I am good at my job. So good that I won the best staff award in my first year. I got privileges that people who have worked for years didn't get. When mgt. changed and many things turned awry, I was discouraged. I don't perform as excellently anymore. I still got it in me but I'm not motivated. My husband still motivates me otherwise it'll be worse.

We were four girls in a big room. Very spacious we don't really get in each other's way. I'm the only Yoruba girl in their midst. The rest are Igbo and Calabar. We were in the same department. Till tomorrow, they're wonderful people. Even when people said we will fight because we're girls, we never did. We watched out for each other, we never haggle over who will do the house chores. Everyone just pick a task to do and we do it. We don't cook together all the time but we eat each other's food. We may have 4 different kinds of soup at once but you are absolutely at liberty to eat any soup of your choice.

There's one among them that I'm closer to than the rest of them. At a point, I don't take foodstuff or anything like that to school anymore. She buys the foodstuff with all her money while I bring raw cash for us to spend. We eat her food together, the two of us and I in turn pay for anything we need to buy, handout or whatever, for the both of us.

All of them shield me from boys. Like mother hen, they think I'm too naive and stupid and may fall a victim cause I was the youngest. They're great girls.

It's been years but we still keep in touch, all 4 of us.

It's not unheard of that a woman is older in a relationship. It's also not unheard of that the woman is richer.
Would you lose a good woman for these reasons?

You know her, we don't. One month in my opinion is too short a time to know one. You said she's decent and respectful, even with her affluence and influence, it's probably due to the fact that she needs a partner desperately. Or she could be genuinely decent and humble...no one can tell.

You are not doing badly yourself financially and you seem decent enough not to have taken advantage of her condition to milk her dry; to her, you are a husband material 100 yards.

The reality is this. Too many variables cannot be verified due to human nature that's unpredictable and time factor which is so short and inadequate here. You can go ahead since you are not a leech that will live off her, but a day is coming that she will splurge about her being your destiny helper. That should not be a big deal to you, somebody has been destined to help someone. If you can live with that, then it's fine.

Just make sure you don't relegate yourself to the background, up your ante, find out about her family too, it's important before you commit. I wish you good luck.

My husband is caring.
He pampers me to a fault.
I think he loves me more than anything or anyone else (including the kids)
He provides for his family, I help out too financially but he does his best.
He extends his resources to both families too.
He prompts me about spiritual things, more spiritual than me actually.
He knows about EVERY department of the house more than I do. In fact, this is his best strength.
He gets things done promptly.

He is a responsible husband. I wish he'd worry less at times.
