You saw that kind of workshop structure, the tools available and still expected to be served kazeem style
Abi you think say na your erectionless preek dem use do ritual to get the millions they sunk into that place
So after all that investment, they should use their tools to diagnose your car for free, then you run away when they tell u d faults and give you repair invoice, and take it to your village kazeem to fix at a cheaper rate, since you can now conveniently pinpoint what's wrong with the vehicle
No dey waka go where your pocket no reach.. Go and meet your village kazeem who will drop engine before billing you 1k since prosperity dey forbidden for him family ..
Leave Rada for those who can afford it and face your mango tree kazeem.. Abi dem put gun to your head to go there?
That 10k initial fee is to weed out time wasters and rifraffs like you.. They didn't invest so much in that facility to end up being shortchanged by rifraffs like you
Thanks. The 10k is applied to your repair so the diagnosis is actually free if you really want to repair your car. I couldn't have said it less diplomatically myself
As far as the other stuff I don't know why my email is bouncing. I've been out of the country for about two years working on a massive expansion. I'll look into the email issue because I want to find out what happened.
I definitely will not be prioritizing explaining here because we all know there a couple of 24 moniker having people desperate to drag our name . We haven't been around this long without knowing what we are doing.
NB: we started allowing tokunbo parts because that's what customers wanted despite our advice. We do NOT offer warranties with tokunbo parts.
Please I need detailed info on the C230 or C240 & co. Around 2004 or 2005 models.....
How economic is its maintenance for normal office use + weekend hangouts on the island. Nothing serious just from home to office then maybe beach or a mall on weekends.
How likely is it to develop faults from normal driving (no major accidents)? What are the most likely problems that will arise? What are the most common price range of these parts (if it will be replaced) etc??
Please my questions sound amateurish because I am. I hope someone sees this and helps me out in layman terms.
Thanks alot in advance.
Cc: gazzuzz nurey kingreign greggng icenautos radautoworks please help out
That car is near perfect for Nigeria. Cheap to maintain as long as you do routine maintenance, for some reason parts in Nigeria for it are about on par with the parts for a Corolla, good fuel economy, nice ride. I would buy it everyday and twice on Sunday
I actually called twice on Friday, spoke with 2 different representative (a guy & a lady) who claimed they will check inventory and get back to me but they never did up until this moment.
I will try the email option, hopefully I will get a response.
Thanks and Congratulations on the expansion to the mainland. We await the address once completed.
hello, if you email support they can confirm for you. I'm very disconnected from the shop right now dealing with expansion plans for another location in Ikeja.
sultaan: They sold a lot of it new now market is flooded with used ones at a cheap price and the competition like Murano, Crosstour and Venza are not as appealing?
People are looking for a semblance of luxury at a reasonable price but Edge at a lower price than, RX 350.
A Jeep Grand Cherokee is a more capable SUV, but had not be given the chance in the Nigerian market.
When the desirable is not available, the available becomes desirable.
Migurl: Please please beware of this company! Do not use them! Especially for oversea shipping. The staff in Houston are very rude. They do not answer their phones not emails. They will take your money and will not deliver and there will be nobody to hold. I wish I read reviews online before I patronised them, I would have not been a victim. Do not try them at all. Use another company.
sonnie10: Bros, no games in this arena. As they say it, that is how it is. Let me give you one example. Did you know that some brake pads at Autozone store have lifetime warranty? At least this one I have used. You make a normal one time purchase (no extra charges) and then, each time the brake pads get worn out, you return them for a free replacement. Completely no charge, and no questions asked. Don’t ask me how the manufacturer make their profit, because I don’t know. When will Nigeria reach that level, in terms of quality assurance?
*Hears the words "lifetime warranty" *
Been in Nigeria for 3 years. The platinums are lifetime. Most other stuff is 6 months- 2 year
MASTAkiLLAh: shebi they cyberbullied her relentlessly till she decided to cut out from here. Nigerians can be very terrible at times
Happy new year! I wasn't cyber bullied into leaving o! I just realized that Nigerians are gullible and love being lied to and I don't have time for that so I left them to their fate with those they love being lied to by lol.
I pop in every so often to laugh at the result. Those who want real help and the truth come directly to us at the shop and bypass this nonsense
ojeysky: Hello my sister, do you always see 11mpg on your RDX or more? While I love the performance of the rdx the fuel still occasionally make me shiver
what year is yours? But no matter the year you should be seeing at least 14 to 18 miles per gallon. On the lower end if it's the turbo version. Yours seems like it's eating a little too much.
Pearl1910: Lolz...abeg o Where man dey work, na there him dey schop...na why dey call am "Workshop"
Prices are okay overall, whether he will get d genuine parts and do d job well, should be d main concern. The difference will not be a problem when u r happy with the results.
My question is why putting connecting rode price when he has costed for crancksahft couple back. And Oil filter is too pricey for a 7,500 oil.
dicksonadams: any promo for the ember month? By the way I want remove and replace the power steering racks and pump of my honda civic 2008::: you do do those
hey,
Oil-tober may not happen because of customs wahala
Well you had better make your standing clear before established fraudsters identify with you.
I know what you meant to say but it's your prerogative to explain what exactly you mean. You have a ton load of experience with cars unlike the obvious blond bloke on rampage and I'm sure you understand the related engine risks when importing used (auction) vehicles down here.
Except you are in full support of selling tokunbo cars with defective engines to naive individuals after padding it with temporary fixes aimed at masking the problem.
can't be bothered NLers always looking for violence. Doesn't matter what you say. Got other things to do with my time. I say the little I feel like and whoever wants to run amok with their willful misinterpretation is free too. Not like I get any benefits lol
Timblogga: He was trying to make a failed point, which I didn’t even understand so I ignored. How’s installing a Tokunbo engine on a car bad, in fact that’s the closest in reliability to buying a direct foreign used car. I bought similar Camry In 2018 like Dru23 described. Car kept shutting oil, Kept spending money on mechanics removing my engine and looking for leaks till I ended up buying a Tokunbo engine and had peace of mind.
xperiencelove: As much as you owns your car, I am talking from experience. Last year December, Dec 22 precisely, I bought a green colour Camry 03 from someone that needs some cash and the person uses 20W50. As at then, I already owned a gold colour big daddy which I bought in 2019 as toks which I have been using 5W30 full synthetic oil and I change it twice a year. A day after Easter Monday this year, the green color oil pump failed and spoilt the metal bearing. From my research and some technicians verdicts, the thicker the oil, the more power and force it requires for oil pump to pump the oil. I repaired it and sold it on July 9th and bought Camry 2012 that is on Castrol 5W30 full synthetic. The gold Camry is V6 VVTi, cool as ever, 5W30 lubricate well than 20W50, I have never add any fluid including coolant since I have bought it and it is the car I travels with which is the reason I bought V6 and I lives in Ibadan but works in Lagos Island. So whether you change the oil even 2k miles or 500miles, that oil is too tick for Camry 03 and upward oil pump. It is the oil pump weakness that mostly damage engine parts especially crankshaft and metal bearings because they won't get enough lubrication. The Mobil 1 full synthetic 5US Quartz I uses is 23k as at last month from Jumia and I change it at least twice a year. I do accrue minimum of 10k miles in a year. Calculate the amount you will spend in a year on thicker oil and calculate mine and see who saves more.
it's about damn time! You only need 2 oil changes a year with synthetic and the right filter! NL and wahala I swear
not in the long run. No engine and transmission change-change. Our regulars only do routine maintenance. Na when dem carry am go elsewhere and everything don scatter na him pocket go scatter
Pls I need ur guidance here. I just acquired this 2007 C280 4matic foreign used. Car was running fine and smooth until I decided to do oil change and servicing. Wanted to use Mobil1 but Mech advised Total oil. Did oil change and a day after, I started hearing a dangling sound in the bonnet area. Called Mech when I arrived home from work to check, Mech said is the exhaust. After working
.on the exhaust, metallic dangling sound still there. Now he is saying it's from the shaft. I insisted it must have been the oil as the sound wasn't there before. The asked that I bring the car tomorrow. I just got this car few days ago, and these guys have turned it to their lab rat. how do I fix this. Oil used is Total 20w 50. I am in Abuja...
happydude: Good day house , pls what's the recommended oil for a c280 2007 m272 engine types with high mileage on the odometer. thanks fam for ur inputs
