Christianity Etc › Re: Questions About Demon Possession - Nairaland Demonology Experts by pak: 7:02pm On Mar 12, 2015*. Modified: 7:41pm On Mar 12, 2015 |
All demons are spirits but not all spirits are demons.
There are 3 levels of demonic activities in man ( Note this categorisations are essential mine) 1. Demonic obsessions (or addictions) - irrational lure of very destructive habits. Have you had an irrational and destructive attraction to pornography, prostitution, drunkenness? Behaviours that you see yourself going back to even though you don't like it? It's not possession per se and might not require deliverance to break the habit. This can happen to anybody, be it christian or muslim, born again or not - as long as you yield yourself to the flesh, the devil knows how to suck you in through things that entice the flesh.
2. Demonic Opressions - there are people who are unwillingly under the influence of evil spirits who do diabolic things even though they have no control over what they do, the key word here is unwilling - sometimes they might not even know. Prostitutes who are into prostitution not because of money but because they just want to prostitute. It's a destructive spirit working in them.
3. Demonic possession - these are humans who have a pact with demons to cause evil. They are often initiated and more often than not, are aware of the spirits behind there deeds. They are very drstructive people who consciously delight in evil and seek to cause harm. Demons have almost full control of people like these. And a christian can't be involved at this level.
But above all these, there are some other sets of people in the world today, that are not just obsessed, oppressed or possessed of demons - these guys are the seeds of the devil. These people cannot be delivered by any known means because they are by their very nature the enemies of God. They are reprobates capable of the meanest form of evil. There conscience is dead and they have a god complex, they are representative of the devil himself - they exist in every plain of life, popular culture, governments and even in churches (yes churches). These are the true witches of which there is no deliverance, of which the bible says - suffer not to live. They are the likes of cain (note- the bible says cain was of the evil one) who heard the voice of God warning him, yet still went ahead to kill Abel. Simon the sorcerer who saw the power of God, yet intended to buy it with money. Jesus said of Judas - have I not chosen you and yet one of use is a devil! he wasn't just possesed, Judas was a devil, he saw the works of Chris for 3 1/2 yrs but was totally unable to come to the knowledge of truth. They are the manifestation of the spirit of the antichrist already at work amongst us. But that is not our talk for today, let's focus on those under demonic operations who can still be delivered |

Ishilove: Lovely as usual! Ishilove likey
From your narration, it wasn't their ethnicity that provoked the fight but the saucy natures of two women acting like binches. The tribal card got played when the women got into full WWE mode. It just shows that deep down, most people are tribalists, and it surfaces when they're acting like primitive barbarians.
I on my part really cannot hate my neighbour because of his tribe: it takes too much energy which I am not inclined waste.
I regard Sani the aboki, Ochikpe the stingy-ass mofo of an Efik lawyer, Abayo the Yoruba tout and Meche the Igbo drug addict (all my neigbours) under the same microscope: Nigerians first, ethnicity second. As much as I understand what you're driving at.... Your final statement couldn't have been more wrong - We are first and foremost members of our ethnic group before being Nigerians. Nigeria is an artificial construct, a geographical expression of sort and there is nothing natural about Nigeria. That does not mean we can't make things work but we must first admit the reality, we were cobbled together to suit our colonial masters. And that is why the issue of an all inclusive constitutional conference is something we can't run away from forever - a place where we can all determine the basis for our being together if we want to remain together |

Tzulu: @OP, If you are asking questions like this and acting on the figures most people gave here, you may never build a house. My advice, buy a genuine land or if you have one already, start to develop it according to your own POCKET gradually. You may not have N1m when you start but constant development of the plot/structure will give you a finished home one day. Please don't use another man's house as your standard. You'll make a good wife and mother to someone one day, if you are not already one ! |

GboyegaD: I remember a story a man of God told us while growing up on why we should mind the extent to which we involve ourselves in people's relationships. He said he once advised a woman who was abuse to move out of her husband's house and one day, his wife moved out on no grounds and that was when God told him that no man is given the authority to separate couples. I think this is Karma too. Rubbish being told by religious folks. I have witnessed the spousal murder of one of my close friends and that has changed my perspective , if anybody is in danger in marriage - leave! |

Culture › Re: How Can You Marry Someone From An Ethnic Group You Claim To Hate? by pak: 11:52am On Mar 10, 2015 |
Both love and hate are very strong emotions and can easily be mistaken for each other. If the object of your love (or admiration) is beyond reach, you subconsciously try to suppress the love and hence your hurt by masking it as hate. That's why it's dangerous to date someone just walking out of a relationship and still has strong hate emotions towards the ex - it's the love still playing itself out. Also, humans generally LOVE to conquer what we HATE That's why you see ladies falling for reckless, womanizing, sweet talking unreliable young men - they actually hate this quality, but LOVE the thrill of conquering someone who epitomizes it. And you see serious minded conservative young men falling for flashy, shallow girls - simple they hate these qualities but subconsciously LOVE the power trip of getting girls like that. Really, homo sapiens are very complex set of beings |

Romance › Re: At 27 He Has Slept With 46 Girls, Now He Wants To Marry. by pak: 6:23pm On Mar 09, 2015 |
stpat1: If that includes runs babes and one night stands then there is no need to cry foul. If its just babes that he dated and slept with, then its understandable.
Now lets see it this way. If he became sexually active at say 15
At 15: He starts to have sex with like 3-4 girls. You know those periods are when teenagers like to experiment (boys and girls alike). Those times you have a lot of these sex starved house girls around. Most times they are first to even initiate you into the game. Them you also start to try your games with other teenage girls in your immediate neighbourhood.
At 16: The process continues cos most of these girls rarely stay for more than 6 months before they are sent away and another replaces. sometimes you have new girls that are brought from villages and all that. There are also new girls conquered in the neighbourhood. some you should have added like 4 new mates.
At 17: You should have been through with secondary school. Most likely you had to go for JAMB and WAEC lessons at this period and you also meet a couple (2-3) of girls during the course of attending lessons, writing exams and waiting for results. By now, the guy is a little bolder and will try his tricks on other new territories too. Now he must have learnt how to woo a chick and he'll probably get at least 2 during this period.
At 18: If he is lucky to make his JAMB and WAEC, he proceeds to the higher institution. The truth is that during this time 90% of students will either make their WAEC and not reach cut off for JAMB or pass JAMB and not make compulsory papers like maths, english, physics etc for them to be able to proceed to the university. So now the process at 17 continues and most probably new babes will be added to the count. Teenagers usually don't have this Loving kind of feeling like adults so they just try and get anyone that can succumb. So now he's likely to get like 4 new chicks cos he even has more time on his hands.
At 19: By now there is pressure on him by his parents to get into the higher institution, so its either he passes his JAMB and WAEC or he gets admitted into pre degree program, Computer school, Pre nd. At this time, he should be able to win at least 2-3 babes. Remember that he is now in the university environment. When he comes home too, he discovers there have been some changes and there are new chicks in the neighbourhood. Now he starts feeling like one uni dude and uses that influence to bed maybe 1-2 new chicks on the block.
At 20: he is now in the main stream higher education system. He now knows he way around and if he stays outside campus, he should be able to bed like 3-4 indigenous chicks that will even be proud to be dating a university guy. He can also add like 2 chicks from school.
From 21-24: with the whole processes going on for 5 years in school, that is from going home and meeting like 1-2 new chicks, at this period he should have met like 15 chicks in school (that is from those met at Departmental parties, welcome parties, birthday parties, friends house, indigenous babes around course mates house etc). Also times like these are when most guys also get to find out nooks and crannies where prostitutes hang out. During his school years (4-5) most guys would have slept with a minimum of 30 Ashies. i.e 1 in a month X 12 months X 5 years (lets assume he met some more than once). You will agree with me that most likely 1 in a month is kind of the barest minimum.
At 25: He should have been out of school and probably waiting to go for NYSC. This period lets say he get 1-2 cos he is now at home and freedom is restricted so he just tries to make do. At this time though, he still sneaks out to ashy joints to get fixes. During this period of 4 - 8 months he might have slept with like 20 ashies.
26-27: Probably should be in NYSC program. During this period, there are a lot of chicks that are looking out to hooking a guy so he kind of gets some easy lockdown. He should be able to bed like 4 corp members on the average, 5 secondary school girls and 2-3 indigenous girls living around his lodge.
Now if you do the calculation, you'd agree with me that 46 babes at 27 yrs is quite normal and natural. From when a guy is born to to 25-30, most guys would have slept with an average of 55 normal chicks. We would not take the Ashies figures into consideration cos that are usually and mostly unaccounted for.
Me I no even get more than 3 chicks till now sef Guy seriously, you should submit this for a Ph.D thesis in mathematics But you have a point, sex is pure water in society right now. And again, being a woman magnet is not the major cause of multiple sex partners, the number one reason is commitment-phobia. Commitment phobic are thrilled by short term relationships |

I wouldnt be surprised if Jim and Nadia later come out to say he is not d father though. Jim is an attention wh.ore. This might just be an elaborate attention seeking stunt. He knows the interpretation the press would give to his post and he might just be milking it. This is a generation on it's knees. Narcissism has bent us over backwards. If the kids are his, that instead of coming out to acknowledge them openly, he rather chose to mysteriously use them to attract controversy and attention is depressing. and if they are not his, then it's worse. phlio: Speaking also with Saturday Vanguard, the beautiful lady, Josephine Ugwu, who has been catapulted to limelight, relived the experience that day: “I am from Enugu State, from Obonkpa in Nsukka Local Government. I live at Agbotukunyo in Agege. The incident happened on the 23rd of January 2015. I was on morning duty. So as I was sweeping around 6:30pm, I saw the bag on the ground and there were some passengers there so I thought that the bag could belong to one of them. But as I closed at 7:20pm, the person to relieve me on duty came that time.”
“I was going to the toilet again, I saw the same bag there. Then I told the passengers sitting there that they should be mindful of the bag because once they announce the flight they may forget it. They replied that the bag did not belong to them. Three of the passengers left, so I then picked the bag and took it to the FAAN security people. At first, they put the bag on the screening machine, before they opened the bag and discovered that there were many envelops in the bag containing money in different currencies including dollars.”
“As they were counting it, I saw an NDLEA woman accompanied by one man and both of them were coming towards us. They said that the man could be the owner of the bag. So when they came in, they interviewed the man and the man mentioned the amount of money and the colour of the bag. Before then, they had counted the money and it was exactly the amount that the man said.”
“Then they carried the money and gave to the man for him to count. After counting, they asked him if the money was complete, he said yes and they snapped him picture. They asked him again about three times and they told the man that, ‘look at the woman that picked your bag’, and the man was looking at me. His name is Mr. Obinna Samuel. They told him that he should thank his God that if it were another person, that person would have run away with the bag but this woman didn’t do that. So I left and the man took the money and put inside the bag and went away.”
http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/03/at-last-shower-of-blessings-on-airport-cleaner-who-returned-lost-n12-million/ As much as what the woman did is very commendable and that is what I would have recommended, we need to get something straight here - The woman did not actually return 12M per se, what she returned was a bag she had no idea what the contents were - but then that in itself is commendable |
