As much as I do not support underage marriage and I believe the girl child should be given the opportunity to actualise her dreams and choose whatever she wants to become and eventually whoever she wishes to marry but I will advise that we do not bring religion into this at all......

Marrying the wrong man/woman is not something palatable, It's like "Cancer in the marrow" and only the victim(s) could explain the pain(s) associated with such marriages(s).

When a young man/woman are planning on marriage together, it's a joyful and good things because it's the commandment of God. But, Brother, before you get married,PRAY to the Lord about it so you wont love the wrong woman, and Sister, tell God about it. The reason we have to pray assuredly is not far fetched.

Marriage is a fragile and a very sensitive issue, a matter of "till death do us part". So many would have made Heaven easily without trouble but alas! It's a pity! Wrong marriages have caused more harm than good. I would centre my dvise majorly on bachelors/spinsters seeking marital partners.

My Brother, when you want to marry, please don't look at her beauty(her fair complexion, brown like chocolate, or dark as tyre), and don't because of her hospitality marry her because so many have used these as criteria and are regretting now.

This makes me remember the case of a young brother, which we are going to make use as our yardstick to buttress this very important fact: "THERE IS DANGER IN CHOOSING IN OUR WISDOM AND THEN CLAIM IT'S GOD'S WILL".

Don't forget marriage is sacred and very fragile.

Back to the story of the young man.

He got married in a flamboyant way (heaven tingle, earth trembled). After returning home, the wife conceived and after 9 months, she put to bed a baby boy. Then, after sometime, the second and third children were born.

The wife started showing a strange signal at home: the 1st child mysteriously died, the 2nd and finally the 3rd child followed. "Ah! It's the work of evil people in your village", people were chanting not knowing it's the work of their mother, using them as sacrifices in her coven.

The worst part is that she killed even from her in-law's family. Her husband was an MD of a multi-national company in Lagos, but through her evil works, he was reduced to a destitute. Her words were always: if na pesin dey cause all dis calamity in my family, God wil judge una." See her level of hypocrisy?

But, the day the cat was let out of the bag, her husband couldn't believe it. Is this a dream or a vision? He was asking. This is where false Will of God led him to.

After the meeting, he went to see his pastor. He narrated everything about the MISTAKE he made during courtship. He lamented: "Please Daddy, save me, bail me out, i've made a terrible mistake. Daddy, you asked me then if i've prayed about it but i lied. I chose her based on her intelligence,her beauty, the gift embedded in her, and her hospitality which were what drew her to me". He told the Pastor point blank that he wanted a Divorce, forgetting God frowns at it.

The MOG told him to calm down first and he explain the "visions" the man told him then.

The pastor starts: "i asked you then if you have prayed to God about it. You said yes and even backed it up with the visions you had. Let me remind you, your response were: Sir, i can't lie to you, i have prayed and seen visions. In my first dream, i was fetching water when suddenly she appeared and offered to fetch the water which she did, then I heard the voice; That's your wife".

The last goes thus: "I suddenly found myself in the midst of people celebrating. I noticed i wore an expensive traditional attire, and on turning to my side, it was this sister i saw, to cut story short, we got married". These are the dreams you told me then", the Pastor concluded.

The pastor told him never to think about divorce because it's God commandment that none should put asunder what He has joined, and that he should remember those vows he made on the altar.

So, Sister, take heed, be wary of "sugar-coated mouth" brothers, there are many of them in the Church of God, BE WATCHFUL.

Brother, i exhort you too, Filing for Divorce is not Biblical(under whatever circumstances).
PRAY SO YOU WON'T PRAY.

Pray before you marry that sister. Sister, seek the face of God before you wed that brother.

I am fully aware of how difficult this is because I have been there before !

I am a naturally compassionate person and I have a very small circle that I am fiercely loyal to. That was my undoing in the relationship.

I have at a point given half of my earnings to an uncle who was in difficulty because of the role he played in my life when I was much younger.
I have given my car out severally for friends to use when they needed it.
I have borrowed out part of my school fees to help a friend who was in a hole at that time - needless to say, he didn't pay back.

Call me crazy but I naturally derive pleasure and fulfillment in helping ppl out of difficulty.

I naturally carried this same attitude to my first serious relationship - everybody thought I was a 'lost in love' idiot but I was just being myself .....
boy was I taken for granted !!!!!! It was real crazy. It continued for years and we had started discussing marriage until I met with a marriage counselor and she laid the facts bare ! It just stared me in the face that I was being taken for a ride and I summoned all the courage I had to walk away !

Women are complex creatures, you can never tell with them ! Am sorry my relationship made me lose a lot of regard for the feminine folk. I grew up amongst women and I had this equality mindset in my earlier years but sorry, I see differently.

Funny enough, the girl might love you (although sixth sense says she's not) but as long as you are still there, you will remain her fool.

Thank You Laimo, I feel so hurt, am just trying to be careful as this could be deadly, there was a time I complained about her only calling when she needs one thing or the other, I caught her cheating but I felt that was not enough to leave her, called her and warned her but when I travelled home and my sigma had problem in 2009, I left the car, even sold it later, I started visiting her with cab as I must get her dinner every night as usual , it was a tough time for me, and I could no longer cope with her bills, we had a big misunderstanding and she left.
I started seeing her on bike as she love eatery so much, she one time invited me to one eatery but I didn't go cos I was not happy with her, but I soon recovered and got another car, was trying to get gas in a filling station and the bike she took that day wanted to get gas too, so my friend called her and she joined us, that was how she followed us home that day and we reconciled , but after she left for law school, I started visiting, sending money and bought all books, buying clothes and never allowed her to be driven by any of those rough commercial drivers, I was always there to take her home with her parent waiting for her at home, I ensured she was posted to a peaceful state but when she went for NYSC she requested I should give her 200k for house rent but I was broke then, she threatened me that a guys was asking out and ready to give her the money, I was dump founded , she started giving me deadline to send the money but I couldn't raise it, so I told her if its all about money, she should just let me be , that was how she started calling, but as was looking for a way out of my financial problem, my uncle in the oil and gas field called me and said I should go for some oil and gas training stuff,..... (Am just heartbroken) I can't type right now.

If I start going offshore now, she will come and start showing me love then, why can't she show me love now? Why is she not calling me now? I love her so much but I hate the way she treated me, I do not want to forgive her.
