Admit you goofed with that early comment. I don't think he goofed, unless he had mentioned the consumption of the vehicles locally. Every manufacturing development first needs electricity. Come to think of it, they should support local manufacturers first. Nigerian politicians just keep going round circles and have zero interest of the people at heart. Donaldoni: Be deceiving yourself.
Total is 200k(could be a little more)
Sure @bolded
Thank God You are the one deceiving yourself, deceiving ignorant people, and being deceived by the people who made the lame comment that 200k salary in Nigeria is better than 2k in uk. Now you have listed what 200k gets you, using your hand to wash your clothes, with low quality life (no power supply, human right abuses, no security, etc), you did not even include your house rent. It means if you were to pay house rent, then the 200k won't be enough. I didn't see you brag that you also pay driver salary as he had claimed. I know of a friend who lives in UK, with 3 kids, and yet he saves 500k every month. A lot of people just stay in Nigeria and console themselves and find point to argue that their leaders are treating them welll, instead of holding them accountable. Please travel to UK, live their for 6 months, then come back let's have this debate. |

Using machine here can be stressful especially if the cloths are much like ours.
@bolded Around 25k(could be more) including PMS and gas Lol, the story they tell you at home. Nobody uses hand to wash any clothe in a civilized society bro. If you spend 25k weekly, that makes it 100k monthly. Does that mean all your expenses for the month is adequately taken care of? |

Donaldoni: One day per week is not equivalent to 4 hours here. It definitely is more: 1. Clothes are washed. 2. The toilets are washed. 3. The floor is swept and mopped. This will cost you your salary in UK if you hire someone.
Back to the shopping, I didn't do any conversion. If I list what I bought here, if you were to buy similar in the UK, you will smell pepper. Yet I spent just around 100k, maybe a little more, I am yet to ascertain the actual figure. And the stuff is for the whole month including the Easter celebrations.
Imagine how much this will cost you in the UK It is a lie bro, can even be done in less than 4 hours. Only number 2 and 3 will take the cleaner's effort. There are washing machines everywhere bro. You spent 100k shopping? For how long will that last you till the next shopping sir? I like healthy debates. |

What I bought will cost you a fortune in UK What is that that you bought that will cost a fortune in the UK? Are you converting to Naira to compare? If yes, did you also convert the salary to compare? I don't see how the person cannot afford to hire someone to work 4 hrs a week to do house chores. The person will earn exactly what he himself earns per hour. If you have an 8-shift, and hire someone to work for you for 4 hrs, I no see anything difficult there. |

aremubabs: For the fact that nothing worked for him is enough proof that the miracles from these business centres are FAKE. Christianity has become one big joke. Pastors are armed with the tools of deception. They promise you wealth in exchange for your tithes, first fruits and offerings. Then when your giving does nothing for you, they still blame you for not having enough faith. If they thought faith was enough, why swear on the authenticity of the claim that tithing opens doors, and failure to tithe makes things tight? It is all one big SCAM enabled by a lack of transparency. The church funds lacks transparency and the church members are so carefree that they don't ever demand for accountability. You have been in a church all your life, paying tithes, offering, first fruits, and all, but you have never asked for how your money is being used. A lack of transparency breeds corruption. Pastors have a free day embezzling or deviating church funds. And yet these same church members demand accountability from government. They accuse Tinubu of profiting illegally from Lagos fund. Hypocrites. They don't the log in their own eyes. Lol, I have never fallen for tithe scam. I have studied the finances of the church I belong to and I know how they are used, no be one man church. So I can tell you that my tithes were never misused. Also, I have never owned a tithe card anywhere, you can't be monitoring my tithe payment when you are not monitoring my spiritual life, which is more important. Every organisation needs funds to be sustained. Tithing is not by force. Only ignorant christians are cajoled and scammed. Miracle seekers are more likely to be scammed and held with charms. |

He didn't answer how he confirmed the miracles were fake. Na dat one I wan hear. One thing in life is that some people think they have superior reasoning abilities. When he was preaching and going for morning cry, he had made every other person in the world look stupid, and he was the only one right. Now he feels he has seen the light, every other person who is not in his fold is now foolish and only him right. Tomorrow he comes to tell us the ATR needs to be modified to suit his belief/understanding.
Bro, do whatever you want in peace and stop feeling like an alpha. Some people can give their lives in believing that miracles or juju are real because they have first hand experience. You have freedom of worship. Going to tell a church to refund your money seems to me to be stupid, you should have just left them quietly. When spirituality hits you now, you come and start bleating like a goat.
You simply went seeking for miracles and money doubling without studying your bible yourself. You know that as many as are the sons of God are led by the Holy Spirit. You were never a believer. Imagine leaving catholic for Living Faith 'just to go and confirm if the miracles were real'. You confirmed it was fake and then you went to another church to also confirm, and then started paying tithe there. You are weak-minded and very gullible. |

I am currently in the UK but my sons and majority of my investments are there in the country. I have friends who are in high profile positions in this economy and I am disappointed in many of them, Fela Duro is expected to do the needful in so many areas, he is silent. Many calling me APC this and that and insulting me don't understand my stand. I made my first personal N12m at the age of 19 ( No be my papa monie). I am not hungry. I just want a system where who ever where ever would be hold accountable. My friend from way back is a state APC chairman, you have no idea how much I grill him when we speak All the policies the government have activated are legit but we needed a background check. I am majored in the oil and gas ,for me this is drilling without modludging You have a point there, but I am of the opinion you should allow others air their own opinions and not curse them out because they are condemning 10% of the evil instead of 100%. Because obviously, you do not know and speak to 100% of the issues. Looking at the padding matter, it is not only a sin of the law makers, the executive is part of it, and the judiciary is, too. But the ruffled feathers came from the senate, and that is why everybody is calling out the senate. Let's forge a common front and fight, each according to the information he has. |

You cannot exempt the House of Rep, they are partners in the crime Then you shouldn't have used the negative tone you used on that poster. You should have just started a movement to bring the entire NA to book, and not to call others 'daft' for calling out senate. It's like when you find a criminal politician committing crime and call him out, another comes to hush you and tell you you must call out all politicians else don't even dare. Romance › Prayer Works by ruffhandu(op): 10:33am On Mar 03, 2024 |
I met someone who told me this story. " I left Nigeria about 4 years ago. i am born-again. People around feared I'll cheat on my wife, I also feared for myself. But before I left I did something crazy. I went to the altar in church, in front of every church member, and made a fresh vow to God that He should take my life if I sleep with another woman while separated from my wife. Hmn. When I arrived, it was ok for the first few months. but as time went by, I started lusting and fantasizing over and about oyibo women.
Three years later, I found myself watching porn and masturbating because my wife also became so busy that we don't have deep conversations sometimes when I desired that. I got so deep into masturbation that I discovered a second porn site. I knew it has become a problem unto me. I started praying about it. But each time I find myself having the urge and going back to it. Mind you, my wife had trusted me more than I trusted myself. I felt it could lead to a betrayal someday and so I decided to take a different action - to expose the sin.
In September 2023 I decided to open up to my wife. I told my wife about my struggles and the efforts I had made to stop to no avail. Told her how I planned to place a firewall against the porn sites on my computer. She smiled and said I shouldn't worry that everything will be fine. By January, I suddenly noticed I had not masturbated, and i had not visited the porn site for a long time. I can't remember exactly the last time I did that. It felt strange I could do without it.
Then it struck me that it didn't seem ordinary. I called my wife up and asked her if she did anything after I spoke to her about my struggles last time. It was then she told me yes, she went to the altar in the church to pray and that was all. I had goose pimples all over me. It was magical. Till today, my libido has been put in check. Prayer really works."
Many Nigerian men and women think a married man cannot stay faithful, that is a big lie. |
