treesun:When GEJ wanted to remove this, u all fought him. He also introduced the card reader. Man was really interested in fixing many shits. Una bring Buhari, dragged the country backward. |
YinkaOlusesi16:Which is his evil agender? Do u ever in ur imagination think that a CBN governor could act that way without the approval of the president? There is no way he could have done that if Buhari didn't tell him to. Abeg |
muykem:What u are simply saying is that we should pass a law to stop non indigenes from voting in state elections. I think that is the best way becus how do u tell people who to vote and not to vote for? Omo, how some blacks reason dey shock me. The only way out of this is simply tell Nigeria federal govt to enact a law to forbid non indigines from voting in states election aside their own state. This to me is the best. Becus as long as non indegines are allowed to cast votes in another state, how exactly do u want to tell them, dont vote for A o, vote for B o? Does it sound logically okay? The only reason Lagos was a case was becus Lagos is the center of commerce for Nigeria just like we have in every country. There is always a major city of commerce and people dont really care much about tribe there. To fix issues like this: Nigeria has two options: One, go fully into regional based system so that every region elects their own indegines only in local elections and only indegines can vote in such elections. Also, regions should manage their resources, rivers, railway, police, economy, airspace with some restrictions, etc. The second option is to completely ban non indigenes from voting in any state aside Federal elective posts. This second option wont fly becus the way Nigeria is structured has made Lagos mainly attractive to Nigerians as the commercial center. The first option is the best. And I really encourage Yorubas to push for this. This will make them have complete control of their lagos. This way too, other regions can have control of their own regions and their resources. If we fail to do this, it wont work and this can cause crises. Honestly, it can. |
Zxcvbnmghtr:How u guys sit down and make up statistics beat my imagination. So, right now, 95% of Nigerians now support it? |
Parachoko:So, why did they occupy Nigeria when GEJ wanted to do same? They are scared of what they did to GEJ from happening to them, right? Bunch of liars! |
NOETHNICITY:Nope, that AMerica did it doesnt make it right. No wonder he was voted out. Presidency is not a family business. The constitution made provision for Ministers who are to be elected by the president and screened by the national assembly. The wife of the president is not screened or nominated and not in the constitution. Make we no dey copy mumu things. There are many beautiful side of AMerica to copy such as their true federalism, science, true independence of the arms of govt, good roads, etc. No be only gay, same sex, feminism and mumu things Trump did that we should copy. As usual, Nigerians dont copy good things ![]() |
Nahunger:She is not an elected official. It is not a family meeting! It is of big importance so as to avoid the president becoming a family affairs. We know how to abuse power in Africa. |
HacheNoire:He is a billionaire and that is what they are called and they are on same class. If they call billionaires now, all of them who are billionaires would come out. A man who could build such empire tried. |
senatordave1:Immediately we take away power from those ruling class, we have solved lot of our political problems. The current system simply means, loot enough money, use the money to buy power back. This doesnt fix anything. But if we had sent a strong message by pushing away the strong ruling class, even Obi would be scared to mess up because he knows that he would be thrown out by the same people who elected him. If we must get Nigeria to work, we must fix our electoral system so that those manual collation of results would stop, people wont need to bribe their ways to power, na that time u go see magic. Europe got fixed becus the people of Europe dont take nonsense from their ruling class and the ruling class knows that a mess up, they would be sent out of office. The true democracy starts when the policians start to be scared of the masses. |
HacheNoire:Peter Obi is a billionaire with proper track records. He is in class of Dangote them. Forget politics, baba has run successful outfits |
LeoDeKing:My brother, u like politicians o, u dont like them o, it doesnt stop u from hearing the sound of generator sets in Nigeria every nights. Like I always say, the average black man cares and worships his slave masters more than his own life. I do laugh when people say that they are peppering Obi supporters, but na all of us dey suffer the fuel matter. The point is if u are not among the political elites, u arent among the security staff elites, u arent super rich with some level of authority, u are simply a sufferhead. I have seen on my fb lots of people who were doing pepper body, they are now lamenting just the way Obi supporters were lamenting. These politicians no send u. Their kids are living ur dream life ![]() Some of us just wanted a political system where anyone no mattter ur lack of connection can win. A politcal system that elections are purely out of manual collations and manipulations. Once we get that, we can begin to have a Nigeria with stable electricity at least. I remember one guy who fought me so hard on social media. He is now lamenting heavily, I replied one of his posts on fb and reminded him that, u see, I am a software developer and I work for clients abroad from here, I earn in $$, I have full solar running in my flat, I dont use fuel at home, I only need fuel for my car and I work from home. This means that I simply drive out only when I want to have fun, chill and see em ladies. I said, unlike u, u are now suffering the fuel matter, the heat, the queue, etc. At the end, I said, u see why some of us wanted a Nigeria where elections are won purely based on proper electoral system, not this one they were using pen and biro to add and subtract numbers, INEC staff intentionally not coming to their locations on time, results collated manually around mid night ![]() No, we want an electoral system purely based electronical means where we can see live and instantly, a direct candidate participation to elimiate dirty political primaries, etc. If Nigeria works where we all have electricity without solar or generator, we all go enjoy am. He lamented of long fuel queue. I said this is how every negative policies affects the common man, if u have no strong resources or u earn poorly in naira, u are finished. He became humble. So, no matter who u mock, I hope u are among the ruling class, or ruling elites or very rich. Make e no be sey na small small change u dey see o |
KingAzubuike:Him no chop but enabled people to chop. I learnt of one of his relatives who is now super rich and young ![]() |
9jatriot:It is used by politicians to control and divide the masses. Works well around the world. It was why Europeans carefully planned their borders along ethnic lines to avoid issues like this which usually hinders national growth. Imagine English people and French people in one country under one unitary rule. They will never make progress becus they will always be fighting. This is one sense the africans have refused to get. Replan ur borders according to ur tribal lines and form more of a willfully merger than whhat the Europeans did back then for the continent. But the politicians here wont do it becus they use that as a leverage over the people. |
Racoon:My brother, na follow come for blacks o. we no be humans at all. One sense we no get. This man them supposed to chase out of his village. I cant imagine the number of Nigerians who were kidnapped, raped, killed under his tenure. And we witnessed highest level of Nigerians running out of the country. |
Nazgul:Even those who married late still collapse. Baba, this thing no get format! |
Kobojunkie:That is why we are saying, we wont also marry women who wish to come in, to claim what we hustled to build all in the name of she made impact in my life. How? Didnt I also make impact in her life? There is nothing to whine about. That law is for the weak. Any ways, thank goodness for many ways to own one's property shaaa ![]() We are for equal rights. Women must work and contribute financially to share from the gain ![]() |
Kobojunkie:Can u now see the double standard? The so called law was made, but ur gender will never want to marry a man who has no source of income while she has a source of income. They all want to marry a man who is financially secured. Then contribute by so called impact in his life and claim property? I can never stop my wife from working or running business. She is free to buy whatever she wishes to buy in her name or joint name if we both jointly buy it. As long as she makes her contributions financially running the home too. No wahala |
wirinet:In this same country where ladies dont even want to marry a man who earns 30k as salary, where on earth will u find a Nigerian lady who wants to marry a man who does nothing or brings very unreliable source of income for marriage? Whereeeeeeeee? |
Kobojunkie:Becus women arent playing such! How many of the ladies u know agress to marry a man who stays at home or does very little stuff financially? |
wirinet:Surely, now u are talking! We have to wait until when women would accept this. For now, no one shares a dime from what they didnt contribute to. We talk as if men dont also contrubute in raising kids ![]() A lot of homes have house helps who do cleaning and cooking! The woman must contribute money to any property she claims for |
Kobojunkie:But I will also add value to her life while she works na |
Kobojunkie:Oh, so it is wrong for me to do nothing and probably stay at home and raise kids or run one business that I keep failing in while my wife works her ass out, then, I divorce her after 10 years and claim partnership of her sweat, right? |
Kobojunkie:i will marry, she can go and work, let me do nothing then and inherit her sweat! |
Kobojunkie:That is pure rubbish. I would rather hire a house help which is cheaper and ensure that my wife has no claim to my properties except she contributed to it. The few properties i have bought now, I know how hard it was to get them. No body can black mail me. Many ladies in Nigeria, u even give them capital to start up business, they will ruine it. Rubbish |
FreeStuffsNG:It cant work. So, I worked hard, gather properties, my wife decides to cheat or quit marriage and claim ownership of the said property that I worked for? Rubbish! She should claim such ownership if she also contributed to the purchase of such property |
kettykings:which area of high patronage? The cars u buy from Europe, how many of them do u have their plans in Nigeria? baba, he can and should remain where he is and keep producing. He already supply cars to other countries. |
Zionmdde:This is what I always say. I always laugh how some people who even sleep under serious heat due to lack of electricity laugh at others becus their choice candidate won election. ![]() Normally, blacks mumu shaa |
Zico5:But Nigeria has not succeeded after 60 years and still wont succeed ![]() Like this now, na my solar for flat I dey use. No electricity in a state capital after 60 years of so called presidency ![]() |
sonature1:what of all these Americans who are moving out of America and live in Ghana for instance? At least, I work for a US company that helps African Americans tour and I see these people leaving! Infact, I would quote this thread to upload one video I did recently of two sisters who are Americans and relocated to Ghana and are so happy. There lots of them so far for the past two years I have been working for this company. What could make people leave the so called opportunities of their home land to live in a shithole as foriegner? |
lhordspy:U are the most hilarious human on earth. We should be talking about what can enhance the credibility of election in Nigeria in 21 centuary and u are talking something else. All serious countries now do presidential and even regional debates. It is not about sentiment, it is about deliberately doing what is proper to enhance the credibility of naija election. LP was never a force in naija presidential election. I dont like people who lie to them selves. Has LP ever come third before in presidential election or pulled such figure before? He did this under few months, he was a wave and still a wave. U are decieveing ur self. He even pulled more votes in Edo state which is not a south eastern state. He was loved by many people from east, south south and north central. I couldnt count how many people from Kongi, Benue, Akwa Ibom, who were over interested in him! LP has no agents in many polling units. And we are talking aboiut doing what is right! Serious countries are transmitting results electronically and instantly which enhances the credibility of elections. Even in ur heart u know that this is fact. So, why are u lying to ur self? Arent we supposed to do away with manual collation of results at this stage of our democracy? Why should we still be having electoral results with pen and some sheets with canceled figures and rewritten figures? If u have a company, wont u like to deploy means to help to run ur company in a way to avoid others cheating u? How u simply rush to say anyone who supports Obi is from south east. My godnesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss, what type of humans are on this forum? |
lhordspy:Mumu talk. For a person who brought a party not known to become a third force under few months to an election is a strong deal. And APC attested to it. He brought a different dynamics to the election. U are just been unreasonable. And elections were rigged! People were intimidated and results forged. In 21 century, Nigerians still debbating if to grant presidential debate, if results should be transmittted electronically. These are factors that affect election credibility. INEC officials deliberately arriving late to frustarte voters, results spending days to be collated, these are all factors and with all of these factors, he pulled 6 million votes within such a short period of time. Yes, he is a wave. |
Maize247:Those who made the law never knew it would be like this! U see, laws sometimes can be unreasonable. This matter strong. The constitution maybe amended to fix it but for now, it holds Tinubu strongly |
