Hi all, I just deployed my first ever attempt at building a MERN stack application called Carfaxt, it is a car booking application for a fictitious car rental firm which aims to provide the firm with an online presence and also allow users select from the available list of rentals, make payment and have the rental delivered to their doorstep.
On the frontend aspect, I used Tailwind CSS for the styling, Material UI for the select input element, Swiper Js for the carousels and the redux library for state management. The user registration and authentication was done using JSON Web Token. On the backend, Bcrypt js was used for hashing of the user passwords. I deployed the Node backend on Heroku, The database on MongoDb's atlas and the React frontend on Netlify.

I have observed that males in their late thirties and early forties can easily say NO to sex.

As in, they may interact with females and do not think of sleeping with her.

Even if the lady is very beautiful and wants sex with the man, he can easily refuse or delay it. And the surprising thing is that they have more opportunities to sleep with women,

People in late thirties and early forties tends to be more focused and self fulfilled, and tend to discover that Sex is not that important.


I don't mean those who are chronic sex addict. I am talking about a normal somebody.

(As in, those males who are chronic sex addict, even if they are 100 years, they can still rape their great grand daughters to satisfy themselves. So I am not talking about those kind of males.)

Well, No.

Reasons:

1. I hate JS. Although I can tolerate TS but I find JS/TS ecosystem to be such a poison. Not having to deal with node modules is one joy I can't give up.
Dart is such a beautiful language. You get very good intellisense by default, you can optionally use typing or not(I also type though), The docs are inbuilt for almost every method, function and variable, simple just hover over what you want docs for... and the docs are so good!
I say this even though I write TS and Dart code everyday at work because of Firebase cloud functions


2. The Flutter ecosytem. We have state management wars and navigation wars but overall it is a blissful community. The Flutter/Dart team are awesome and make this Flutter mascot videos which are great, and the Youtube channel is a bliss. Using Flutter is overall not just because of the Renderer and performance. If the ecosystem was terrible, Flutter would never have succeeded as it has

Las las, whatever pays the bills is determines the switch. If jobs for flutter starts declining, I would have to switch but if they both have same market shares then I will stick with flutter for the overall experience.

PS: I have only built a basic todo app with RN so this is quite a biased opinion

Most web hosting plans come with SSL certificates added to the package. Just message your web hosting company to correct the issue.

It still redirects to https//: but since the SSL certificate has expired, it keeps showing insecured.

Or you buy an SSL certificate to add yourself.

Do you still hold the same opinion you posited here https://okeowoaderemi.com/articles/posts/wordpress-to-processwire-a-guide-for-developers/ 7 years ago? I think WP has proven with time it is the best CMS, and with the best user and developer communities too across the internet.


P.S: You should consider fixing your SSL or changing the certificate. It keeps showing Error 404 or privacy issues.

U guys should stop painting betting as an abominable act.
One problem u guys fail to understand about betting is
1. Don't take betting as an alternative means of survival
2. Bet wit what u can afford to loss. E. G. Let's say, weekends, if u are d type that spends maybe 5k for faji (5k depending on individual capability) that's spare money, u can bet wit some part of it, not using your transport and feeding money for d week to bet.
3. Never bet all d time but guys won't listen, they always bet every blessed day which is very very wrong.
In all, to me betting is fun.

I'm upskilling to branch into Dev to earn big bucks from remote firms/Freelance.
Major barrier as a data person for remote gigs is using your battered reputation as a Nigerian to get a firm to trust you with sensitive data.
