But what is wrong with some northern people for heaven's sake, this same woman protested for some school girls that were kidnapped by Boko Haram in chibok and she even campaigned for buhari to be elected. But now that she is standing for something (EndSARS) that most of them don't agree with because of tribal and religious sentiments, they want her to surrender her head. The hypocrisy of these northern people stinks to high heaven. If they are happy with their leaders, why are they looting the covid-19 palliatives and some other properties of their government? When we started the EndSARS, they did not support us because they see it as an attack on their hero buhari, but when the looting started of covid-19 palliatives, they quickly joined the bandwagon. Someone should tell these people that we are all in this ship together, if they allowed their leaders to use them to sabotage this movement in the name of religion and tribe, then "WE DIE HERE TOGETHER" according to Aisha. Those leaders will run away and abandon them when things get out of control. |
Kuginzi:Aboki fulani almajiri terrorist, may you die by the same sword you are using to kill innocent citizens across the country in the name of ethnoreligious differences. We have known you Fulani's not be peaceful people, everywhere you are lies destructions just like you are currently killing innocent people in Mozambique, Tanzania and Congo |
Just dey hear that police as he day brag o, he won tell me say he never collect bribe before? |
Kuginzi:Are you one of tinubu hired assassins and thugs he used to disrupt protestors? |
The new era of looting begins. The youths should let these people know that the protest has just begun |
This guy is dead politically, the only thing left is that he is yet to be lynched by the mob. I will watch the turn of events in the coming days to see if Nigerians are actually worth fighting for. |
ivolt:Aboki almajiri, we know them by their comment |
The problem we have in this country is that, we have evil people in both police and the military. The military man who shot her could have done that out of hate or "nothing anybody fit do me". I don't know why the law is so linien in the prosecution of security operatives when they committed such a dastardly act. You can say police and military were trained before they were allowed to carry firearms, but you can only train someone mentally but you cannot train them by moral or conscience. That is why we need a strong judiciary panel for the prosecution of excesses of the police and military. RIP |
Then who is begging you to do the job before, is that why you resort to killing innocent people? Police have used their guns to kill more innocent people than the real criminals. These people deserve nobody's mercy |
Everything they want to do, they jet out of this country with tax payers' money, despite the scarcity of dollars, I'm sure all the zara's child delivery hospital bills will be settled in hard currency. How can these people have interests of Nigeria in their hearts? Are you sure Nigeria is not being ruled by aliens? Northern youths that are supporting buhari mindlessly, you will soon get sense. |
These people are preparing for war against the youth not the Boko Haram, they know that the youth have begun what can only end in a total revolution of the country. |
But these people look organized now, are they also looters? |
Metaltears:Is this a threat to other nairalanders too? |
Amhappy:Nothing will happen because she is doing buhari and northern oligarchs bidding, but if it is in other way round, be expecting her invitation by DSS very soon. |
Little wonder anywhere Muslims are in this world are no peaceful. I used to pity these people when USA invaded Arabs countries and killed millions of Muslims in the middle East, now I see USA is doing a great favour to humanity and human civilization. Muslims or Arabs can ill-coexist with anyone outside their faith, even if you are doing them a favor right now and helping them in whatever cause they are facing, it is just a matter of time before they turned against you and killed you because you are seen as a kafir. Religious and tribal sentiments are a great impediment to Nigeria's national development plan. |
ariesbull:Has almajiri mofo like you ever heard of "spell checker"? |
Jorgenvava:Thank you for this analysis. Regarding the families of the deceased protestors, if military killed your sons and daughters and they are threatening to not speak up and you cowed to their threats, that shows you are a bad parent who was not worthy of these protestors. |
Were those items found with them when arrested, we don't support looting o. Looting the covid-19 palliatives is still understandable, but looting another man's business during the unrest is not tolerable. |
Omoh this one na double poisons o, a lot of dangerous creatures out there. Who knows how many ancient creatures that are hiding from man that we haven't seen yet. |
And the northerners are still burning and looting more properties in the Fagba area of Lagos in guise of ethnic clash with Yoruba. I've no joy for these people henceforth with the way they sabotaged this peaceful protest, little wonder they are dying like chickens in the hands of Boko Haram and bandits. The South tried to liberate the youths of this country from the clutches of cabals but the northern youth say they will rather continue to lick buhari excreta. |
Amotolongbo:Thank you, same problem is currently going on in Fagba area of Lagos where the yoruba and hausas are in tribal loggerhead, hausas are looting people's properties and burning business places. The residents are calling for police and SARS to come to their rescue. The same SARS we are fighting to end, imagine the shame. Nigerians take advantage of everything for their selfish gain. If care is not taken, we will soon be begging SARS to save us from these hoodlums. |
These hoodlum attacks must be stopped. We cannot address impunity with another impunity. The reason why this protest began in the first place was because of the impunity of the special anti-robbery squad SARS using their excessive powers to torture, incarcerate, extort and kill innocent people, now these hoodlums are doing the same thing by taking advantage of this protest to loot, destroy and taking over other people's private fortunes. I watched some footages on Twitter concerning the ongoing tribal clash between Yoruba and hausa in Fagba area of Lagos. The hausas are looting and destroying people properties, now they are calling for police or SARS to come to their rescue, the same police unit they are fighting for its disbandment. If this level of destruction of people properties continues, people will be the ones begging for SARS to return. Then we will now become a laughing stock before the government and to the international community who has lent voices to this movement. |
AniOmaa:What gives these hausas the odasity to misbehave in other people's territories is the army, I heard they get free supply of firearms directly from the military. Also, I heard the oyigbo area of river state is currently under attack of Fulani's herdsmen with the aid of the military. Yorubas and igbos need to wake up, this EndSARS protest has shown us our common enemy. |
blackjesus777:From the current event of EndSARS protest, I can categorically say that the northerners are the reason why Nigerian politicians are able to hold people into ransom for so long. Their brains are like the cattles rearers, it is only one way traffic. Anything which their imams and surdana tell them to do is what they will do, these people are barbarians. You can never imagine the Fulani/hausa youths fighting their corrupt imams or emirs like Yoruba youths did to Oba of Lagos. Their sabotaging behavior towards this EndSARS protest because of buhari, who has failed to protect them from Boko Haram and bandits, shows that these people are far behind modern civilization. Igbos might have their own problem with tribalism and clanishness, but they can cooperate with Yorubas when it comes to the issue that affects all of us like this EndSARS protest. The way that any northern leader is quick to send their hausa soldiers to disrupt any peaceful movement in the South shows that these people have imperialist agenda against the country. The soldiers are currently helping fulani herdsmen to massacre people at oyigbo area, river state as we speak. The South youths of this country need to wake up if the northern counterparts are not ready to cooperate with us. We are all in this together or else we surrender to the whims and camprices of the old evil politicians who are ready to shed the blood of sons and daughters of a common man to perpetuate their rogue reign with their own sons and daughters. |
I thought this thing happened some few days ago, nairaland is late at reporting its breaking news. I heard the incident started when some trucks with hausa drivers plowed through protesters that were blocking their way, and the protesters responded by burning the trucked down, then hausas responded with rampaging destruction of properties around the area, so the clash ensued. |
blacknp:Those elements you mentioned, what are the proportions of their contribution to the economic underdevelopment in Nigeria? Cultism, youth gangsterism, internet fraud aka Yahoo etc, are also in the USA, China, and the rest of the first world countries. Do they blame them for their economic problems? Corruptions are prevalent in Nigeria, how many of them are committed by Yahoo Yahoo and other anti-social elements you mentioned? |
The major reason why soldiers and police commit act of impunity is because they know they can get away with anything in this country. |
Of all the demands listed by the youths to stop this protest, this is the one this president considered as a priority now. What about freeing detained protesters and compensation for the families of the deceased protesters? |
It is like buhari came back to contest for presidency because he had scores to settle with the youths. I've never seen such an anti-youth regime in the history of this country. |
If you see the incidence wey make me laugh most, na this one. Na the way that boy carry the oba staff dey run as if na one kind food wey he won go eat dey make me laugh . I heard the oba staff is already on jumia or jiji? |
Good step in a right direction, now is to curtail their excessive road blocks and extortion in the country. |
Why are you calling these people thugs, they are repressed people for heaven's sake? There are many women and children among them, even the military and police were seen coming with their hilux to pack covid-19 palliatives. Everybody in Nigeria is hungry. |
