Aod the bills will be moderated. Just let him have no access to the wires between pole and breaker or he will steal power and if caught you the house owner will pay.

As a landlord it is MANDATORY that you instal a Pre-Paid Meter in your tenancy with the meter and adjoining wires totally inaccessible (seen but not touched). Any other thing is your fault and I honestly wish you the best because Nigerians are largely irresponsible. Our constitution requires each citizen to be irresponsible so,...behave like the telecos and make them pay....as they sleep.

When push comes to shove it is people like you that will reconstitute the PDP out of dire necessity moreso when you realise they are in the best position to do so. We tend to care less about the taste of food the hungrier we are. Time will tell.

There is an unseen hand working against the unity of PDP. It is obvious that if PDP unites, they will be a formidable opposition to APC, and so this unseen hand don't want that to happen.
I think on the contrary, this episode and other Sheriff inquests will unite the party around a common cause rather than about multiple disputings. At the moment you have just two factions very much like the APC in 2014. With the APC faction that will break out pre election that makes three which is manageable. A lot beuer than four, five or six.

He has the right to do whatever he likes with the dog. This religious thing is eating up into Nigeria. Hausas are always looking for attention . Trying to take rule. So because he is Hausa we can't do what we like. Did yoruba people not see it. Other ethnic group must have seen it. Na only hausas with Thier behaviour of seeking for attention. People named their God Obama. Obama children no arrest anybody.
Hmmm, lady, America is not Nigeria. While we aspire to be, we must build from somewhere. You can test the boundaries all you want but it has consequences. And you must prepare for them. The police knowing they don't have enough fuel in their vehicles, tear gas in their magazines and haven't paid their retainership at the local hospital just want to de-escalate the situation.
Pets › Re: Trader Arrested For Naming His Dog ‘Buhari’ by Reference(m): 9:57am On Aug 17, 2016
grin Abeg, the police is right on this one. He can be charged with attempted breach of peace. The consequence of which no one, I mean, no one will be able to contemplate. I am an apostle of de-escalation and avoidance. If you wear short skirts around you can get raped, if you drive flashy cars around you can get jacked, if you wear expensive jewelry on the streets you can get mugged, simple. Oh, and if you walk about with a pet dog stenciled Buhari, you can start a genocide. It is as simple as that. He should be put away, not for exercising his fundamental rights of property ownership and expression, but for crass stupidity and insensitivity, the kind of way we lambasted whoever killed and ate that monkey which consequently started the ebola crises or the man that shot and assasinated the heir to the Austria-Hungarian empire that started the first world war, just stupid.

When we develop into tolerant, free society (after restructuring of course) we can do as we please, but we aren't there yet and we should not unnecessarily heat up the airspace to test the boundaries and grow the movement for a tolerant, free society. I know that to make an omelette you have to break some eggs but there is a time for eating. Good things don't come at anytime, everytime.
Politics › Re: BBC Describes Current PDP Crisis In Nigeria(photo) by Reference(m): 9:30am On Aug 17, 2016
What are they talking about. Is the UK Labour party not split into two. Are the two factions not in court over who votes in the upcoming race to select the party leader. Abeg wetin be the difference if not for judicial immaturity cause by decades of military rule. In the US was the Democratic party not split between the Sanders camps and the Clinton's camp, calling each other names before sense prevailed. What about the Republicans where three-quarters of their core leadership boycotted the convention and many considering not voting at all. It happens everywhere. Where was the APC two and a half years before the elections they won. Buhari was not even in the race, so it doesn't matter the status of the PDP now, next year or the year after. They will present a candidate at 2019 for the sake of democracy and Nigerians will consider their candidate in competition with whoever the APC fields. It is the system that matters and there must be strong competition to provide a genuine leader of this country. There will be no coronation.

We have seen what all the years of a one party state under the PDP has caused the country. We will be crazy to repeat it under the APC or any other party. The benefits of democracy lies in fair competition and it is in everyone's interest that a president is elected after the rigours of strong competition. Then he or she will not take the people for granted and work with a political gun to his head, not in a cavalier or dictatorial manner. The reason why this government is slow in many cases is that it has no opposing institution of similar configuration to it. Individuals can oppose but only so much. They can be arrested, blackmailed and harrangued. You cannot arrest a party so we need alternate political parties. It may not be a desire but it is a necessity.

Politics › Re: Ondo APC Party Secretariat Locked Over Imposition Of Candidates by Reference(m): 1:04pm On Aug 16, 2016
I have said this time and again that the APC should start acting democracy and this imposition - godfatheristocracy can no longer work the nearer they get to the centre of national politics. It has served its purpose of tying down the core west for good or bad, created vast empires of great wealth and influence for the promoters but it has an expiry date and wisdom knows when this is. If this current crises is not nipped swiftly in the bud it will infect other entities within the APC, west at least, and corrode the fabric of cooperation and solidarity amongst its members because quite frankly democracy is democracy. It is about the PEOPLE and their greatest need is freedom, self determination which the party should skillfully ride tather than ride roughshod the way it is doing. Ondo is long overdue for an APC led government. It has been in the hands of the PDP for too long and has stagnated. It will be a pity if the APC throws away this golden chance of giving the people a credible alternative government.

Politics › Re: Justice Abang Suspends PDP Convention by Reference(m): 7:40pm On Aug 15, 2016
This looks like a good decision because I don't think the PDP is ready enough to be reconstituted and an early attempt may do more long term harm to the party. They should return to the drawing board and re-negotiate. There's still plenty of time. No rush.
Politics › Re: Is Jonathan Or Buhari To Blame For Poor Economy? by Reference(m): 2:45pm On Aug 15, 2016
dayohope1:
And that said one year led to the vast reduction in our foreign reserve that both OBJ and Yaradua built to 45 billion dollars from 2 billion dollars (by OBJ) as well as from 45 billion dollars to 47 billion dollars (Yaradua). Our economy was being run from Nigeria's foreign reserve, simple.

While our reserve was being depleted, income earned from exports was also being spent. Now imagine the total that was used to "stabilise" many things. The price is what we are paying today.
So by 2018 in 18 months time what will be the campaign issues be, Jonathan still? If you fellows were wise and interested in remaining in government post 2019 (which I hope so that the APC can survive post Buhari under a new identity) you will start distancing yourselves from excuses. Surely there has to be a political cutover time in every administration when responsibility firmly sits on the shoulders of the sitting government if not you folks will go to campaign without a manifesto, that is, absolutely nothing to say. I sincerely warn of this. The APC government should start carving out its own identity fast. Because now it is like an 18 year old boy still in its parents house eating of past glory and complaining of restrictions to his destiny, by next year he will be 22 and by 2018 he will be 30 years old and people will begin to wonder....
Politics › Re: Is Jonathan Or Buhari To Blame For Poor Economy? by Reference(m): 2:31pm On Aug 15, 2016
It must be Jonathan because he is still in power. If not how come he is still called out as the President when important issues regarding this country is discussed one and a half years later. And with the way the topic is addressed it appears we are better off having the OPEC president in Aso Rock since our hopes lie in oil prices and their ascendancy.

Oga. No matter how you try to wiggle out of this one it is clear who is in charge and who should show he is in charge. If he gets it right no one will need to invite you to blow their trumpet, so just hold on with your defence when no one is attacking. The APC does not even have an opposition party to contend with. When the PDP organises itself then you can both battle it out. I repeat again, a government does not have to explain or defend itself against the people it governs. They are partners, they can see everything. The battle is political not national, between parties and not the people. And it is not time for elections so why the constant politicking with the economy. The APC and its government should just get on with it.

Honestly the kind of culture these government officials practice through the length and breadth of this country is just sickening. You just wonder whether they have time at all for the responsibilities they are elected and appointed to do. Just breaching laws and ethics here and there with no regards whatsoever. That the wife can even mention these things in defence shows how deep the rot is. That you get into office means you have to live above society in obscene wealth amd those who have not are retards because it is a right huh......

Clearly a club without ambition. No wonder the likes of Henry and Viera have walked away. With a manager that mocks the investment his contemporaries make to strengthen their teams, failure is inevitable. Wenger should have been sacked almost a decade ago. I cannot continue to emphasize that.
