I have been receiving their messages and always ignore. Something just told me the offer is too good to be true, how can 50k daily just fall on my plate without struggling for it?; It calls for caution. I'm not desperate, I get my work, plus my husband dey there na. There's nothing these scammers will not do, I've been lucky with them anyway. Thank you for sharing this info so more people can be aware of their treachery. |
Groovedaddy:Why will you see road and choose to enter bush? Bros you can read na. She never said submit to women. She said you should respect women too. Respect is reciprocal Ogbeni! I am not a feminist. I don't want any man to submit to me. A man is the head of the family. He deserves submission and respect as the leader. Now, he should not deny me my respect too. We owe each other that. A man doesn't get lesser when he respects his wife rather, it shows strength of character. |
tuoyoojo:Well for saying sake, in my part of Lagos, power generation increased and is a lot more stable during this Buhari regime. There are periods of power outages though but for shorter hours, you can predict the hours and plan your electricity activities within the schedule. |
noble2faith:Afenifere! Truly it will be more than nice if we could lift that trophy again. |
dfrost: ![]() Nibo la tun jasi bayi o? Some people are organizing a prayer and fasting session for Man U. Even Innoson dey follow shade Man U. Oga o! |
fadilaMaikiriki:Stop it right there! What do you mean you don't know what to believe? Didn't you go to school? You have a smart phone, don't you? You've never heard about google? Rubbish! This generation and the inability to read! When I had cervical ectopic pregnancy, before the doctors told me what treatment they're gonna administer, I already know. I just read on their diagnosis. We were walking together all through the journey, surgery and all, and they told me they like handling informed patients like me, it makes their work easier. Somebody told you one humudus nonsense you're here freaking out, people like you are easy preys to fraudsters. Get your ass out and go figure! https://www.healthline.com/health/womens-health/menstrual-clots#what's-normal |
Don't bother with me, I'm married. |
Realtalk20:You know in your heart of hearts, from the innermost core of your heart, that this is NOT true. If this were true, gbogbo Omo Igbo a ti f'Eko le tipe! |
Praxis758:When somebody is your tormentor, unbeknownst to you, you just ascribe all kinds of power to him. He becomes a grandiose image you are in awe of. Na Tinubu matter go end some people ![]() |
Massiveglory:Regardless Obasanjo will cast only one vote. |
cayorday89:For me, you'd believe if I tell you I'm the CEO of an oil and gas company but, na my husband dey help me o! ![]() |
Justdare:You are not a pretender like the other ones. Thumbs up. |
Islandlady:You wondered at his comment? I did too. Many men here are biased-minded. As at the time of this my comment, your post had 17 likes, his had 56. That's to further tell you that they're unrepentant chauvinistic nincompoops. Cheating men everywhere! |
Before I opened this thread I just know it's gonna be a YEastern or Ipobian. Thank you Chukwudi for not disappointing. Keep repping your clan. |

kenzysmith:Joachim Loew bawo? Trust Pep Guardiola, he's better. |
MrJames007:Hmmmn! You don't know anything. Don't judge people by their looks o. Some of us are just blessed in that aspect. If you see me, you'd think I can buy the whole Nairaland but for where? Na only body o, engine don knock tey tey. |
Ninisun:I've moved on from this, so no comment. |
Ninisun:Some people here, including you, can be soooooooo damn rude! Why do you keep bringing my mum into this issue? You did it the first time, I ignored you. This just sums up your character that you lack the savviness to hold an intelligible conversation without casting aspersions on people unnecessarily. You must be a progeny of an uncouth matriarchal figure. Iru iro n borun! Radarada! |
Ninisun:Whatever you learnt and is negative, can be unlearned. Don't be obnoxiously rigid! |
Kobojunkie:Don't mind him. Some men, you would tell them like an advice between friends, you will argue it like lawyers, you will nag like a wife, you will turn their issue to prayer point, you will call family to intervene, pastor too, still they won't change. When you now summon courage to finally face your battle head-on, somebody is suggesting trash, need which husband? I'm happy for the woman. She can sleep now and enjoy sweet dreams. Some men, you'd constantly fear and worry over them like they're toddlers. Mtcheeew! |
Only a "thickskinned" mammal can survive on Nairaland. We know ourselves. My bet is you know already if you have been watching from the sidelines like you claimed. Welcome on board Enitanmii. Enjoy your voyage! |
OKOATA:I took a second look at the woman's face, honestly she's not that bad. She's not even old but I agree with you, that wrapper ehn! Me, I don't even have one single wrapper like that. Sometimes I look at myself and ask, "Girl, you dey sure you don marry so? " A woman should give her man a reason to always want her. |
Childhood? Hmmmn! No Voltron, no Freekazoid, no G-force, no Super Ted and Sporty, no Mickey mouse, no Robocop, no Spiderman, no Rent-a-Ghost, no Telematch? No, Please. This is not my childhood. |
CuteEmma:You're not everybody. They do forgive. Social media is a public space where people come to post all kinda story - good, bad, ugly. Forget, lotta shit happen in real life that's totally unconnected to social media life! |
I was there a long time ago. That should be when I was 12 or so. Then it wasn't for a program organised by the Redeem Church. It was my own church National Youth Camp. Because it was a national camp, and all the youth members from the entire country would be coming, our own permanent camp ground in Lagos wasn't big enough hence the need to rent the place. I remember a very big hall with benches as seats, the floor wasn't cemented, just sand, then there wasn't any building, it was just a shed - iron roofing sheets covering stakes, and a raised platform as the pulpit area. I remember our hostels were buildings half done, blocks not cemented yet, there were even no windows just like your typical Jakande secondary schools. For that reason, mosquitoes and ticks almost finished my ajebutter skin. My mum had to buy a medicated soap for me when we returned, big sis and I. Since then I've never been to the RCCG camp ground. Only watch and follow their programs on TV. God bless Papa Adeboye and the church. |
Staphylococcus:No mind them. No be only Obi, na kererenke! Radarada! |
ebubeson:My church will never take away those from their sermon list. We're old school to some people but we're who we are. ECWA - Evangelical Church Winning All |
JackDaAlienz:Only appendix surgery? Well, I guess you are lucky. The thick, long, straight line drawn in my tummy from the appendix surgery I had several years ago remained indelible. I had complications during pregnancy and did 3 surgeries straight up within 2 months. I was booked for a fourth, my husband refused and we sought alternative therapy. Then came the constant check-ups. Now, do you still call that "any small thing?" If you haven't walked in a man's shoes, don't judge him. |
Like you OP, some doctors too cannot hold themselves despite the fact that they've seen orisirisi in their life. One saw only laps o and was misbehaving. I don't like to have health issues cause one of the things I hate most is having to bare it all to these doctors. Any small thing, they'll say come climb examination bed, then tell you, Open Sesame. Just that one cannot totally avoid it as a woman in child bearing age. One asked for my number when he saw clean clear that this is a married woman. But the one I'll never forgive among them is one crazy, old doctor. He should be about 60 then or more and he took advantage of my innocence and naivety to touch me inappropriately. I was in my teens and really innocent. Used to have serious cramps during my cycle. That was the complain, then he started his madness so much that he was shaking like jelly fish. I was too young to understand what was going on, woulda slapped the idiot. I only realised years later what he was doing to me. Agbaaya! OP, the government doesn't take it lightly with sexual offenders these days. Go ask Baba Ijesha. If they catch you, awo rele ni o! |
