The stupidity of the highest level. Ode. I am very sure it's more than deportation. It's either drug-related or general crime-related. If you are deported, you still have hope when you return. If you are jailed, you still have hope that someday you will be free. If you are sentenced to death, there is still a little glimpse of hope cos you might be miraculously or diplomatically pardoned. Now you ran into your death, all hope is lost.

Was her problem financial? I think the post didn't specify what led to her depression. She said people promising her but cancelling/postponing. Truly, it could be financial help but it could also be something else.
There is one area of depression that we are not paying attention to in Nigeria. I know most of our depression is caused by finances but hormonal imbalances and family history could also cause it. There is no amount of money or numerous counselling that could talk anyone out of it. Some depression medicines and therapy have to be involved.

GOFRONT:
Where are the "Suicide is not the best option crew"...

Well, something must kill a man or woman.

Rip Folashade. Someone would have intervened financially but in this present day Nigeria where everybody wants to be or claim to be financially smarter than the other.....

Where an Only one man has 58 bank accounts, 42 facebook names, 67 twitter handles, 44 Nairaland Monikers, 78 Email accounts, then it would be Difficult to Distinguish the REAL NEEDY from the FAKE Needy.....This is the Nigeria we found ourselves...

Meanwhile, while Folashade's tragic demise is understood, I'd never understand why Steve Bing had to commit suicide.

Give her just a card but no major gift. Just watch her reaction. From her reaction, you can decide if she's money freak or wife material.

Depression does not respect your status or wealth. You may have everything working for you and still get depressed. Please, research more about the subject. Life issue is not just the cause. Some hormone imbalances could cause it too. Also, some people have a history of depression/mental issue in their families.

How can a 55year old man who is relatively well to do say he is suffering from depression.

Family › Re: Hidden Life Rules That I Learned Too Late In Life by saajus:
Number 4 is very important for guys coming from a poor background. it may look as if you are selfish in the beginning but people around you will see the advantage in the future. You must weigh higher than the people you are trying to save from drowning or else, all of you are going down together. E.g A new graduate who just finds a job should try and save for investment so that he can create passive income in case he loses the job. Unfortunately, that's he will start sharing money to family and friends. Somebody that travels out of the country that supposes to get an education first will start sending money home, after 10 years abroad he will find himself stuck on menial jobs. "The boy is good, apa lo n jebe"

Number 8 is very great too. Confidence attracts people to you. You can't sell anything if you are not confident about it. How can I believe in what seems you don't believe in? You always doubt yourself, how will a lady/guy believe in you. Accept yourself first. Accept things that can't be changed like height, race, etc. Safely change the things that can be changed without breaking the bank if you think it will give you more confidence. Like losing weight.

olabrinks:
1. Maintain your weight whilst your young. Not watching your weight will give you series of problem later on in life. Exercise and eat properly.

2. Dont be with someone who’s family do not like you. It is an everlasting battle that you will eventually lose.

3. You will not gain respect trying to please everyone. Stand up for yourself and always speak your mind.

4. Only share things when you are established. People are envious and will try to destroy your plans if you share too quickly.

5. Listen more than you talk.

6. Social skills are paramount for getting further in life. You must learn how to make solid connections.

7. Elders do not know it best

8. Confidence is more valuable than looks

9. Your family doesn’t always want the best for you

10. No one will values you until you hit it big.

11. Be careful with alcohol. It is addictive and very accessible, probably the worst drug out there.

These are just some of mine, feel free to contribute some of yours.

Health › Re: Betting Epidemic: Oche Otorkpa Charges FG To Place Cigarette Like Hazard Warning by saajus:
I hope our people listen. Some people want to use 1k Naira to win 100k Naira. It can happen but what is the chance.

Some people bet, some people bet like trading. Those people that bet like trading involve a lot of statistics to reduce their chance of losing. As it is in every business, some people enter without understanding the nitty-gritty, some people get into it well prepared. I know some people that win so much that betting companies limit their accounts or ban them. They have to be staking by proxies. Some people win in Casino so much that they will get a life ban. Please watch a documentary titled "breaking Vegas". You will see how a group of MIT mathematicians broke blackjack by counting numbers and they won so much that all Casino's in Las Vegas banned them.

I don't encourage betting but if you want to do it, stake what you can afford to lose. Also, stake with a plan. Your chance of winning by packing 20 draws in a slip is almost zero, maybe once in 20yrs. The chance of Leicester City winning Premier League is like once in 100 years except they got a new buyer like Man City, PSG and Co. Our people don't research enough before doing business. We are a bit lazy research-wise. The same applies to forex. I remember a few years ago when people are shouting forex all around, I warned them that Forex is not a child's play. Many burnt their fingers. They went for a day training and think they've understood all principles affecting currencies to go up or come down. What some Economists spent 5 or 7 years of their lives in the University to study, a small boy in Mushin thought a 4-hr training is enough for him to start trading.

Please, if it's IVF, tell our people so that we can remove the stereotype. That's what late Ibidun Ighodalo was fighting for. The majority of these multiple births at old age are not natural but most of them don't want to tell people because some will be calling their children test-tube babies.

You are right. Sebi video games even give you the option to test your brilliance but in virtual games, you are waiting for results that have already been programmed. Idiot. Virtual games.
I don't know how people think. Betting real games is an issue on its own but betting virtual programmable games is disgusting. You are programmed to lose except you win now and run away. There is no way you win now and run away. If you win, you wanna try more. In real games, your destiny is in the hands of human beings. In virtual games, your destiny is in the hands of bots. The bots have been programmed to always win.
Nigerians wise up, Akin Alabi, Kunle Soname and Co are smiling to the bank every weekend.

Weak leaders. Some stupid emotional followers will also fall for this. Great leaders are not determined by a cry. Great leaders take responsibilities. Great leaders act. Did you see Andrew Cuomo, Boris Johnson or Giuseppe crying up and down when their people are dying of COVID-19?

Maybe you've not heard about multiple streams of income.
You are highly disrespectful to women.. I hope you don't have one at home. You think she can't achieve ordinary Venza with her hard work. I have 3 workaholic sisters trying different businesses and they barely sleep. I would have given you a dirty slap if one of them bring a nice car home and you are asking if body is involved.

Gforce2015:
How much are they paying per show that she will put together to buy Venza car luxury. Of course, she uses her pussy in exchange for Venza.

Shut your stupid mouth up. Let's respect women. Why do we always think women can't achieve anything without their body. Will you be happy if someone asks your hard-working mum or sisters such question if they achieve something.

Congrats dear, I hope your body is not included grin if you know you know.
Christianity Etc › Re: I Have Made Up My Mind To Leave Religion, It's Not Worth It. by saajus:
Our Pastors acts are chasing people away from Christianity. Religion does not suspend your brain. America is a good example of a country that finds the balance. The country is littered with Churches too but they didn't suspend their brains. Although, their Pentecostal Churches misbehave too.
I will advise you to still embrace spirituality even if you are leaving organized religion. This world is truly beyond 3-dimensional space and there are many forces around that we can't see. Trust me, I have experienced a lot.
Embracing Jesus (Yehusua) is a form of spirituality. We've seen the name work several times and when we quote some of His words, they have worked wonders. The IFA people too have their own form of quotations (incantations) working for them. Muslims have their own too working for them. Find a form of spirituality you are comfortable with. I believe Christianity is an easy one with less stress to deal with. You don't need a goat or chicken for sacrifice. You only need to be sacrificing those animals into your mouth. You don't have to be rushing to kneel down 5x a day, you can pray while driving and reserve the kneeling for work out time. You don't need to pay any priest to cast a lot, just give that money to your needy neighbour. The religion is very easy, but the greediness in some of our Pastors make it looks like rocket science.
Romance › Re: Guys Never Invite A Lady To Pass The Night In Your Place (my Story) by saajus: 1:37am On Jun 19, 2020
Girls nowadays are very desperate. I don't know what is going on. In fact, they are now boldly selling charms to hook men. There are many vendors of such charms on Instagram.

EzzyCarter:
The main prayer is may we not jam agbako grin . No matter how careful one is, na God fit save person. Imagine bringing her over in the afternoon and something happens to her. Although OP definitely has a point. Bringing a girl to pass the night in times like these is high risk wink asides the whole girl dying scenario, consider your own safety as well.

Had this experience with a lady. We weren't dating but we used to hang out and feck each other's brains out. So she came to sleep over that night (her first time). We kept chatting and stuff and aunty kept asking me when I'd sleep. Lmao. As a real gee, I never sleep with my two eyes closed. She later slept off and then I did too. Woke up by midnight to see her bending over me in bed checking to see if I was still sleeping. So I pretended I was still sleeping. (I even gave her fake snore) grin . She stood up and tip-toed to where her bag was. She took out a razor blade and a small paper and came over to the bed. She softly grabbed a few strands of my hair, trying to cut it with the blade. Twas then I held her hand and I shoved her and rose up then she started begging and all. She said she was pranking me. What kinda prank is that? angryThe rest is history sha.
I cant imagine what would av happened if she had succeeded in stealing my hair tho... be careful out there guys. Not every lady you see is an angel sad . God save us all..
