Trut:An eye for an eye leaves everyone blind and this tit for tat thing will only damage the polity. It is good to oppose for the betterment of society but that tool becomes blunt and those in authority will fail to yield to it when it becomes petty or downright cynical. If you are in the opposition doing this, know this, as with the current bokoharam insurgency, you cannot defeat the government by throwing stones at it but by superior ideas. Your crass words show you have few or little ideas and do your party no good. Very soon the country will see through this that you chaps are not prepared and have certainly not learnt much from the failures of the past. I am all for freedom of speech as it concerns all but the unity and security of this country, but like I did warn during the past PDP government certain things we do will come back double fold and haunt us because what we do shapes the future. Certainly the APC and some of its supporters have no one but themselves to blame for this ugly course but we cannot continue as a country to make the same mistakes over and over. That is just stupidity. It has just got to stop. |
miszeno:When you read stories like these pictures form in your mind that in this case says here is a couple that keeps tabs about anything but reality. You call yourself a 'friend' and could not see, warn and tow your friend on the right course to succeed. What sort of friend are you. Not surprising. Parenting has gone totally south these days. Values are no longer upheld. More and more airheads find themselves trying to gain a future they are hardly prepared for. Its so unfortunate. Well you will lose too. The loot she brings from her extra-academic activities is gone so you have to get your own too and watch your grades take a hit as well. But I hope you learn from this and make better choices of 'friends' going forward. |
MosakuAW:Has America wiped out the ones they are fighting in Iraq, Afghanistan or Pakistan. Won't you say doctor heal yourself first. This thing has no military solution. You cannot fight an ideology with guns, planes and tanks. Communism is an ideology that wasn't defeated by force but by the attraction of westernization aka capitalism - a superior ideology. Communism corroded from within. Bokoharam can only be defeated by the superior religious doctrine and ideas. |
Let them leave this man alone abeg and let this government move forward for goodness sake. What is the matter. |
owobokiri:The same thing that fuels corruption, fuels poverty and sustains under development - a faulty structure. Problem is for the next 3 and a half years we will go through a cycle of denial and distraction to maintain the status quo and the viscious cycle continues. |
When will all the drama end and the reality start. So much time lost. So much distraction and with the state of affairs across the country it is really sad this is practically the only thing happening in Nigeria. The only thing that attracts our attention. When it is all done then what. |
blackchild09:That is why it is called conspiracy. And you guys and your sinister suspicions should shove it. Criminal investigation is not an exact science that is why lawyers are paid to defend to clear reasonable doubt. You and I are not on trial because we have nothing to do with it. Why are you not arrested. I always tell people who complain about the so called 'stop and search' that if your car was snatched you'd wish more police on the roads. We cannot continue to berate a system we want work. |
agitator:Exactly. I have no sympathy for anyone involved. Public and private sector corruption and brigandage meeting head on. |
Is this a joke. 'Wanted to' indeed. She should have been ejected long before madam 'bulletproof BMW's' aka 'AirNeedful'. She was a deadweight to that government and contributed immensely to the government's failed re-election bid. For Metuh and the PDP, sorry, the horse has bolted. Jonathan missed it big time there. The same gamble this government is taking with certain appointed elements. |
Firefire:It had ended since the merger of the CPC and the ACN. People like us were resigned to that. We don't delude ourselves. We know how Nigeria works. |
It is the best Ministry for him and I cannot see anybody else on that list better placed so far. He will do well if he can steer clear of politicking. His record on infrastructure development is good and he has the chance to close some accounts in Rivers State. |
profojah:Enyeama?? Thought he had left the building. Nigerians eh. To resign na problem. To stay in retirement na war. No principles. No honour. |
52Naira:Which chute failed. His seat or his personal one. How can both systems fail. Must have bailed out late, low or incapacitated. |
It is good to see Nigerians finally sober, circumspect and patriotic in attending to grave national issues. That is the beauty of democracy. It elevates the thinking. Now we can stop playing politics and face the crises squarely. |
advocates:Reality is gradually sinking in. Told you guys that leadership is overrated. The military remains the same before and after May 29th. What we see months and years ahead most people realize too late. |
Hahahaha......employ a corpse to take care of the kids.... |
Looks like a C300. That games village road is really bad. I wonder why it was left uncompleted like that. He either sheared off the ragged left edges or didn't notice the speed bumps. Too bad. |
Told you guys so. Nothing more to add. If the country is not restructured 100 Buharis in power for a thousand years will not scratch the ticks on the back of the Nigerian dog. Forget it. This country is not changing anything. |
Okay sir but even FIFA XI remains that until they take to the field, hit the net and win a trophy. So no more talk. Let the game begin. |
The day is coming when we will look back at all these and laugh at ourselves if our children do not laugh at us first. |
It is time the PDP supporters get over Jonathan's election loss. Without that the party cannot move forward. Elections will always be won and lost and no party will remain in power for ever. |
gboss4sure:If they knew the truth and you know the truth who then was taken for a ride. |
wytecat:Thought you guys said the only reason the APC was elected was Buhari. This thing is confusing. But why the endless crises. |
Just like that. They walked up to the post. took a whole GPMG and drove away without a shot fired....well they fired a shot. But c'mon who's disarming who. Who needs amnesty, retraining and reintegration, the militants or the military. |
Damalex4luv:See what I mean. 'He can never see a way out.' If one cannot see, abeg is that not blindness. |
alaoeri:You have heard, haven't you so what's the lecture about. For the people of Nigeria the thought of draining the highways is simply divine. Only angelic intervention, Solomon's wisdom, Joseph's dream interpretations, Daniel's visions and of course Jonah's aquamatics can solve Lagos's flood problems. Na wah. |
sanbells:The UK too. A good chunk of the Nederlands is several metres below sea level. So..... |
Its our terrible prehistoric diets and eating habits that unfortunately have not evolved with time. One sorry example is the lump of unwanted calories packed into our favourite puddings - poundy, fufu, eba, amala and semo. What the heck. I mean they were great stores of pure carbo-energy when you had to camel 10 miles to the farm, till 3 acres with a hoe and haul back 100 pounds or more of produce or firewood. You hardly need that if the sum total of your daily tasking involves snoring to work behind a chauffeur, sitting your lazy ar.sis down as you travel through cyberspace on company's resources then retiring home for your daily lectures from Dstv's resident love doctors from Mexico. Yes endless love and endless fatty bums. |
I just hope that is not a vital organ exised in error. Ukraine.....hmmm. |
If only they knew just how important the task of getting this government going they would not be playing these sunday afternoon kindergarten games. Industrial output is tanking throughout the developed world and with emerging markets stuttering the only people available to buy our oil and gas are perhaps crematoriums. They better get cracking and pass these nominees warts and all. How ignorant can a set of people be. |
TRADELYN:Na so. Siasia was too harsh on Osazee, Keshi was too cold on Emenike, now Oliseh is too hard on Enyeama. Three coaches, same problem. (I wouldn't even go as far as Amodu, Chukwu or Westerhof. Hasn't it occured to us that we may have a serious player problem at the top level. Why is it that as players advance in age and national caps their attitude and persona just seems to fall apart. How come you can barely find a national team player that exits in grace and style. It is always with rancour and crises akin to political office holders with which they share a common psyche that is deep, dark and troubling. Any gaffer worth his salt will have problems with these lot. |
