Akson man: SPORTS is a game that can only be won through individual and collective efforts on the field of play.Lemmie correct that please Many champion Kenyan athletes give back to the sport and set up training camps where they help develop up and coming athletes and share their talents. In one town alone, there are five odd training camps belonging to various sports shoe manufacturers. The training facilities have been approved by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). The UK guy 'FARAH' trained alongside Kenyans, in Kenya at ITEN. He learned our endurance. ![]() The 'Ugandan' who won marathanon for his country is a pure Kenyan from the Rift Valley. He ran for uganda though.Infact many kenyans thought he was rep. us. The Ethiopians were not left behind.Infact some kenyans were arguing that we have opened up the facilities to foreigners only for them to beat us. The late marathoner Samuel Wanjiru put up a Mt.Kenya Talent Development Centre which scouts for raw school talent. Many more have pulled up resources and invested in facilities. Several high altitude training camps in the Great Rift Valley and Central Kenya attract many international athletes, yearning to share in a little of that which builds Kenya’s runners.Of course it can't beat the west but they have tried to maintain a standard so let the west come here not the other way round. LOL I dont take Warya seriously. They are good for irritating. His arguments are comic reminding me of a child throwing tantrums. I love seeing a worked up somali like Warya because he can jump up and down like monkey and throw stones when angry. ![]() Just don't remove ur shuka!! ![]() I have seen waryas face.He is an old man with brown long beard trying to feel young. Not asian looking.More negroid.Warya hi! ![]() |
Somali men have big butts like a woman. They have soft skin like a woman. They have small wrists like a woman. They have soft voices like a woman. They have high pitched voices like a woman. They don't work out like most women. And if they do they pick up small weights like a woman. So I just wanted to know if I can get a Somali man as my wife? From Barawe (Man) |
http://www.somalinet.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=103971 Somalis constantly fight about their tribal heritage like it is a good thing to do. I understand in the past, when all of Africa was brainwashed by their colonizers to hate each other ( a little divide and conquer). But why the hell is it still going on to this day? But the annoying thing is not that Somalis are tribal oriented, it's that Somalis lie about it ALL THE TIME. They say they are for unity then turn around and stab someone else in the back because of their tribe. It boogles my mind. Next, Somalis move to a new country and are so stuck on preserving their ways, but they don't realize that they can never reclaim the true heritage and culture of pre-war Somalia in a new country, it's historically impossible. They are so stuck on not assimilating that they do not push their kids towards the only thing that matters in the West, an education. They are more likely to be worried about what Sahra is wearing then what she got on her SATs. Next, what is it with Somali youth who get into a bad life style? They talk a good game about respecting their families and their tribes, but really, dealing drugs after your family has sacrificed so much to bring you here is the biggest slap in the face to your family. Next, religion! Somalis are not as intent on practicing it as they are to prove that someone else is not practicing the right way. Worry about yourself first and the rest shall follow. |
centje: Nice write up buh this thread waz for disadvantages centje: Nice write up buh this thread waz for disadvantagesI couldnt find any.But lemmie try then. 1. You are in a hurry to get somewhere and a random person stops to say 'hi your r beautiful,I love your legs' Now the only inconvinience I see is to stop say THANK YOU and proceed.I go walking feeling like am on top of the world. It's not a disadvantage rather a compliment.2. You are talking to somebody and you can clearly see there eyes are roaming and admiring. Makes you feel like you are talking to yourself. You almost smell lust and desire burning in them yet you are talking serious stuff. What to do? disrupt the stare by talking something nasty and spoiling the mood. It's funny cz I always end up laughing so hard since it was a deliberate move but the person may not even notice. 3. Mhhh what else? That of people thinking you are a dunderhead, happens when you open your mouth to speak. Thing is, know what to talk about, how to talk and with who. Choose subject to suit the audience and you will realise they will listen more than admire. Not the other way round. Problem with all these 'beautiful and mistaken people' is that beauty gets into their heads such that whenever they walk, they feel as though the whole world is watching. They become so conscious of sorroundings and worried about themselves. They walk 'expecting a word'. good or bad. If it fails to come they sulk,if it come they cry trouble.Just live life! I tire oh Have an open and positive attitude when compliments come ur way.You will be glad they do. |
The soul is what defines and gives you life >> Imagination,Conscience,Memory,Reason and Affections. The spirit is the God conscious part of you or rather the part that connects with the spirit world( either evil or holy ) >> Faith,Hope,Prayer,Wosrhip. Your body is just a shell>>It touches, feels, hears and tastes. I think it's easy to understand that. |
MSDRSKINThey facial exprssions come naturally cz they are used to spitting that shit since childhood. I have seen a somali baby make that annoying gurgling sound and get ready to spit! |
you know i dont take what u say seriously. i just provoke u to showcase ur stupidity. you are a play tool and thats all, the average somali is a pain to discuss anything sober with |
warya123: DON'T LET ME TELL YOU MY HISTORY. AM A CROSS BETWEEN APES AND HUMANOh dear. Mind showing us how u look like? It must be horrible living like that. Do you like have a tail, big forehead and hairy body? You love nuts? We can ask redcross to send u some u know. |
warya123: MY FORSKIN? I HAVE BEEN REPEATEDLY MOLESTED BY APES IN SOMALIA. I NEED TO DO A-N-A-L EXERCISE TO MAKE IT TIGHT |
Geo-man:Oh people please! Everybody loves being beautiful/handsome.Everybody loves compliments too. I just wonder how stares affect one negatively except they have a weak personality. If u have all that in terms of beauty but not so sure about urself u will def be affected. That's just my opinion. But say u feel so confident inside and people stop to admire, it feels honourable doesn't it? don't u ever feel that way? |
Nothing strange, but this is what I think happened. You went for her when your heart was still sore. She on the other hand, left her bf,stepped into ur life and filled a gap. After the healing,u now realised that the relationship has no substance. You now see why people are urged to heal/get over before jumping into a new relationship? It's cz pain tends to dull our senses and make us very clingy, touchy and vulnerable since we are emotionally unstable. Pain and sympathy often attract each other and so it's no suprise that we find ourselves connecting with sympathy instead of love. Unfortunatley, once the healing has taken place, we feel empty all over again, because we simply don't connect with the person who made us smile again. We often get over circumstances and feelings cz they dont last forever. Question is what is left after? In summary yours was a relationship of convinience/circumstance and now you are both seeking for love. Go look for the one you love and let her do the same. |
You know this is why Africans need to travel and visit other African Nations not just UK. When I hear someone say that he never knew Nbo had skycrapers I shudder. Each city in the world attracts it's own slum and true Nbo has a big slum called Kibera. Now there is a slum upgrade project in process targeting Kibera. That is what the foreign media keeps showing the world.Infact many tourists get shocked by the developments on the ground cz what they see on TV is not the reality when they land. The West of Africa knows lil about East.I know a number don't realise that Kenya is an oil producing country, that we buy and refine crude oil (we have our own refineries),There's so much that the media will never show apart from wildlife.Funny thing, teh ordinary kenyan on the street doesnt give a damn about the wild. .There are so many natural resources which boost the economy. And large deposits of coal have just been discovered. Very soon we shall be swimming in oil cz exploration is still underway and the news is very encouraging. I also used to be ignorant about Nigeria till I joined Nairaland. All I thought was how overpopulated, corrupt,it was,the bombings, scams,I mean, it's all that the media shows including our very own African Journal.Wars,Poverty and Hunger!! Many African countries are way up there in terms of development. You will only discover if u get out of ur cocoon and travel. But instead of learning from each other we become jealous and start tearing one another down forgeting that the fellow in Europe can't even tell the difference between Uganda and Burundi or Cameroon and Nigeria. |
warya123: am sure if she goes with me i will lynch her. I would not even dare try.But before u lynch me I will have u skinned alive first. |
obitee69: @ Pendo. How is she smart? Do u feel I give her moni? Nahh. She just likes me.smh @ Avalon ur a baboon. Wats wrong with sleepin with an 18year old? FYI I advice her and encourage her to always read. Moreover, I'm a 24 year old banker armed with an MBA and ICAN. So who needs to get a life here. Now see?? 24 year old banker armed with MBA and ICAN calling me a total stranger a baboon. The same MBA banker wants to snatch an 18 year old, who is yet to acquire necessary academic qualifications to help her build her life from another man. The banker loves her bottom and what else dd u say? Young man don't bother replying to me. ok ur free to call me anything though.I usually dont take insults to heart. Just live ur life the way u want cz it's urs |
And correction people. IT IS OKAY TO CALL YOURSELF BEAUTIFUL/HANDSOME. I know that God made all things beautiful in his sight. It's infact a sin to regard one'self as ugly cz it's an insult to your creator. Thing is ' Don't let beautiful looks take the place of ur heart or brains. Let it stay outside where it belongs. That way you will not suffer the disadvantages we are talking about. |
@ dimples,i like the way u express your thoughts.mature and kind omosexy1: Very matured comment. Must be from experience.Lemmie just say this, There's what we call vanity. If you want to enjoy life, live peacefully and long, pay less attention to vanity.Let them be 'added benefit/advantages'working in ur favour. Concentrate more on building ur inner self, cz that will last a lifetime after age/accidents have taken a toll on your beauty. People spend more than half their time and money trying to improve the outer person only to discover that you can never beat nature! Anything can happen. But those who spend time working on the inner man/personality never lose value. Nature doesn't erode their personality. They are attractive because they give us strength to carry on when all fails. Using Onila as an eg.She needs not to feel discouraged cz people are jealous of her beauty. Ever tried doing good to an enemy? It confuses them. A smile,a kind warm word,a compliment for others too and ul turn ur enemies into friends. Not necessary anyway. If anybody is jealous of ur beauty alone, it simply shows how vain and shortsighted they are.If u notice and react to that jealousy, you are also vain and worse. Is there any disadvantage of being beautiful? Yes if 'everyone' else in ur environment is 'ugly'so they keep hating on u. Yes if all they are interested in is your outward beauty. You will only be useful as long as ur beauty lasts. There's is nothing more beautiful than having a clean heart, sober head, good health and a positive attitude. |
