Well said! I'm actually giving you standing ovation here.
One is bound to encounter challenges in marriage that will either make the unit stronger or weaken it. Like someone mentioned above, there is a right person for everyone. Some people are lucky to find the right person straightaway, some have to try a few times and some never find, not because the person is not out there, but because they haven't been lucky yet. Just like lottery, you never know if you will be lucky if you don't try it.
Like the op said above, it's the small small things that can scatter marriage. Small petty, irritating and annoying things that slowly build up until it becomes larger than life. During that period the man or woman will have, in their head, arrested, prosecuted, and found the other person guilty. All in their head o. Punishment could be the man or woman deciding to move on from the other emotionally (he or she ain't got your back no more and would be fair game for another man or woman) or end the marriage. To the other person it will be like it just happened out of the blue, "we don't have any major issues, just normal husband and wife stuff?!" etc etc. It's the small things.
That's why it's very important that you try and marry someone that you can get along with easily on a normal padi padi level. Someone you can do things with. Can easily talk to each other. And for pete's sake, there has to be some sexual chemistry because marriage is no longer the life sentence of abstinence it used to during the time of our elders. People will look outside if all hope has been lost inside their marriage.
Also it's foolish to marry someone just because they are from the same tribe with you. You might speak the same language and still not COMMUNICATE with each other. You might be the same tribe but very DIFFERENT individuals with different upbringing that will just be grating against each other.

daddymummy: This experience took place when I sat in front of female soldiers inside a luxurious night bus.
Because they are soldiers, the back seat was closed so that they were sitting at the very end.
As in, they took over all the back seat, and the space that remained behind them was closed, because a civilian must not sit behind a soldier.
It is a soldier that is supposed to sit behind a civilian, not the other way round.
You know soldiers prefer the back seat in a luxurious bus.
All the soldiers there were females who just returned to their base in Kano, after their pass had expired.
A fair female soldier started saying she needed banana.
She said it several times.
She asked me if I could give her banana.
I could not decipher if she meant real banana or the other banana.
Because she is a soldier,it could be dangerous to assume she needed the other banana,if that was not what she meant.
She told me several times that she needed banana.
I wanted to buy her banana by the road side but she just laughed and said I should not.
She told other female soldiers around that I am a well behaved somebody.
She and another soldier gave me okpa which I ate.
So from Aba to Kano,I was not at ease, not knowing what to expect and fearing that she might think I am shunning her,if she actually meant the other banana, without me accepting to give it to her.
But I am very disciplined and cannot easily fall into sexual immorality, even if she had clearly told me she wanted sex.
But I really liked her after I heard her telling a story of how she and some female soldiers were sent to a location to guide.
She said she gathered all the females in the location and asked them to lie down on the ground while she spared only the males.
She said that she and the other female soldiers later "broke the legs" of all the women as they laid on the ground.
She said she did so to show the females there that she was better than them.
She said most men in that location fell in love with her and the other female soldiers after seeing their (the female soldiers) superiority over their women.
She said some males there left their fiancee and got engaged to the female soldiers which has resulted in about 10 of the female soldiers marrying from that location.
She said one truth which I read before in a psychological book: Many men will leave their fiancee for a woman who is able to show superiority over their fiancee.
If she had asked me to marry her after saying this,I would have accepted immediately.
Because from all her statements,I was able to see that she respect males unlike most women who see men as objects of disrespect and insult.
I later arrived Kano without any issues.
Let's assume all this is true.
So you are prepared to marry a harlot - a woman who will asked a random guy on the bus that she just met for banana (di.ck)?
So you are prepared to marry a psycho - a woman who thought that breaking the legs of fellow women was appropriate to prove some sort of point?
I'm usually not so quick to dismiss certain stories because Nigeria is a very strange place and I have met some very strange women in Nigeria including
- One woman who I met on the bus from nysc orientation camp to primary place of assignment. She kept on saying I looked like her brother and consequently fvcked me later on that day.
- One (the most intelligent female I have ever met) who thought it was ok to be telling me, a guy that she'd only know for a few days, that she was an abiku and went along to give me various detailed stories about how she will disappear and reappear in certain locations. She told me about her spiritual husband and how they hold meetings etc. I still fvcked her though and ended up dating her because she had a big ass and money.
- one who would always want me to beat the crap out of her and then fvck her after. I was quite young then and the whole beating up thing turned her on tremendously. In fact she groomed me because I met her at a shop were she was chatting with the sales girl who was her friend. I went to pay for me stuff and she offered to pay for me.
Too many strange women to mention.
I've since relocated abroad and have never met or heard of women like those I came across in Nigeria. There are indeed many unbalanced people walking around freely in Nigeria because Nigeria is a place where unbalanced people thrive and balanced people suffer.

beejaay: seriously i have been trying to for a long time but cant seem to...i really wanna leave anything naija news, its always full of stupidity and irrationality with mumu people dropping crazy comments
If you quit NIGERIAN internet for 5 years and then come back, you will still meet the same rubbish unhinged comments from deranged bigots.
iamadonis2: You sound really wise and mature. The kinda orientation someone would have obtained from either traveling to a few other societies or socializing with upwardly mobile individuals
iamadonis2: It’s not about the job right now. I strongly believe life is to be lived on the premise of doing what makes you happy. Apparently he’s been unhappy for 7 years.
That’s too long a time to feel like you can’t control the course of your life, or make new decisions.
When a man wants to help himself [and find his destiny], the whole universe conspires to help him. It’s called “Beginners luck”.
I see what you mean. Its just that sometimes Nigerians have this mentality that everyone should be out there making money. Very wrong. The sad fact is that not everyone will become rich, no matter how hard they try. Its just not physically possible for that to happen. Also, not everyone is cut out to be an entrepreneur. Its just nature. That is why it is very important for a nation to set the structures up to provide a high standard of living for its citizens. That way an individual could be working as an engineer with the local government and will still be able to buy a house (mortgage), by a car (finance), send his children to top quality free schools (government), access good quality health care (government), be able to look forward to a decent pension when he retires and still manage to build up reasonable savings. All this will be done without the need to involve himself in anything shady or corrupt.
Only people who really want to will end up doing business and not like a situationin Nigeria where most people have no option but to do it and still don't manage to succeed. That's why you have so many substandard businesses in Nigeria with very rude, unprofessional and unmotivated unhappy people running them. Some of these businesses are also being subsidised by illicit and corrupt activities where money is being siphoned from government establishments. Also these people see their government jobs as "Tachere" and don't take them serious. These are supposed to be important jobs that underpin the successful operation of a nation. I used to have a friend who worked for immigration, and he will not touch his salary for years because he was doing various businesses. At best, he'll pop into the office for about 30 minutes, joke with one or two people and he's off again.
iamadonis2: 7 years? You’ve been feeling helpless for 7 years and you stayed put? Nah nah
You’ve been consumed by fear. Purge that fear and you’ll begin to see the world as your oyster.
I'm just curious though. If he leaves the job he's doing, then who will do it? The reality is that pay in Nigeria is low because Nigeria is a poor country. There's nothing wrong with the job he is doing but the pay is poor because Nigeria is poor. That job and several other civil services jobs are necessary for local, state and federal government to function but the pay is poor because Nigeria is poor. Nigeria is a poor country.

While some sees nothing wrong in it, other viewed it as totally unacceptable. What’s your take on it. Can you allow your boyfriend or girlfriend go on a date with so called bestie and end up this way?
He looks like a guy who will have a lot of females crushing over him, so he might actually just see her as his bestie. However, the b!tch might have other ideas and is just biding her time waiting for him to slip up. Females are very patient.

So Buhari is suffering from dementia? That explains a lot of things. It's not a crime to suffer from dementia. I'm familiar with that disease. The person will just wake up one morning and be asking his wife who she is. He will be crying and asking her not to touch him because he doesn't know her. Just imagine yourself waking up one morning with a stranger in your bed and strange children coming up to you shouting daddy daddy. Not funny at all.
Once again the north has been short changed. First with Yardua and now Buhari. However Buhari has defied expectations and stubbornly stayed alive, instead of dying so that Osibanjo can take over. I believe that was the plan all this while.
This explains a lot of things to me. Explains the apparent dysfunction in this government probably because they've been fighting a dangerous secret war within. The people orchestrating all these things are the most dangerous people in Nigeria and everything should be done to prevent them from taking over power in 2023.

A Nigerian lady identified as Jane on Twitter has lamented after she went on a date with a man and he told her he can't pay for what she ate.
Taking to social media to narrate her experience, Jane revealed that the man blatantly declined to pay for what she ate, saying he would only settle his own bill.
She revealed that she only requested for a plate of fish pepper soup, grilled chicken, rice and drinks.
The lady shared;
See Reactions Below; "@OtuStephanie1: An Igbo guy I went on a movie date with…..buh it was fine cause I paid for 2 different movies that day, and he paid for his too………when the date was done, I blocked him everywhere. It’s no crime if he tells me to come with my money, imagine I wasn’t with my card.
@EginOfficial: This should have been agreed upon before setting out. What if you don’t have cash on you?
@white_wears: Lol. Why invite her on a date if you can’t pay for her food. Except she ate too much tho. Is it not normal?
@blaqcrystal_: That’s why you need money and you eat what you can pay for, no be every guy get sense"
It's only in Africa where a grown woman (not a child o) will go on a date without holding her own money. Even worse she wouldn't even check to see if she can afford the place they are going to. Poverty na bastard!
Ladies, it's in your own interest to ask who's paying before shifting your flabby ass. Either that or you just bill him from the beginning so that it is clear that you are hoeing instead of trying to finesse the whole thing.
If it is right for you to automatically assume that the man will pay, then it is also right for the man to automatically assume that he will fvck you if he pays!

badcurrent: I saw an alien invasion on Earth. Myself and my family inside our car going home, then I looked out the window to the sky and saw a massive space ship entering into the earth atmosphere, everyone on earth saw it, and people started running, I was curious so I looked again and I saw a second space ship way more bigger than the first time overing the sky with a Clock under it, the clock was set to one of these 9:50/55, 10:50/55, 11:50/55, 12:50/55,( I use these four time sets because I wasn't exactly sure what I was hearing or seeing, but it was evening, and everyone was returning home when all these happened). After seeing the second ship I urge my entire family to leave the car and run into the house because we well already very close to our home, we all ran into the house with a few strangers because I didn't want to much people in our house for security reasons. I made sure every one was settled, but my mind kept telling me to look outside because I was missing the details of what was happening, so I went to the kitchen took up arms and peep through the window. I heard people screaming at the height of their voices, I saw birds flying in disarray and in chaos, then I saw beasts in Dragon heads everywhere, one saw me and came breaking through the kitchen window, I fought it off with the Axe with me, other try come as well I fought them off same way too, then suddenly I woke up.
This vision was so real I felt like it was a real life experience, the only thing missing was my usual panic I usually experience when in a vision, this means this is a very future event, something I may not experience in my life time.
