If you don't have any other things to do except to be watching TV, then streaming will be expensive. But for people that go to work and have family who go to sch, streaming is way cheaper. Since on Saturday to today, after watching Liverpool match yesterday, my total data usage on streaming so far is roughly 6gb. Aside from weekends, we hardly watch TV beyond 2 hours, so it's way cheaper for me to stream than pay for subscription plus the advantage of watching what you want and not what they show you.

bros it is more expensive to stream. Especially if you are addicted like watching 4k content like me. I dont enjoy a movie that lacks high definition picture quality. To me streaming is more expensive. The only advantage I have is on streaming is you have unlimited contents. You decide what to watch unlike the boring cables.

I was shocked to see that I used 4gb to stream on my TV from morning till after Chelsea match yesterday.

As someone that goes to work and only watch TV during the evening hours, 10gb is far far enough for me for the month. So 20gb of 5k will serve two months.

I didn't even consume up to 1.1gb to watch Chelsea match with my tab yesterday. I don charge my tab to full waiting for Ngozi united and Arsenal match by 4.30pm.

I have successfully stopped subscribing on GoTV since 6-7years now. Why did I stop?
I remember I subscribed that month and discovered that the channels didn't fully load. I called their contact center and I was told they have removed the channels.

The lady that picked the call sounded so nonchalant, and that the remover is their choice and no need to inform the customer. I stopped subscribing the next month. They have called me tire since then, offered me incentives and inducements, I haven't changed my decision.

Monthly, I simply activate MTN's 200GB on my 5G router and enjoy movies of choice, YouTube, football etc.

I like the be in control and doing streaming gives me control cuz I have not subscription running whether I watch or not. I can also control my data usage. Some months, nah 110GB I use, some 150GB and I just roll over the data.


Since I saw the increase in bouquet I just dey laugh 😄

all you need, Decoder, Dish, LNB and wire. you can find an installer in your environment

Bro we are talking about a 60cm or 90cm dish here same as those dstv dish you mount, it might surprise you i did the installation myself, its not even my job ...i just watch some DIY videos on youtube and i did it myself.
I had almost all material when i re-installed, however budget 50k.

my decoder is 32k but there are even cheaper ones for 20k, viewsat decoder & co.

15k go cover dish and LNB

Wire and who go install can take up to 15k tthat'sall up to you.

I just bought three free to air disc one for Movies, one for news and the other for sports. I don't even know much about it or how it works because my son introduced it to me. But it cost us 300k+ for purchase and installations. Started using since november and up till now, we've paid no dime for subs because there ain't any. I wonder why people can't just switch .
