I can't even shake a wolalo's hand or sit close to any. Can't even buy their stuff cz they do not shower and they stink. Their beautiful hair is full of lice and their skin smells like poo. Ethiopians are more cleaner and normal. The somalis heads imo got messed up with grenade fumes loong time ago, so their reasoning is twisted. |
Marry the right person (your best friend),at the right time and for the right reason. I believe those can weather any storm. |
Don't people have issues! smh.sickening |
Once you have tasted Nairaland you tend to find other forums very slow and extremely boring. That is my dilemma. I tried Ghana and left before I even posted anything!Only my username is there. I love Nairaland so much because there is a lot of online activity.Very vibrant. It got into my blood to the extent that I have to come here all the time to catch up with the latest even if I don't comment. I think Kenyans lack a forum culture but trust me they can talk till morning.I on the other hand hate twitter. So I prefer Nairaland cz our forums are slow. |
Hey, ye wolalos start parking go rebuild this nation! What is with useless boasting online. You can claim anything here u know, but reality sucks. Where do u think ur women and kids will settle when clean up starts? Can't you see how desperate we want you to go back? and u will so that other nations can breathe. Smh @ Warya with multiple Ids. AL-SHABAAB FIGHTERS FLEEING KISMAYU ON BUSES Operation Linda Nchi may be nearing the climax of a key phase. The BBC and Voice of America are reporting this morning that Al-Shabaab fighters are leaving the strategically important Somalia port of Kismayu. ![]() Residents reportedly told the Voice of America (VOA) that al-Shabaab leaders had already fled and that their fighters started leaving on Sunday after heavy fighting with Somali and Kenyan troops. Dozens were reported killed and the commander of the Somali forces says al-Shabaab has been defeated. losing the strategic stronghold of Kismayu would be a major blow to Al-Shabaab. In July, a UN report said the export of charcoal from Kismayo and Merca helped al-Shabab generate millions of dollars – despite a UN Security Council ban on countries buying charcoal from Somalia Local residents say militants have been leaving on buses and trucks, taking heavy equipment with them, and have closed their radio station, Radio Andalus. Residents in the port city said it is calm, but some claimed al-Shabab have left behind armed youths with orders to shoot anyone believed to be against the group. Kismayu has been Al-Shabaab’s main base in its fight against the Somali government. African Union (AU) soldiers in alliance with the Somali National Army and the Ras Kamboni Brigade, have been closing in on the town for several days. Two days ago heavy fighting was reported around the strongly fortified town of Birta Dheer and Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) were reported as advancing on Jana Cabdalla, 40 kilometres from Kismayu. There are also reports of fighting at Soyaac where 36 Al-Shabaab fighters are said to have been killed. |
But I thought they fly to Abuja in Nigeria? Please understand that these ratings keep changing yearly based on customer reviews, satisfaction etc. Ethiopian airlines is the fastest growing in Africa. They are good. EK are best in cargo. But SA took the crown 2nd year in row. SOUTH AFRICAN AIRWAYS wins the Best Airline in Africa award at the 2012 World Airline Awards held at Farnborough Air Show In order 1.South African Airways 2.Kulula 3.Air Mauritius 4.Kenya Airways 5.Egyptair 6.Mango 7.Ethiopian Airlines 8.1time 9.Air Austral 10.Air Seychelles Next year Ethiopia may win the crown if they up their service kabisa. But I know they are way up there in service. |

gallivant: The Tana Delta issue is political.Let those idiots in parliament solve it. >:Great the president sacked the Assistant Minister for Livestock yesterday and ordered the GSU to go restore peace. I pity the BALLS of those residents. They will be dealt with Mt.Elgon style. |
Oh my my the Rhino charge. Dare devils. ![]() At times I feel like I could build a tower in Northern Kenya and live there. That place though dry is beautiful. Love the Masai moran pushing the car and the giraffe crossing. ![]() |
What about ARV'S plus a good recommended diet to go with the medication? I see people on ARV'S living a full life, marrying and having kids. Do not die before ur time. |

He needs serious help.I always believe that any human being can compromise if approached well. These are the kind of fellows who take up loans on houses then end up losing everything to auctioneers leaving the family out in the cold and in debts. What is the point? They can even steal to maintain a lifystle. No he needs to sort out his financial mess first before bringing somebody else in his life cz they will tear each other. my opinion. |
wonder how he would feel if his woman met a nice hunk of a guy willing to marry her. in cases where the individual is strong willed, I prefer leaving them to learn through exp. The only unfortunate bit is that by the time the learning process is complete,a lot of damage has taken place and it will require tripple effort to put things back together. Next,Who told the beauty queen that the real mother will be willing to abandon her own kids for her? is she crazy? This guy can write off the relationship because he is not married but the kids responsibility, he must not neglect. My other concern is, if the beauty queen will be able to handle such a guy with fatherly commitments. He must know there will always be somebody better than him. Lastly, will he stay if the queen bears 2 more kids for him? or will he run to the next new queen and leave several bastards behind? I find his reasons for abandoning the mother of his kids to be quite shallow and if all he enjoys now is a 5 hr talk making his knees weak then I feel sorry for him because he will discover the real woman once she lives with her like he did with the current. |
The Access to electricity (% of population) in Kenya was 16.10 in 2009,according to a World Bank report, published in 2010.A lot has happened since 2009 though, am not disputing the fact that rural areas are powered by other sources, despite the rural electrification programms taking place. The costs are prohibitive and so they opt for solar. did u say outside nbo and mba? Those are only two towns in Kenya and u know kenya has 8 provinces @ with several towns. The thing is,there is access to elec power in almost every corner except the marginalised communities who are mostly nomads. solar works best here. But most people without electricity in their homes cannot afford to pay for the connection. It's apprx usd 500 per household to connect and that is quite a sum to a poor villager. Many rural homes I have seen, have elect. poles right outside their gates but cannot pay the 500 usd to power their homes. That was all part of the rural electrification programme which was initiated years back. |
norrisman: 2. Does Obama speak Kenyanese? I dont think he turned out bad.correction.There is no such language.Kenyans speak swahili and english as national languages plus a native language. obama would be speaking luo, swahili and english if he hd grown up in kenya. 50% of young people cannot speak their native language because of culture mix not as a result of western influence. At the current rate, native languages will be wiped out. |
Kenya. Our supply source are the DAMS and they always function at full capacity.Except there is very bad weather and the water levels go down. That may or may not happen and if it does it could be once a year. It has been years since I saw a generator in anybody's house because we don't really need them. Hotels with generators on standby have them placed underground. If lights ever go off, there is usually some work being carried out on the transformers and they MUST give notice on the dailies otherwise they can be sued should anything go wrong. If it's an emergency like a transformer blowing or an accident then they are excused. I really don't understand how a city with industries and companies that rely on electricity 100% can function with persistent shortages. So many things would go wrong and the stakeholders would raise a storm. I can't stay 24 hrs!! without electricity cz I would go mad.How. Infact the biggest complainant would be the goverment itself so they try hard not to let it happen. The only issue citizens have is the high cost of electricity. Most kenyans prefer solar as an alternative source esp in the rural areas. |
funny flash u share my taste.hillsongs, don moen ,i love bob fitts. ok they r many. |
I always make it clear from the word go that am not a phone addict. Honestly I dislike persistent phone calls as they drive me crazy even if they are from my the person I love most. To save the situation,I spend as much time as possible on one call. Talk all I have in my heart for hours till I have nothing else to talk about. Now that kind of talk can keep me going 4 a week and I cherish it,even if I don't hear from the other party. Then next time we talk,I have a weekload of stuff to share.Very interesting as I always look forward to it. In between we exchange mails, send a text here or there such. But I prefer having something new and fresh to talk about whenever I call not just hi hi. |
saintneo2: this guy is really 92years old not 29 years old; he must be the avatar the last air bender. omg.I broke my ribs. I wasn't laughing until I read that!.What is beating out pin? |
shymexx: Can't you see your question is oxymoronic?? don't be mean.oxymoronic it is cz she has painted this image which made me think of evolution and man's early behaviour.but a graduate? surely there must be some positive developments in his mind waiting for the right moment and person to awaken them. on second thoughts maybe not. some people are just too difficult to change. can't advice u to leave him cz i dont know him. |
@pweery just 2 simple questions I would appreciate your answer. 1.What do u guys talk about when you are out on date? What does he/you enjoy talking about? past/present/future/progress or all? 2.Does he embrace technology seeing he's a graduate? |
Yes Nairobi is a beautiful place to be, with a nice weather its a big slap on Nigeria's face to watch kenya moving in such jet rate! When i went to kenya i use to live in westlands very beautiful, is just like europe
you lived in westie? I used to work there and true it's a city on its own.If you visit now you will sure get lost.Lots of developments. It's Very expensive though and full of wow clubs. So many other cool areas like upperhill too.Infact upperhill can easily overtake nbo if there was enough space. So many corporates have built their HQ in upperhill making the place looks very classy. I think when it comes to Real estate,Kenya is trying to break records.I am shocked everyday at the amazing housing developments happening in various areas and each estate competes in design and infrastructure. najivunia. |
ish gallivant. I saw u taking photos. I used this road yesterday from mt.kenya. now i miss The chinese are doing the flyovers themselves. That highway is beautiful esp when ur leaving the city. |
Eish! this is lovely but funny too. ![]() |
