The problem still dey 0! I was only able to log on right now by bypassing the home page and going straight to the links. eg to get tho this thread, I had to type in https://www.nairaland.com/recent on the address bar. Typing www.nairaland.com takes you either a p.orno site (for non chrome browsers) or to my.naji.com (Chrome users) |

wow! this is a very touching thread. and I'm just seeing it for the first time. if you have any issue relating to the managemnt of AIDS felel free to post |
Is it for you or someone else ![]() |
At this point, researchers are far from saying these patients are cured.I guess you missed this part, yeye. However, I will concede that there are exiting prospects regarding the possible cure of AIDS. The functional cure, alluded to in the article, is the most promising and it simply means that the virus still remains in body, but no longer pose a threat even if therapy is discontinued. What we must understand is that most of the conventional ARVs being used only target viruses that are actively replicating. This means if the virus lies quietly without replicating somewhere in the body (called the latent pool) the drugs will have no effect on them. |
Sinachmalin: So wetin doctors and med. Lab scientist wan do wit their house manship and house job?Its part of their training as embedded in their curriculum. It clearly states what every doctor (housemanship in thier case), pharmacist, lab scientist, radiologist will be doing doing the period of their internship. In the case of nurses that is yet to be seen. You all just want to join the 'bandwangon' as it were because of the little change that comes along. harsh but tru |
I propose the mods start dealing with these fktards that litter threads with their inane ''how/why did this make front page comments.'' it is becoming really annoyig. If its of no interest to you, IGNORE IT! simple. if by mistake you clicked the thread, you can always exit. |
All those people advocating ''parking the car and taking a quick nap'', what if you find yourself in a lonely highway? or dangerous spot? IF I ever have to go on a long journey, I ensure I have enough rest. If it was a night program, eg vigil service, wake keep, why not sleep at the venue then when you can hit the road the following morining, rather than endanger the lifes of others on the road. |
Na wa O!!!! see revelations! Na only God dey save person for road then! |
this is good news |
and yes there may be issues regarding his eyesight. |
tpia@:there's nothing daft about the question, quit being silly @OP, very interesting observation. It most likely have to do with their inability to withstand direct sunlight. Don't forget that physical endurance is one of the criteria for getting enrolled in the armed forces. |
wetin una wan carry internship do?? |
He opined that Nigerians have embraced the ‘fad’ in order to help them keep awake whilst being ignorant to the internal damages the drinks cause.Baseless, unfounded statements coming from someone of his stature is very disappointing. There is no proof of the this. While speaking as a guest on Channels Television’s breakfast programme, Sunrise Daily, Dr. Oke said energy drinks have been able to penetrate the Nigerian market are treated as beverages which is why it does not go through rigorous and extensive research by National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC).Far more advanced regulatory bodies have done numerous, rigorous tests on energy drinks, but have not found anything wrong - when taken responsibly, of course. |
pictures please, that's the only way I can be of assistance |
Thank God for your life! |
billante: Enugu state govt is dualizing its end, Ebonyi shld do same for their own end and collect refund from FG!True talk. Although its actually a renovation of the road, and not dualization. Kudo's to Chime. I really don't know what Elechi's problem is and why he can toe the line of his Enugu counterpart. Its an embarrassed that that road which is a major gateway to the Abakaliki should be in such a deplorable state. ![]() |
The alleged agreement only exists inOya Aliyu, come and defend yourself! |
kenis: They should do something about this road: Enugu - Makurdi expressway i.e. 9th mile - Makurdi road.I ply that road frequently and can say for a fact that a majority of the accidents are due to reckless driving. Especially the commercial transporters, Peace et al. Overtaking at bends, speeds in excess of 140km/hr are common occurrences. I sometimes wonder what they smoke before going behind the wheels. I don't know if you may be aware of just how bad that road used to be before the renovation. Then accidents were not this frequent. |
After identiffication, what nest? mob action? ![]() |
billante: Dual carriage all the way....abuja to lokoja....lokoja to benin...benin to onitsha....onitsha to enugu....enugu to port harcourt! Can they all be completed before d end of dis tenure!@BOLDED, I agree considerable progress has been achieved on that stretch, especially the Awka - Onitsha part of it. The Enugu-awka was more of patch work. FG should also do something about Enugu - Abakaliki road. That road has been a nightmare to users. |
american specs ususally have thier speedometers in miles while Japansese uusually in kilometers |
Most of those foreign missions are, like their civil service counterparts back home, over bloated, largely unessential, cash guzzling bureaucracies. many of such missions should be closed and/or downsized. |
To thier credit, Nimet has been quite accurate in their recent predictions. take that of last year for instance. I remember quite clearly how, about this time last year, they warned that the rain of the year would be greater than what we've experienced in quite a while. But trust our govt, it was not until floods had swept away thousands if not millioons of homes that they began to engage in panic measures. |
Nigerians like phocking too much. that's the problem. |
