I will definitely say BSc because I have both. If you are in US, employer is interested in the discipline not how it is called.
A four years program is seen as a degree or equivalent.
There was nothing like HND from beginning, what we had was National Diploma Plus 1yr IT which would have qualified you for an Associate Degree, thus getting admission into 200/300 level to qualify for a full Degree.

When in doubt chief, ask questions. I have people that went through the polytechnic system of education and I saw their lecture notes. They had borrowed courses from the ones you listed.

law - polytechnics do this
economics - polytechnics do this
philosophy, psychology - I can't say of this one
sociology - polytechnics do this
computer science - polytechnics do this
public administration/pol science - polytechnics do this
management - polytechnics do this

I give it to polytechnic students who also did BSc. I really admire their courage, I really do. The peer pressure pushed them beyond their limit.
Yes, I did psychology.

I was studying engineering in both polytechnic and university at the same time. There approaches are not the same and the curriculum are not the same

ICAN is a professional institute. Let's not bring it into the discussion as the Bsc/hnd issue is about academic differentials. A B.sc accounting borrows courses and is more extensive in scope than an hnd accounting. A Bsc accounting would take mandatory courses in law, economics, philosophy, psychology, sociology, computer science, public administration/pol science, management, and do on. The aim is to develop a complete professional proficient in fields that are, outside of but relate to, financial management as a whole. In Poly, did you do all of these? I feel Poly focuses on training technicians. Even the sophistication of the learning content and instruction varies across the two
Yes, a HND Accounting will do all those listed courses you mentioned.
I remember doing Physics and Chemistry sef.
Except you have an encounter you won't really know their scope of study.
If you run a WES evaluation, it will equate it, that's why people go to US schools for Msc without any top up program.

Na lie joo. The curriculum is not the same and the approach to education are not the same
Do you have both??
My discipline is Social Sciences.
Admission requirements is 5credits for both.
I can't see any difference in the two, in fact, the result of the latter is better than the former
Education / Re: NUC Rejects Move By NBTE To Float A Programme To Upgrade HND To Degree by OlujobaSamuel: 7:37am On Oct 16, 2023
They don turn am to politics, the best thing is to do like Lagos State, turn all polytechnics to universities, make NBTE redundant, scrap it, rebrand NUC.
I obviously knew it would result to this, that's why I was against NBTE decision when it was announced a while ago.
For those claiming admission requirements, it's the same requirements, I have the two, the curriculum is also the same, I didn't learn anything different, except for ego that I'm now having so so qualification.

I run a POS business, and I tell my operators to ensure the terminal is always visible to the customer during transactions.
Do you use your card steadily for online transactions? If not, your bank would have blocked the card with such multiple online transactions when there is no OTP

MORAL OF THE STORY IS IGBO VALUE MARRIAGE.

WE NO DEY BORN BASTARD.

U WWANT KIDS, GO AND MARRY.
That is what is good for your culture according to your elders(ancestors), some culture do not see it in the same manner.
In Yoruba culture, the family (man) will make him responsible for the child well being, by extension, the mother of the child, meaning if you don't have the capacity, don't try to impregnate a lady.
Either ways, it's to prevent a similar occurrence, albeit, in different form

Where did you read that someone else took care of the child?
You might have to go back to the background of the story the op is making reference to.
The woman left her cohabiting husband house with about 4children, got married to another man that works under the man as a pastor of a branch of the church, he changed the children names to the new husband's name, and she is putting up culture as a defence

I wonder ooo. In Yoruba land, our culture do not permit a child to sleep outside, that is, another man should not be the one responsible for such child, either the child from a duly wedded couple or mistress, so I wonder how people expect such conflict of culture to be resolved.
The constitution will always uphold what is seen to be the right decision by any sane human.

The judge do not rule against Igbo culture, as he doesn't know about such culture.
The woman presented the culture as a defence to her case, which the judge rightly threw out such defence.
Any judge either Igbo, kanuri, yoruba, Fulani, etc would have ruled same way and passed similar comment.
The ruling or comment is not different from what different Justice's have said on female child exclusion from inheritance.
The judge said a culture can't take away a child from an intimacy of 2 consenting adults, meaning, since she wasn't forced into the relationship against her will, there is no way for the culture to prevent the man from enjoying the results of their relationship

You are incorrect, the fund is sourced from 2% then and now 3% industry tax which could have been shared by Federal, State and Local Government. The money belongs to the three tier of government, so who ever is feeding you with that information is lying to you. The idea of funding private university was initially a plea from the owner which will require amending the act.
I don't understand what you are talking about, tetfund isn't for any 3tiers of govt, so I don't know where you got local, state and fed govt.
Also, I already did a modification to my initial post which you can see, so I don't understand what you are driving at.
Finally, tetfund isn't for sch funding, but infrastructural funding in schools, they don't finance school operations.

Fallacious! Both Dangote & Ibeto were allowed to import a percentage to augment insufficient local supplies otherwise prices of few locally produced would skyrocket. That's commonsensical, RIGHT?

IBETO later got forex from CBN to boost local production both in Enugu & PHC with other value-added (engineering, design, etc) BUT Dangote under Buhari stopped Ibeto, and continued giving forex to Dangote!

Don't be mischievous. Dangote is not pro-masses. He's so selfish & an economic saboteur!

If BAT has the balls & restores IBETO CEMENT, watch out & see how he will crash cement prices.

Import cement under Buhari Are you kidding?
Cement importation stopped during yaradua tenure, not even gej's time was cement imported.

This is evil, callous, wicked and disastrous to the public universities!
Imagine an agency of government established to help public tertiary institutions in infrastructure and modern teaching facilities would now extend the gesture to privately owned businesses/ institutions whose primary objective is to cripple public institutions.
What is wrong with our government oh God!
This is not true, tetfund isn't for public schools, it's for all schools.
Why are state owned tertiary schools benefitting from it despite some charging high fee?
Modified.
I just checked, the Fund is for just public schools (state and fed). Apologies for that.

Tetfund was created with an obj to cover all schools and not just public schools, public schools have been the sole beneficiary because private charged substantial fee that covers major infrastructural need.
Modified.
The fund is for just public schools, private is excluded. Thanks
