If you are a guy, then your problem is solved.

keep eating what you eat. Just reduce it by a little amount then stop drinking Coke and all those drinks. Stay away from chocolate and ice cream. This alone if done will drop you by 3-5 pounds in a month. If you want better results do this :

Go to the gym and lift weights. LIFT HEAVY. don't listen to all the people that tell you to perform so many reps.
Do bench presses and use weights that you can only lift for a maximum of 5-6 times. Try increase the weights every 4 weeks or so.

You would build more muscle which will ensure a higher metabolism and will turn your body into a fat buster. Trust me, this is the way to go.
Don't waste your time running for 1hr everyday. You will only end up eating more and it easily gets boring.

Most houses that are not/have not sank paid so much to avoid it. Some are still going to sink. They just built them so wait till after 4yrs.

I have more than enough proof.
A perferct example is the almighty VGC. Despite the sandfilling and proper preparation done by HFP, there are incidences of house sinking and water accumulation.
There is a house which is virtually sinking right now and only time will tell. If you don't believe me, i will give you the exact road and plot number to check for yourself. This house was one of the first to be built. It started sinking after like 4yrs it was built. Most people learnt from this house and had to pay almost FOUR times the expected amount to build their homes.

I know for sure that this is not a scam. I don't expect any plot to be 300,000 naira. I am only saying you can call something like this awwoof or cheap If and only IF it is as cheap as 300,000. With 1.5million you can get land in Ikorodu and still have change to start building your land without having to spend a fortune.

My point is that LEKKI/Beach side is not for the poor so don't make them see this as a deal because they will not be able to afford the long term costs.

i remember in 2004, when i had an interview. i left home at least an hour early. the taxi i took broke down on the bridge. i had to enter another. it started raining. the traffic was held up to blazes. i hopped on an okada, made it to my interview.

i would never have gotten there on time if not for okadas. all your noise about planning and leaving early is just noise.

if you really want to go on about risking your life, then u better stay at home. everyday i put my life in danger when i drive to or from work - trigger happy policemen, trailer drivers, area boys - the list does not end. okadas are just part of it.

all one can do is cope with it while planning/hoping for a change in personal circumstances that will reduce one's need to utilize them.

Lagos has had traffic issues long before the high number of Okadas. People made it to Interviews when there were no Okada's
I find it funny that anyone would risk their life and get on Okada. Maybe it is just me sha. I will never get on an okada for any reason. I have seen too many people die on highways and several others crippled becuase of okadas for me to be that ignorant.

Riding an Okada puts your life in danger 80% of the time. Most okada riders have been involved in one accident or the other but they choose to continue until the day they get a FATAL accident.

I don't live in Calabar so i will use lagos as my example.
90% of Okada riders we have in lagos today are either from niger republic,mali, senegal or the northern part of nigeria. (Don't be fooled, they are not all hausa. most of them are foreigners). They troop in everyday into Lagos because their kinsmen have alerted them that anyone can enter Lagos today and start riding an Okada the next day to make money. Commercia bike riding is unnacceptable to society. People die everyday on Lekki-epe expressway due to Okada.Hospitals are filled with Okada victims. There is no form of training that we prevent the kind of deaths we get on these roads. Why should several commercial bikes be on highways that have vehicles moving at over 100km/hr?
Personal bikes on the other hand are acceptable because you don't have as many so the accident ration will be reduced.

Okada's should be banned from all highways and restrained to ONLY STREETS. They should be banned for the tricycles or keke Napep that are safer.
With regards to the jobs, abegi, these people had other things they were doing before they trooped into okada business because it is open for all.

There is no bitter truth anywhere. I believe the II-20 gives a ball park value as to expected expenses. People who get to the U.S and complain probably had no intention of going to school in the first place. How can a "literate" secondary school/university graduate expect to pay the exorhbitant fees via part time jobs. You would have to be a real DULLARD to think that. The estimated yearly expenses for my uni is $45,000. If i didn't get a scholarship, then yankee would be a no go for me.!!

The ban on imports is temporary. It is to help the transitioning phase. They don't want the oil majors to just hold people at ransome without any starting field. Currently the NNPC has imported and stored more than enough for 40 days. I believe they will sell to marketers who will in turn sell to consumers at different rates based on their operating costs (transport and blah blah). After this, the floor will be opened whereby they can import and sell directly.
