Islamic inheritance when there are no sons. Let's assume that the man leaves behind 100 dollars for his family and it is shared in accordance with Quran 4:11

⅛ of 100 is 12.5 for the wife

⅔ of 100 is 66.7 for the daughters

⅙ of 100 is 16.7 for the mother

Another ⅙ of 100 is 16.7 for the father

Making up a total of 116 dollars

Allah's sharing formula exceeds the actual amount of money left for inheritance

I just read this chapter:
The sons should get twice the share of the daughters.


If there are no sons all the girls should share 2/3rds of the estate and the deceased parents 1/6th each= 2/3+1/6+1/6 =1

But if he does not have any children: then his mother 1/3 and father 2/3.

If he has brothers and sisters, then his mother 1/6th so the deceased brothers and sisters can share.


My own interpretation. But you can pass your message accross without abuses or curses.

There is already a defined method of sharing inheritance.

Any body can only make a will to bequeath gifts to people and this should be taken out of the wealth before the inheritance is shared.

And there is a limit that can be shared as gifts out of the wealth.

The same way a Muslim should not take from a non Muslim's wealth. It's vice versa. Although his parents may gift him a portion of their wealth before any sharing of wealth. (My thinking is that why would you want to benefit from something you don't believe in.)

Male children get 2 times the share of females when sharing property. (Maybe because men are the breadwinners). But remember Islam allows women to own their wealth desperate from their husband and to use it as they please. So even though the woman has that wealth the man is still supposed to take care of her according to his ability and has no right to demand from her wealth except she is willing.

If we get instant master card. Can we not get the NIMC card instantly and charge d same N1k to beneficiary's account. Or does the master card have lower security features than the NIMC card?


If the NIMC card has been enforced on age range- 14-100. About 60% of this age range would have a bank account.
