Biot34: Good evening gurus I'm to reapply this week pls how can I tackle or write a letter of explanation on these problems below. Pls help me"I have reviewed the application. Based on the *financial documents submitted*, the Applicant appears to have a *moderate level of establishment* in their country of residence, and as a consequence, this visit does not appear to be a reasonable expense. in addition, *I have therefore accorded less weight to the applicant's economic ties*. The applicant's *purpose of visit appears vague* and poorly documented. The applicant's prior travel history is insufficient to count as a positive factor in my assessment. Weighing the factors in this application, I am not satisfied that the applicant will depart Canada at the end of the period authorized for their stay. For the reasons above, I have refused this application." The VO raised 6 different reasons to why your application was refused. You need more tham just a letter of explanation to deal with your refusal. You have to reevaluate your application starting from proving your economic ties to Nigeria(I have a detailed post where I spoke about documents you can use to this effect). The VO stated a poorly written study plan, which means you have to reconstruct a new sop. P.s: I don't see why you need to rush another application. Economic ties alone is something to take your time on. You can always defer your admission and take your time to get the relevant informations you need. An extract from my previous posts to prove your economic ties.
1. TAX CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE: When last did you pay company tax. You write about how passionate you are about your country in your sop but can't provide a tax certificate. This single most important document proves to a vo you have a company that is well ingrained in Nigeria. 2. TIN registration: It is important to get a tax identification number and scan the letter confirming your TIN number in your application. 3. Car ownership certificate: yes scan the certificate showing you ownership of your vehicle. Most especially if you have a nice ride. This shows a VO that you are doing ok in Nigeria. 4. Work assets & Machineries: Perhaps you purchased an asset from china a few years back for your company and still have the receipt you can scan snd present it in a coherent way. You don't want to confuse a vo because the next thing is some generic refusal hence order gcms note. 5. Proof of past/future contracts: Have you executed some contracts in the past (1-5yrs) you can include this. If you also have some contracts coming up you can include proof. 6. Reference letters: You can have certified and verified companies you've worked with in the past write you reference letters to show your prudence. 7. Regulatory bodies Certificates : Every industry in Nigeria is regulated by a designated party. It is important to be certified by these bodies. Presenting proof of this certification will strengthen your application. |

Darasimis: Good Day everyone, I just discovered this thread and found it to be amazing.
I was denied study visa few months ago based on purpose of visit only. I just received my GCMS from IRCC. The VO final comment on the last page stated that " The applicant study plan appears vague and poorly documented. The applicant does not sufficiently established that the proposed studies would be a reasonable expenses"
I planned to study child and youth care (two years diploma). I stated in my SOP that i would setup youth care center in Nigeria after my study.
Please i need insight on how to tackle the VO concern in my next application. Your gcms was pretty much straightforward. 1. You need a comprehensive study plan explaining why you need the program to establish your organisation in Nigeria. 2. Also getting supporting documents to back up your claim is essential. 3. You also need a letter of explanation to explain the newly introduced supporting documents and how they help clarify your previous refusal clauses. |

Millalorinzzz: Hi everyone I am 23 years, is it possible for me to get an undergraduate degree visa I already have a b.a degree but with 2.2, so I am considering the possibility of getting another undergraduate degree visa I left secondary school 2012, is the gap not too much for the V.O to frown at since I will not be declaring my first degree in my application Pls I await responses Thanks They say no dream is to big. And your age shouldn't stop you from aiming high in life. But with the current difficulty level of obtaining a study Visa you need a convincing sop and a strong reason to why you need that bsc. Plus your documents needs to be equally convincing.... P.s: You need to account for your study gaps. That is very important. I know you'll be advised to go for a diploma program but if you have a gut feeling about the bsc. Then go for it. |

Damidee06: Just got a refusal letter now Applied on the 4th of may Applying for my notes doh. But i reallu need to know what to put in place before its arrival. . Applied for a diploma in business administration. Graduate of industrial and Labour relations in 2013. Served in 2014.Been involved in family business eversince.
I tried to explain how they relate and i explained how our family business requires me to have a career in bus admin in my last SOP. . The thing is that i would have applied for an advanced diploma or something but business administration is only available in diploma in the school. . Have made deposit and all. Pls how am i to tackle this. . . Gurus pls help a sister Choice of study or poorly written study plan was most likely the reason for refusal. The travel history is simply a default refusal clause especially if your purpose of visits is been questioned and you have little or no travel history. Wait for your gcms note. And if you can't use every available hypothesis regarding purpose of visit to reapply. But then I believe you'd have to get a new admission letter in a more progressive manner. Check Post baccalaureate diploma- Business administration at Thompson Rivers University. |

Hello guys,
My question is how many times can admission be deferred?
Also, I have an uncle in Canada who’s ready to sponsor me but then he’s not having the same surname as my mom or dad. Can he be a sponsor? You ca. Defer for a whole academic session. But not beyond that. For example if you apply for fall (September) you can defer till the following fall or in between. If you fail to submit a visa application in that pltime frame some school's will refund 50% of what you paid or nothing in fact. Always familiarise yourself with refund polices. |

With over 100pages scanning 25pages is fine. ● 1st 5 pages ● 5 pages of each subsequent month ● last 5 pages of soa Also note that the scanned pages should tally with the range of inflow in the account. Dont scan pages that shows 60k,100k,200k only and then scan the last pages showing millions in inflow. The VO cares about the inflow in the account and the source. Also to understand thay the balance tallies with previous transactions.... |

Please guys I need your help as am about to reapply soon, biko help a bother Sorry about the refusal. The first loophole here is applying for office administration executive diploma program? What do you hope to gain from studying a program that could otherwise be done in Nigeria and also considering the expense to be incurred. You may need to apply for a more compelling post graduate program and compose a vibrant study plan(sop). Although, your gcms note will shed more light, with a purpose of visit refusal there is hope truly. |

For the May applicants my advice would be to wait for the 9week aftrr which you can send subtle webforms asking them to update your application status. For a little hint try and attach newly printed bank statements alongside the webform and for the applicants that got reminders from their respective institutions on deadlines you can attach the letter with the webform. All the best. I know the wait is annoying but please exercise patience.
P.s: All webforms should be directed to the Kenya consulate. |

.. Hello, the first step to take would be to look for a DLI (Designated learning institute) to apply for a program. A quick google search will give you the various options available. From there you gather all relevant education credentials and apply. Also take into account the living expenses in the district/province you choose and check for available scholarships if it applies to you. All the best. Sponsor's documents (My brother) *Letter of sponsorship *CAC certificate *birth certificate *International passport (data page) *bank reference letter *Statement of account of 8.9m balance
P.S Sponsor (my brother) is using his business account, also, we bear the same surname.
Please Can anyone help me review my SOP?
cc bracha, naijaforeigner, qudkom,frankrobbin1 1. It's unconvincing to use a Company account used for business affairs. Most especially company accounts that doesn't retain money for up to a week at the very least. It takes a lot to convince a VO that your sponsor intends to sponsor you with business funds. 2. Is your brother married? Kids? 3. What do you intend to do after your studies? 4. Any plans for the sole property? Your personal finances are on the border. And when you deduct living expenses et all. What's left to convince a VO that you'll return? |

But I think I've seen it here on the forum where someone made mention of transit visa or so. Cuz the KLM I got will pass through Detroit (USA)
I'd appreciate a bether explanation on the transit visa issue pls, regarding UK and US, I've made effort to check online , but I would appreciate better explanations here. Thanks Transit (C) visas are nonimmigrant visas for persons traveling in immediate and continuous transit through the United States en route to another country. You will definitely need a transit visa if you are passing through USA. I will recommend using Lufthansa* layover in frankfurt and then straight to Canada. You don't need a transit visa to transit through Germany. Save yourself the stress. All the best and safe journey in advance. |

Fame2me79: I’ve already sent a request for my note to know the reason for my refusal and also know a better way to systematically apply for a new application. I’m thinking of travelling to Dubai or South Africa, any suggestion? I’d appreciate if you can assist with a new sop. Thank you Travel history accompanies other refusal reasons. It is almost a generic reason especially if you've been flagged for financial reasons. Also I noticed what you studied in your previous degree doesn't correlate with your intended program and that might be related to the reason you got flagged for "Purpose of Visit". The first area of concern to the vo would be; 1. Why didn't he follow through with a profession related to that of your undergraduate degree? 2. You can always write your ACA exams in Nigeria hence, not a reasonable expense to travel over Canada. 3. SOP not showing any indication of proposed purpose of visit to Canada 4. Choice of sponsor is also a huge reason. |

And would I need to book ahead for a medical? I'm doing it upfront. Thank you IOM in ikeja charge- The amount payable is 41,400 for adults 15 yrs and above, 32,700 for applicants 11 to less than 15 yrs, 28,900for applicants 5 to less than 11 yrs, 27,000 for applicants 0 to less than 5 yrs. All values are in Nigerian Naira. Qlife- 35,000(Adults) I did mine at Qlife family clinic. They request for your passport photograph and medical request for those that got it. After that you are called according to how you got there to pay and after that they give 3 tallies that come with different colours: Tally A- blood test(HIV and syphilis) Tally B- X-ray(You will enter a room and hug anxray machine to get your chest xray) Tally C- body vitals; bp, eye sight (bring your glasses if you use one), check your height and weight. Lastly, you will provide urine sample and see a doctor that will check your eyes, tongue and abdomen. The doctor will also ask about your medicsl history. It is advisable to get there early enough the process takes 3-5hrs. Hope this helps. The Police clearance depends on your connection and could be anything from (3k-8k) but getting it done at the HQ in lagos shouldn't be more than 2k. |

From my experience, the quality of how canadian student visa processing is very poor that is the reason no one can second guess them. There is so much inconsistency, just imagine the way people's passport are detained and how the app are not regularly updated. How about holding app for more than a year? The list goes on and on. That's why I said cross check before ordering the gcms note. At least after doing that you can be sure it was the VO that made the mistake. |

Evankc: I just got a bad news from my agent (second time now) Refusal Grounds : Help!! I need advice for better way to address the issue
* I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay. Base on your personal asset and financial status.
* base on your current employment situation.
* I am not satisfied that you have sufficient and available financial resource, without working in Canada, to pay the tuition fee for the course or program of studies that you intend to purse.
* I am not satisfied that you have sufficient and available resources, without working in Canada to maintain yourself and any family members who are accompanying you during your proposed period of study.
* To pay the cost of transporting yourself and any member who are accompanying to and Canada..
Are beg I don't want to use the agent again and also I want to change school from university of Regina (4years) to any cheap college for 2years program ..
I applied with undergraduate (ssc) . Age am 29yrs . I use the agent because I don't have a strong sponsorship as liquid cash .. my unclen is into wholesale business which we know of buying and selling so there is a good flow but you know everybusines man don't keep huge amount for account instead he use it to buy goods.. also my uncle business is not registered yet ...
As for me I have up to 3m in my personal account ..
NOW ITS MY TIME TO SEEK FOR HELP FROM THE GURUS PLEASE
For my 1st and 2nd applications, I submitted my employment letter and study leave letter . But I didn't include it that I run other small scale business which I run just like my uncle but not whoesales ... Sorry about your refusal. It is obvious that the so called sponsor you used didn't have the slightest influence on your application. Your agent made basic mistakes regarding your sponsors portfolio. A company account doesn't necessarily show your sponsor will be of benefit rather it shows your sponsor as a reliable source of income. You need to work harder to provide more visible proof of your sponsors commitment and to prove the relationship that exists between the both of you. Ordering your gcms note is obviously the first thing to do but I think your refusal is pretty much obvious. I hope you get it right the 3rd time. Good luck. |
