When talking or criticizing, try get facts. Secondly, majority of those who say bla bla bla about others do not even have 1% of sympathy or show 0.5% love to people on there way up or down not to talk of their suffering family members or relatives. Anyway, congratulations to them all. |
I poster I agree with your points partly but will make it clear that the ability to give order, authourity, commands as well as show results within a limited period of time does not really depend on the uniform or knowledge imparted into you, it depends on capacity of the type of traits you carry within. Some people are very authouritative from birth. What of the case of FASHOLA, he is not a military man but does what a military man may never do, he has the vision, leading ability and shows results. In most cases when people act to the order of a military man, it is not cos he can shout louder than others but they respect the uniform on him and the fact that he can do and undo and no one questions him. |
So he too knows we have bad roads and he can't help by fixing just one. He is leaving the bad roads for us to keep plying while he escapes thru the air. No wahala, God help us. |

georgecso:And should this be the reason for doing something that claims tens and hundreds of innocent lives? Are they the only ones living and suffering in Nigeria? If you know the gravity of what they are doing, you will not even support and justify their moves. |
maxtop:Now you are talking ![]() |
For a guy to post that he has no intergrity, but a desperate woman to go after such a man thinking she would be incharge she's only deceiving herself cos there is always a richer lady out there with open arms ready to take the man from you after all he is a gold digger. But sponsoring or co-sponsoring your wedding with a serious minded man who is trying to gather things together while you the lady has already does not sound like a bad idea. LADIES Do not be of the school of thot that ladies can't help their men financially
Dear, it is not even integrity, it means he is not MATURED yet. Because both have to be matured in all aspect of life and the man should be able to have a say FINANCIALLY (no particular measurement for finances). Come to think of it, the guy in the advert pasted by the poster is only looking for a desperate lady to fool, he is just 28 years and desperate for a wife. If he doesn't have a job, let him be patient while he gets something substantial or manageable doing. Any lady who makes this mistake will leave her life in regrets cos after the wedding she continues with the task! |
BP:Totally true!! ![]() No matter how religious or sainty he may be, his ego will surely rise the moment he is up to his feet. Its better to support rather than be the man at foundation level. Little did you know that one of the qualities that make him my man is the topic.emmydee:It is no news for a man to handle it cos it is his responsibility and whether the marriage stays or not should be between them. What percentage of the marriage are happy today compared to the ones that failed as a result of the woman taking up bills at a foundation level? |
MTN yesterday announced that it has secured a new numbering range with the prefix 0813. This will be available in the market from Monday, June 15, 2009. Since it commenced commercial operations in August 2001, it has been known to offer a wide range of telecommunications services that have been consistently delivered via the existing numbering ranges 0803, 0806, 0703 and 0706. http://nigerianbulletin.com/summary-plus-news/mtn-introduces-new-number-0813-the-guardian/12062009/7052/ Why new number when the former ones are still available in town infact, you can still get the 0803. I like their concepts and initiative anyway but they should try improve in their services. |
This is really sad ![]() I am really bothered about these: Is the life a man equivalent to any amount of money not to talk of tax? Must the boy or his family be the one to pay for the state government's misconduct? How can the nurses be so heartless that they forcefully remove an oxygen from a surviving child? If they are going on strike for their right and will not attend to old or new patients , must they deliberately kill the ones on ground? Ah May God comfort the family of the boy and I pray that his soul find rest. |
chaircover: oyb:I have had this question in mind for a while now cos I am planning my wedding soon. I like the responses of the people in quote and if I am your wife, I will change if you apply the above. Then talk to her about it, communication btw you two is the best KEY |
zains:Oh my God! I actually remembered the line today and I have inserted it before seeing your post. I am glad to see a GCA lady here. Which year were you? I was 1998 set. |
prittigrrr:A traditional marriage doesn't need the presence of a court before it is dissolved although it is the most accepted marriage (before God and Man) cos this is where the two parties and families agree to give a lady to a man. It is the only marriage that conforms to the custom and tradition of the land. It is the most accepted by God cos this is the only place where the bride price (Bible and Kuran supports) is paid. For one to end this type of union, you only need to inform the other family that you can no longer cope and want to or have dissolved it. |
