Al-mustapha to debate Obasanjo...the butterfly thinks itself an eagle... ![]() |
talk true: Channels report shows where the House of Rep member hit the gavel but it was not shown on the doctored video. That's one pointPT and SR video shows where the minister was munching groundnuts with gusto before the session started. The Channels TV video didn't. That's one point ![]() |
Sincere 9gerian: Guy, you too much. You have demolished the morons. Well done!So says Nairaland's resident slowpoke!!! ![]() |
rudedough: Bro please stop taking me back and forth. Stella Oduah did not attend the school, she only received an honorary degree from the school. My "educated friend" ![]() So you are here again still trying to sell this cockamamie. "Fullerton, California is pretty f***ked up and no one will want to put that on his or her CV" ![]() Like seriously![]() ![]() |
rudedough: I don't know why i keep coming back to educate you. You sound extremely uneducated and ignorant to me but you're too proud to learn.Does your university degree certificate (assuming you have one) read 2011/2012 session for instance? Mine doesn't. But then again, believe whatever works for you. You haven't "educated" me with the "Glendale College" link I requested. ![]() |
taharqa: Oh! Shut it. Watch d 2 Videos again. On the SR Video, d Chair of d Committee never shouted, was never aggressive; all those parts were doctored out by d SR crew. This was unlike d brief Channels. The whole purpose of that Vid was to present d Minister as d 'slaker' and d Chair as been professional. That was a complete negation of what transpired that dayOh shut it! Watch the 2 videos again. On the Channels TV video the minister never shouted, was never aggressive. Those parts were doctored by the Channels TV crew. This was unlike the longer video by SR. The whole purpose of that Vid was to present d chairman as d 'slaker' and d minister as been professional. That was a complete negation of what transpired that day. You are trying to stand logic on its head. According to you, the SR video which was longer, was doctored, while the shorter Channels TV video was authentic. Note that these 2 videos are of the same event. Just that the SR one showed what transpired from the beginning while the Channels one showed us what transpired after decorum had been flung out of the window by BOTH parties. Like I said in an earlier post, the truth of what actually transpired lies somewhere between those 2 videos. Oh, and you don't have to agree with me. |
rudedough: I would have ignored you but for the other people who are interested to know. I am tired of the back and forth argument. You are obviously uneducated and know nothing about higher education, i'll forgive your ignorance.I still cannot find any reference to "Glendale College" on the Hope University website. Please do me a favour and post a link. Do not forget that according to you I am "uneducated and know nothing about higher education." ![]() Please in my ignorance, I beg you in the name of God to post a link. thanks in advance. |
rudedough: I would have ignored you but for the other people who are interested to know. I am tired of the back and forth argument. You are obviously uneducated and know nothing about higher education, i'll forgive your ignorance. Now you are veering into insults. You are here clutching at straws to support a baseless argument and you call me uneducated. ![]() Recently, President Jonathan attempted to rechristen UNILAG. Had that renaming sailed through with no opposition, what name would have been on the certificates issued to students from then on? Pacific Christian College became Hope International University in 1997. Madam Oduah by the CV released online claimed she got an honorary PH.D in 1998 from Pacific Christian University. Going by your argument and assuming that Pacific College is also Pacific University, the school authorities decided to issue Oduah a certificate bearing their former name, one full year after they changed their name ?What kind of puerile argument is that ![]() And you have the nerve to call me uneducated. SMH! |
theoctopus: What is damage control? Why do damage control for a lie? You people in APC are liars. Sahara reporters are liars. They post credible news once in a while, but they are paid to spread APC lies. It is a shame. You people will destroy yourselves with your own liesSo you actually believe that this scanned word document was released by the Nigerian Senate? You are soooooooooo gullible ![]() |
Gbam!!! |
@ Rudedough I am waiting for your feedback bro. |
St_Black: LOL.No she didn't claim to have attended the school. She only claimed she got an honorary doctorate from the university. Pacific Christian University does not exist and never has. Perhaps the minister meant to type Pacific Christian College on her CV. |
rudedough: Alright then, let's do this like gentle men. You can find it on Hope International University website that they are comprise of 5 colleges and Glendale College is one of them, hence the transfer window.Oga, there was never Pacific Christian University! There was a Pacific Christian College which changed its name to Hope International University when it became a university in 1997. If you look to the right side of the Wikipedia page you cited here, you will see a place tagged "Former Names" You will see that the names listed there are 2. Neither of them is PACIFIC CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY. Also please help me with a link of the Hope International University webpage where they listed Glendale College as one of the colleges. I have visited the site and I can't seem to find it. All I could find are a list of CAMPUSES...and none of them is called "Glendale" or located in Glendale, California. |
rudedough: You guys keep springing up new theories that is at the brink of being refuted automatically.By the way also, Pacific Christian University does not exist. You can run a search on google and see for yourself. |
rudedough: You guys keep springing up new theories that is at the brink of being refuted automatically.By the way, please don't paint me in your colours. I will speak out against corruption regardless of which tribe or ethnic group the perpetrator comes from. Thankfully, I do not originate from any of the major tribes. I am a humble boy from an "minor" ethnic minority in the backwaters of Kogi State. ![]() |
rudedough: You guys keep springing up new theories that is at the brink of being refuted automatically.Glendale College is different from Hope International University being located in Glendale. That was the angle that Awodman was trying to sell to us. Glendale College is the name of a school located in Fullerton, California...according to your link. |
ba7man: Big deal, I can edit my CV and post it online in less than 2mins.People believe what they want to believe my brother. On Nairaland, I have since made up my mind never to join issues with anyone. I speak my mind and move on. |
This is cheery news. It would boost the income of cassava farmers. |
awodman: Pacific Christain University exists...it is now known as Hope International University www.hiu.edu/about/history/Not true sir. Hope International university does not have a campus in Glendale. |
taharqa: You now have both Videos. Did SR remove parts of d complete Vid to make it look like NOI was d Aggressor here or not? Did they present d very uncultured and rude way the Chair of d Committee talked to NOI or did they remove most of those parts? Did SR manipulate their own video to push an agenda and make an individual look bad....PS: this Channels FULL Vid was what elicited d angry reaction towards d Childish behaviour of d Chair by very many Nigerians including Dr Ezekwelize. I remember Dr Ezekwesili saying matter-of-factly, that d Chair of d Committee wud not qualify as Research Assistant to NOI in d real world but for politics...Oga stop defending the indefensible and be objective for once. Both videos were edited. SR video showed the proceedings from the beginning, channels video showed the video from when BOTH THE CHAIRMAN AND THE MINISTER began the heated exchange. BOTH of these public officials should learn to conduct themselves with decorum in future. Oh, and by the way, Dr, Ezekwesili retracted her tweet and apologised for insulting the committee chairman. You must not have gotten that memo. |
Ile-Ife:Na wa o! This one is strong!!!! |
Dear Mr. Nwabuikwu, I am glad you only claimed the Premium Times video was "edited to leave out important aspects" and not that the video is fake. I have watched both videos and must agree with you that several aspects seen on the Channels TV video where not shown on the Premium Times video. Having said that however, I like to point out to you that the PTimes video contained "certain other "important aspects" that show that madam Minister was not as victimized as she made out. It showed that Channels had equally edited their own video, leaving out "important aspects" that showed that the committee chairman showed the Minister respect, probably losing it when the Minister began to play to the gallery by trying to whip up unnecessary headlines. Or else how do you explain a minister who showed up over an hour late for an appointment of such importance, jovially munched almost half a bottle of peanuts only to start complaining of ill-health when the session started. She pointedly and clearly told the committee that she would not be able to give 100 per cent and the committee offered to excuse her and she began to throw tantrums. Mr Special Adviser, somewhere between those two videos lies the truth of what really transpired on that day. The committee chairman needs to learn to control his temper seeing that he holds such an exalted public office. But your principal also needs to stop been such a drama queen. She is not doing us a favour by holding that office and if the rigours become too much for her at any point, she is welcome to resign. |
Sincere 9gerian: The minister of aviation, Stella Oduah, has come under attack once again. Few weeks ago, the controversy was about the purchase of 2 armoured vehicles. When it seems the minister has emerged from that controversy unscathed, a new controversy is brewing. This time the allegation is that she lied about her educational qualification. There was a time when I used to respect your views and opinions even though I did not agree with a lot of them. But how do you expect anyone to take you serious after the post above? ![]() |
Omexonomy: One common sh1t among these poster so far is tha they are all from southwest.I see your point. But if she had such an explanation for the discrepancy, why the rush to clean up the records? That's kinda suspicious don't you say? You really need to pipe down on the tribal slurs. |
Interesting video on a similar situation in South Korea. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UOAAUS1A5pA Those guys don't play meeeen! Those korean teachers make this Nigerian teacher in the OP's video look like he was tickling those students ![]() |
toluxa1: Last year I taught in a secondary school for nearly a year. I was class teacher for the Basic 6, while I taught at the secondary section. The guy in the video below is the computer teacher. After the Principal, I think he is the most feared teacher. When he teaches the whole class is always very quiet and attentive. You dare not make noise. Some teachers even call him to help cane their pupils. I took this video last year during one of his disciplinary sessions and uploaded to youtube instantly. It has nearly 40,000 views already with all sorts of abusive comments toward the teacher, obviously from viewers outside Africa."You want to know why I'm bending you? Because no matter how tall an okro tree is, the owner will always be able to bend it..." Words on marble ![]() There's gotta be a better way. |
tokunboh: This video has been heavily edited just to make the dis-honourable member honourable. Welldone, Premium Times! The Premium times video wasn't edited to exonerate anyone. The video actually showed what transpired before tempers flared and what Channels TV reported happened. It was Channels TV that actually edited their video dishonestly. If after you watch the premium times video you still feel that the committee chairman was high handed, then your situation is hopeless. |
I just watched a video of this same session as covered by Channels news and I can't help but marvel at the seeming difference between both videos. Channels edited their video to make it look like the committee members were insensitive to an "ailing" minister who expressed readiness to sacrifice her well being to be at the session out of "respect" for the committee. The Premium times video however clearly showed that the committee did the right thing by asking the minister to leave and return at a later date in view of her ill-health which she herself agreed would stop her from giving 100% responses to the questions. The media is indeed powerful. |
So what was all the fuss about? The video clearly shows that the committee members showed the minister utmost respect in view of her "ill-health" and she chose to get all dramatic. She was however, well enough to munch almost half a bottle of peanuts before the session came to order. Na wah for this country sha. |
Sincere 9gerian: Evil people have now congregated in APC. If we can nuke APC now, over 50% of Nigeria's problem would have been solved. After that, we just need to nuke the PDP including Mr. President to ensure that the other 50% of Nigeria's problem is solved permanently. ![]() |
