Prophet777:In what way please... |
Pruwa:To beat Bayern will not be a surprise. Liverpool made the finals the last time around and came through a very, very hard group. And in their goalie they now have a more complete, balanced and vastly more experienced team. Bayern is clearly aging and in Kovac lack the touchline experience at the very top where it matters. |
dexterinc2003:No sir. The statistic is very correct. Statistics is statistics and has a very deep contextual premise, that is it is hinged on empirical historical data for the purpose of projections so the criteria must remain stable over time. In a nutshell statistics is only useful in context, in comparison so apples have to be compared to apples. If data has been collected over the decades on 'white collar' jobs as the barometer of employment then it cannot suddenly change. What he can ask for is a new line of inquiry but this will be of limited use because it cannot be compared to anything previously except if agricultural employment data for example has been collected separately before. This government cannot just wake up and adjust the bar or widen the goal posts simply because its strikers are impotent. And morally it low level corruption. And fundamentally it will not help Nigeria since the middle class remains the perfect barometer for determining economic productivity. We are not an agrarian, peasant, socialist society. Agriculture cannot propel our development. Our population is much too large for that. It can help us cut our bills and balance our books but it cannot prosper us singlehandedly. |
Hmmm... crossing a dangerous red line. It is like turning off your airbag, doing an odometer rollback or tampering with the sensors... thermostat of your prized auto... it may give you temporary mental relief then.... kaboom without warning. Statisticians like doctors are not to be toyed with by learned economists. They are completely apolitical and in some climes the entire department is not government appointed or controlled. |
Still short on details. If you are taking me to war as a commander you've got to explain to me in great detail exactly how the operarion will be conducted. And leave me with the option of assessing whether it will be a sucdessful plan. Leadership is also about motivation and motivation is the product of the understanding of facts and the realization of solutions. I can profer a solid youth based solution to Nigeria's developmental challenges in two paragraphs |
eltigreu06:Stop all these abeg. What do you mean his time was up. These are tragic events and in most cases preventable with the right degree of knowledge on both sides. If he was on a life timer then why build a career. Just learn from the mistakes and carry on. Africans just don't like to face the facts. They either attribute stuff to some unseen force or dismiss reality all together. Always extreme. |
ibietela2:Hmmm... sorry for you. When the bacteria enters your blood stream and reformats your heart eh....you will be talking 7 figures minimum to stay alive. Oral bacteria no be here. |
slowice:The soil my man, the rain my man and the problems it causes. It is not the same thing. We did a feasibility for a medium rise in coastal Portharcourt and the cost of the foundation alone was just slightly less than the cost of the same prototype in Enugu. |
They should face their core mandate, remain professional and get out of the political space for heavens sake. This is a democracy not a dictatorship where you have to cuddle up to the supreme leader. A democratically elected leader can be there today and is removed tomorrow. Their allegiance is to the Federal Republic of Nigeria....sadly things just getting worse everyday. |
Instead of the youth to debate issues and ask the candidates important questions bordering on their future see what the first few pages of an important event is dedicated to. At the end of campaigns no one will be the smarter. No one the wiser and once again these politicians will have escaped without serious query and without serious obligations and another four years will be wasted. I cannot imagine that a long suffering trader will be distracted by mere greetings when the paying customer eventually arrives his shop... Why are Nigerians this dull.... just imagine the nonsense being discussed on this topic. |
kehinde1588:Rubbish questions?.... |
Originalsly:This is absolutely wrong. Negligence in the course of non lethal, non dangerous duty is not a criminal offence. You cannot be criminally charged for not reporting a crime you were not aware off. There is no law in the land that requires hotels to check the rooms of their guests to find out if they are alive. Some hotels can place 'wake up' or reminder calls but this is on request. On the other hand a number of guests will turn up the 'donot disturb' sign on the door and inform the front desk likewise. Sometimes when I pass the weekend in hotels due to scheduling issues I disappear on Friday and emerge on Monday save for room service. Its not their business and I don't like disturbance. |
Serial lapses and failure all around by all parties concerned but this is not best practice by the police to have everyone arrested and taken to the station for 'interrogation'. Why can't the police conduct a preliminary on the spot assessment of the situation and then invite only those of specific interest for further query... as is done normally. |
The same allegations of diversion of war funds to electoral ends that dogged the previous regime had come to the fore yet again. Goes a long way to show that until the game is changed by restructuring, ssubstituting the players will not amount to any progress. It is the system that permits this mess.... |
Liverpool is the real deal. |
Endangered species... |
Oh well.... guess racism has no levels. |
From the main impact points it appears one of the vehicles was on the wrong lane, or I should say both were on the same carraigeway but in opposite directions and I guess one was overtaking or more commonly, avoiding a pothole at speed. This tragedy called our national dual carriageway network, rendered ineffectual and highly dangerous due to perpetually bad condition and endless repairs over the decades has cost too many lives. There is hardly any road now on which one can drive from city to city on the same side of the carriageway without having to divert into on coming traffic. Now if these diversions were mapped and clearly indicated with the requisite warning signs some risks will be mitigated but quite often if one is not a frequent traveller on that route you may be suddenly accosted with high speed traffic head on and woe betide you if you happen to be overtaking or evading a pothole at that split second. I guess one may say the shortcomings of the road safety corps has come to the fore in this very tragic manner and I shudder to think what is coming when the annual holiday migration starts in earnest..... |
mrvitalis:Well you have just one vote. I have grown too but the stats donot lie. Nigeria is smaller than it was in 2015 and a lot of folks out there haven't prospered as promised. What do you expect them to do. |
Minjim:What job is that. No is part of their job. If you stand in line for a visa to run away from Nigeria you cannot say the visa officer is not doing his job when he turns you down as a cunning fraud.... or the lecturer is not doing his job for giving you an F for '....up'. The Legislature is not obliged to do the Executive's bidding on any matter. So it happens in every democracy of the world. When you look at the most successful Executive regimes in recent past such as the Obama regime, he got a lot of things done despite the Republican Upper majority by intense lobbying and a lot of brinksmanship. But on the other hand government shut down twice during his time due to budgetary delays. Today the delaying and atrocious Republicans are in power and getting massive retribution from the Democrats.... that is the way democracy thrives.... but we know you all want dictatorship. Such is the desire of the weak minded black man who doesn't want to grow up to personal responsibilities.... sorry ain't gonna happen. Mr President should get off his throne and lobby them if his regime is going to succeed. |
Everyone defending his own patch as the civil war between the traditional and the modern church rages on.... |
Should never have bought him. Rarely do players return to the clubs they left under unsatisfactory conditions especially players with big egos. It just doesn't work. And fir me the player's ego is a lot bigger than his game play.... its like Real Madrid resigning Alvaro Morata or Gonzalo Higuain or Barca going for Alexis Sanchez... big, big trouble awaits. |
Why only SERAP. Where are the 49 or so opposition parties. Why is the polity not speaking up. They all want power next year. Where is the responsibility. |
eluquenson:No so. So we will have the dictatorship you so earnestly desire. Ain't happening. If you are dissatisfied, vote them out. Don't say because your team isnot scoring goals we should change the rules of the game. Get a better team. |
People looking for long term stability in a short term economy. If things were right you should be paying your rent to a mortgage institution while living in your own home. This huge investment opportunity we are already working on and on a few years we will have the capacity to formally launch. |
The way things are all over the world's parliaments. The Lower House is always fluid and unstable. That is why key Federal issues are handled in the Upper Chamber where a good number of mrmbers are there for life. However it makes the Lower Chamber more sensitive to the desires and whims of the electorate citizen which is actually the purpose of representation. In a nutshell the Senate is closer to government while the Reps are closer to the people and this reflects in the turnover of both houses. |
Aaronzy:Once again. That is not an achievement. That is what it should be. Achievements should be what he has done to move Nigeria forward and out of poverty to sustainable development. I guess the next person will do that since it appears these fellows are stuck on gear one. In this season of shopping blues I will say both the staff that steals and the unproductive staff that stagnates my business will be sacked. Can't afford both. |
InSanety:.....pro British... some of your best players were from other Isles. |
ReeLoaDead:Eras are cyclical. Liverpool was once in this position. In all of history the rise and fall of empires makes for the renewal of society.... to answer your question, probably after a few successful Liverpool years will we see United rise again, since it appears both teams cannot successfully operate at the top like Real and Barcelona regularly do in Spain. |
festacman: ... then he should not have said he could fix it dear. ...that is integrity. Don't we all complain about dishonest service we get everytime from our artisans.... claiming they could do stuff way above their competencies. You simply cannot wangle your way out of this.... do you want me to use the scenario of the quack doctor...builder...or the traditionally dishonest tailor (now that Christmas is at hand) and their endless excuses.... same thing. Politicians like them tell too many lies claiming to be and to do what they are not and not capable only for gullible Nigerians like you to buy into the false narrative. Mr President simply cannot deliver but is too dishonest to admit it. Cool, he is a politician. So some may understand. But spare a thought for young Macron of France or the tireless May of Britain. Who gives them the chance. Much hailed in Nigeria as young and energetic, the French are not interested in Nigeria type dishonest sentimemt and are not waiting to give him ten terms to deliver. Their own dividends of democracy they want now. They want their car on the road before Christmas even if it came to the garage in spare parts. That is a serious people who don't HOPE on their leaders but MAKE them perform by force. Sit there and wait for repairs you hear while they cruise around in armoured SUV's. The black man is just dull. |
festacman:You people like history sha... but politicians are elected for geography... providing a map, a blueprint to the way out of problems. If this set of politicians ruling now were to be the mechanic handling your car and everyday you hear curses about how you ruined your car before bringing it the garage what will you say and do. Do they take good cars to the mechanic. Do they give good situations to a new government If Nigeria was so good before 2014 why vote out the PDP and elect a new government. They say 4 years is not enough, so tell us for how long the car will remain under repair nau... I wan travel go villa for Christmas oh.Today Peter Obi dey yarn strong tin. If dem elect am I hope no be say e go dey tell us APC crash my car so notin for me.... till rapture... |
asuustrike1:That is because they think fighting corruption means changing the way a person is.... primitive thinking as no man can change. Whereas fighting corruption actually means changing the way things are done... only by restructuring of the state is this possible. |
