Hahaha....Indian incense....damn!! |
After 3 and a half years we will assess the situation but by the end of the year we can begin to plot the trajectory. No excuses anymore. They have the yam and the knife. |
iyke926:Told you folks before. You don't listen. Change the game not the players. It is the system that expects, aides and abetts Randy Orton to slam Benue State.....but come oh. What is it about the middle-belt misery....or the middle-belt mismanagement....or the middle-belt malaise....or the middle-belt meddlesome.....From air plane crashing superstars in Taraba to serial kleptos in Kogi to bank crashing bulldozers in Kwara.... middle-beltans are sure having the time of their life. |
hardbody:Its is called responsibility not bad news. A chance to prove that you are in the insurance not swindling business. You think you can just be chopping premiums forever. ![]() |
He got the nominees now he's after the portfolios. Baba's third term alive and kicking. |
abacus:Oh yes they will if he embarasses them. If you think this guy doesn't have dirt on him then you must be a nimrod. That he is in the EFCC under such graft and didn't say anything ?...Cos in sane climes he would have brought Lamorde down himself but....he can't, he won't because he is... |
These are not caused by the government but the system. The fact that Cadbury is amongst the list is symptomatic of how badly Nigerians have mentally degenerated. For heaven's sake does government need to announce policy for you to have a cup of hot cocoa in the morning or will the Chinese decline in oil demand cause you not to bathe, cook and sleep or log onto your daily tonic - Nairaland .Shows we are lazy people, bereft of original ideas of creating wealth and value and as a nation (not government alone) depend on one resource - oil for life and living. This is bad. I will always say this: People make government not the other way round. In most decent climes government only regulates (that is then rein in) a people galloping with ideas, innovation and enterprise. Here we require government to drag us kicking and screaming to work and find every reason under the sun to blame them for every economic woe. Granted this government is slow, obviously out of its depth on most aspects of governance, missing targets and expectations here and there but what we are seeing is not about their performance or lack of it. If Jonathan had continued the situation will have happened sooner than later. It is rather a systemic, structural and people-centric malaise. Nigerians are not developing this country as they should. They are folding their hands and waiting to be fed. That is why we are oft misled and frequently disappointed, the hallmarks of a beggarly status. Blessed are those without expectations for they shall never be disappointed. I'm in that camp. I have no economic stress whatsoever. Productivity keeps on rising. Because I go out every day to create value and it is recognised both home and overseas. |
If you guys think I'm gonna comment about this, you're just wasting your time. We've reached our conclusions about Nigeria long ago. Enjoy. |
Hmmm. Nostalgic. And Buhari seems to have a knack for winning the Cadet World Cup. Good one. The other side is worrisome. He is still the one exactly 30 years after. Ronald Reagan and Maggie Thatcher have both quit permanently. Shows how badly we have aged as a nation. By the way. Even Ugbade the captain is retired from football. Says so much. |
'Jesus, this is your house'....really? Is it not God that says He does not dwell in temples made by man. That we ourselves are the temple of God, the dwelling place of the Most High. I've heard so much church misinformation these past few days it is coming out of my nostrils. This is another one. Abeg, God is a Spirit. He doesn't do brick and mortar. He dwells in heaven (a spiritual address) and owns no, neither seeks to own any landed property. |
Enjoy your country. You put them there. |
flokii:Exactly. I keep on saying it. Nothing in nature that takes lives comes out of the blues without adequate knowledge and information to prevent or escape from it. People ignore body pains, car noises, bad odour, barking dogs and sadly cracked walls without ever asking the question 'why these things'. They are too busy surviving. But sadly, very sadly have time to die needlessly. Death is the only state beyond negotiation. Every other condition is optional. Please if you live in a house with cracked ceilings, walls or floors, hear strange noises and feel vibrations of any kind, just move out. Don't stay in it another day. That is the only gain in this tragedy. |
kunzaar83:Ah, ah, are you guys already tired of Buhari.... |
Though honourable in its responsibility as the foremost voice of the opposition, the PDP should thread carefully on this political minefield. It cannot be seen to be a voice of secessionists particularly those on sectional and tribal lines, particularly lines that are deep bloody scars that just won't heal. The PDP must remain a genuine national party to remain relevant in the scheme of things. Their position on this will not help their course in seeking a way back to power. |
Nice. Glad to know my baby was on the team. Good work gurl. |
donphilopus:By your post you insult people. Because they interact with the governor doesn't mean they are 'jobless'. Neither does commissioning projects mean good governance. Donald Duke was a master of projects. In the end he was labelled elitist. That his spending didn't 'touch' people personally. How many projects has the Federal government launched thoughtless of commissioned but they are hailed for other things because governance is not just one thing. |
ephemm:Dividends of a true, virile democracy. That the pressure of the opposition pushes them into the hands of those they are meant to serve. Say no to a one-party state under whatever guise. The APC knows they cannot wrestle Ekiti from his grip by rhetoric alone. They will need solid performances in the territories they hold currently. Its a good day. Things are looking up. |
arabianights:Some are Nigerian with Nigerian passports. Children of expats turned immigrants. Some others are half caste with a genetic make up heavily skewed towards the white parent so by appearance you think they are white. Know quite a few. Common in the Niger-Delta. |
chimchim1:Don't mind them....students of University of Ignorance, Faculty of Public Bus Medicine, Department of Fake Drugs. Pathetic. |
PunkyVeer:No. It should come out like buck shot.... |
What is her business with the viscosity of his semen. What does it matter in a loving relationship. He better dump her sorry ar.se cos she is either a ritualist or one of those ignorami (plural of ignoramus) whose only claim to education comes from free daily lectures from fake drug peddlers and trado-medical manipulators aboard ramshackle buses. Pathetic. |
1 in every 4 black persons' on the face of the earth is a Nigerian courtesy of our out of control galloping population, so we qualify for a permanent seat on the Negro Nations Assembly (NNA). We ably qualify to rep the black race at all times, good, bad or downright..... Since Obama is a Kenyan, Ben Carson is definitely a Nigerian....because he's brilliant and.....conservative. Now how's that. |
Nigerians and death.....and burials (funerals). We have to take it easy. Attending these events should not be a life or death matter....no pun intended abeg. Its becoming serious bordering on the ridiculous. Growing up we were told funerals were only attended by the aged. Now I know why. The constitution and institution of death and the industry it has become in Nigeria is something else. Whenever I recall the Agagu funeral tragedy I just shiver cos I knew some of them personally. Nothing to say. Abeg make we take am easy. Just this evening a key member of my staff informed me he has to attend a funeral tomorrow and will be travelling. I asked him to call in a replacement. You won't believe that after ten minutes and four calls they were all going to attend funerals tomorrow. We got a fifth who wasn't. Now this and it gets me thinking.... |
All these constitutional, institutional wars. What goes around will always come around. Then we will wonder why. Let the institutions work!!! By a selfless act GEJ ignored the failings of INEC's Card Readers, the violence and corruption and let the system work. We should all do the same for the greater good, today and tomorrow. |
bolajiboi:Pressurization problem and you're saying why the noise. Do you understand how grave a situation that is. No pilot in his right senses will do anything other than declare an emergency and put the plane on the ground as quickly as possible to avoid a catastrophe. De-pressurization or failure to pressurize properly is symptomatic of certain problems with the engines, the structure of the aircraft or the aircraft's control systems any of which can bring the plane down. Its not just about how the passengers feel but what the aircraft is telling you. Its like the tightening of the chest and shortness of breathe before a heart attack. You're not dead but you may shortly be. |
TB Joshua will be like.....missed call ![]() |
If you are an Arsenal fan, you'd want to turn away...right now...its getting ugly at the Allianza. There's blood on the floor....pitch. |
Hmmm, if not for Cech. |
Arsenal, how far today. |
Getting more and more worrisome. Something is just not right. |
The good thing about democracy is having elected your beloved party and pet candidates and having no one else to blame because you hold yam and knife, your thinking is dramatically elevated and you begin to find solutions to problems you cause and sustain. |
That's good. There should be opposition in the senate. He and others may have been confirmed but they will sure come under intense pressure in accountability and performance. Oversight will be dramatic. |
