Beetle: I'm sorry but I never experienced that during my Umrah. The question I asked myself whilst over there was, is Nigeria not an oil producing country? Is it not the same oil that we produce but alas Nigeria is so full of corruption.Hey Mr, Saudi is not better than Nigeria because they don't have corruption or because they are more hard-working than Nigerians, they seemingly seem to have all this opulence because naïve people like you spend valuable money (even if it is their last) there whenever they go on that unnecessary summer break called hajj. They pump they Saudi economy with much needed currency and come back to their poor country crying that government is not doing anything. The worst is that when they travel to that their summer break, they receive tons of racial slur from lowly arabs of all people! And to top it up, they come back with some terrorist inclination |
So they look down on blacks in Saudi Arabia? See me see wahala oo! I always look down on these Arabs working in dirt at Setraco and Arab contractors. I look down on them everyday, Down I mean, it is surprising if you say they look down on us, Govt should sponsor by transport so that I will go there and help you all look down on them. No! I change my mind, as a Rastafarian, I need government sponsorship to bankroll my pilgrimage to Jamaica during summer. |
musiwa26: if mandela was in nigeria. they will kill him in jail. so you can see why nobody want to be a mandela.. over the satellite pictures.. that person will die in jail.Obasanjo died in jail abi? |
You mean wonderland is owned by terrorists? Ha! Baba God thankyou oo! Psalm 23 now sums up my life as I disport myself many at times there. |
"N200 is too small to take the life of 3 students?" Who are you saying this to? Is it at the peaceful protesters? Did they plan for the death of their comrades? Some people can be unbelievable in their thinking pattern. Because you have enough money at your disposal doesn't mean you talk down on people. Those students died from the bullets of those whose primary aim are to protect them. The question N200 is too small for peoples life should be directed back to the Nigerian police. They have being inclined to shoot at innocent road users because of N20. So when next someone does not pay the N20 bribe to the police and the person is shot, all these silly questioners will say "N20 is too small for one's life". You people need surgery to correct your thinking pattern. 3 souls have been lost at their prime, asking any other question other than the resignation of the IG of Murder (sorry Police) is too bad. NLC have been going on strike over N20 increase in Fuel Na Today? So the whole country that joined them in observing such stikes are fools abi?. You all silly questioners should bury your head in the sand. |
I understand with this story well being that my girlfriend is a Muslim and I a christian. Her parents have no problem with me being christian and frankly have never raised the issue up ( though we are still courting, not yet married) my mom seems to be the future mountain we'll cross. She insist either the girl converts or its no deal. I personally don't mind, and I would never cajole her to convert. That thought of letting her feign being a christian and when we are married she can do whatever she is comfortable with crossed my mind. This is what I'll do. Fight for your love, the strongest of love are fought for, let your parents know you love him and the religion doesn't matter to you ( yes! You are the daughter they raised, you have still not change, only that you refused being a bigot) give them convincing arguments. I have seen christian couples whose marriage fell off the cliff and one of my uncle is a muslim and his wife a christian several years after they wedded. This are the sort of argument that wins there reasoning eventually. If the man is gonna convert to a christian or the woman to a muslim, that decision should be of the persons volition, not that he/she is compelled due to marriage. Trust me, that kind of conversion don't last. Sustenable marriage and not fueled by sameness of religions but by love and mutual respect. What are you even saying, your great grand mother might not even be a christian, so what's the fuss about. Would they rather she marries a south korean christian to a Nigerian Muslim? Hypocrites. @ OP, don't pretend jaare, fight for your love and win, all the best. |
Its only on Nairaland people come up and write rubbish, what is "too small" in N200. That's too much jaare, N200 everyday X 25 days in a month =N5,000 X 4 months in a semester =N20,000 almost the price for school fees, that is extortion, trust me, this money looks small outside but on campus ( campus algebra), it is much, do you even know how money flies when one is in school? Comparing it with private university is iniquitous, private university students are by the very status of being admitted well to do. Are you telling that village boy who's mom that sells moi moi in the village square to spend N5000 on transport by shuttle, N2000 on bike, N3000 for school material before you factor in pocket money, feeding money, babes package and so on. I'm not in Akwa Ibom not to talk of Uniuyo but I understand with this students. ASUU has made it possible for professors witj scanty managerial skills to mount that lofty seat of VC that is why all of them are systematically killing off SUG's. SUG's these days don't represent Nigerian student instead serve as lackeys to school Management. The Nigerian police has forever lost my respect. FOREVER!!! I have seen where protesting students in Uniabuja were attacked by Fulani thugs and the police watched indifferently, when the students started overpowering the thugs, the police pummeled them with tear gas. Police shot a student in Uniben, now this. And the have a historic litany of gunning down innocent Nigerian students. I would have joined voices in calling for the resignation of the IG but why waste my time, he won't resign, he doesn't even know if something wrong has been committed. PROTEST is the highest form of patriotism and this students in that ivory tower have done so, unfortunately, the, the police have proven themselves to be enemies of the Nigerian student and the Nigerian state as more students have died by the bullets of Nigerian police than by MEND and Boko Haram combined. ADEUS to those fallen comrade in Uniuyo. Emmanuel Oche. |
anishe: Greatest Akokite, my Alma Mata, the Univewrsity of First Choice.Just show yourself out that you can't pass simple dictation |

Popowaa: This question has been on my mind for sm time and i want to knw what guys term as sexy.Walking on a street, I see a big yansh, it gets me excited. I now increase my steps to catch a glimpse of the face, (fineface is sexy). I now go down low with my view,( busty is sexy), I now slow down again ti see the big yansh, this time to see how the pair of yansh dance along. I now say in my mind " THIS IS ONE SEXY MAMA". Then I ACT........... So OP, that is it: BIG YANSH, Fine face Full and pointing booby BIG YANSH again (especially the dancing kind) |
Thank you for the clarification. So please edit the topic and MODs, close the thread. |
pastilo: ...sometimes last year to be precise (August,2013)...I want to believe these are typographic errors. It is quite confusing. |
which one come be this again na? What's wrong with slim guys? I am slim and all my GF loved me with that feature being one of their many reasons. If you or someone you know is treated in ways to be frowned at, I think it would be for some other reason, not because they are slim. |
clemz85: @sakaguchi, a market U do not know do exist ok.Hahahaha what was the first sentence you made after seeing the wet bed...lols |
Its too bad, but I especially cannot tolerate 8,6,5,3,2, oh my God! I can't tolerate 10,9,7,4,1. OP you are right, all this are intolerable |
Swaggot00: thank u o. Oya leave d threadNa lie you lie oo! I no go leave the thread. Na public thread na! |
Swaggot00: saka' post ur own gf pic make we see how her yansh biDon't mind me oo! Your girlfriend, (if truly she is) is fine. When you post her pics, hope you know people will compliment her and others will bash her. That's what you get in a public forum. My girl is not on Nairaland and I think it would be wrong of me uploading her pics for comparison on a forum. Dude! Its just wrong. I MAY use her as my profile pic but posting her for comparison sake is plane "HIGHSCHOOL" sorry bro. Take it from me sha, your babe fine, but me like fine babe with big yansh oo! Hope we are cool? |
Goddon32: hmm, wel dat is nice am also a proud nigerian, am just a bit carried arway by ur advartAdvert you mean, abi? |
Swaggot00: could tolerate dat word in bold but i wont tolerate d one you wrote in capitals, pls lemme repeat dis ' if you aint contributing to the trend or postin a pic please exit the trend 'Don't take it that I'm here to dis you, in your sagacity, you thought it wise to put your girl out on a public forum and asking for people to do same, well, to me, I think that is bad because it OBJECTIFIES women. But what can I say, many people do it on Nairaland this days (sadly). When your babe is objectified as such, you need not cry out, as you caused it. By the way, telling people to leave "THE TREND" is wrong, totally wrong, it is "LEAVE THE THREAD" |
@OP look at that, standard yansh!!! |
I don't know if I'm happy for her, but I'm so very happy for the boy. I wish it was I who found her. |
Long post...too long. You lost me in the middle, plus, I think the post and its results are not a true representation of Nigeria. Another copy and paste!!! |
Of all the yeye question I've heard on Nairaland, this one takes the price, "Is it advisable to marry a non_virgin?" How old school is that? Marriage should be about love to me and that's it. If you love a person, you gloss over all his/her imperfection. If you can't, I guess you don't love her much. Gosh! Is not being a virgin an imperfection at this age again? |
See her BONY yansh |
Hmm, a cat that went wild in the bush and showed up after sometime would sooner or later go back to the wild, this time, for good. |
sorry oo! No need to tell me, this is from a recent experience you had. Take heart biko |
jntyjnty007: No need to be, I just don't go round introducing him to people as my spouse, I use the word husband. I would find it odd calling him my spouse.Na wa oo! Its either you are an English Professor or you don't know English at all. |
Popowaa: I have a friend who of recent says she suspect her baby boy is gay. These got me confused for sometime you know? |
Eya! That's too bad oo! But she should look at the bright side, him no go the pursue everything (sorry, I mean anything) in skirt. |
The answer to your question is that nowadays, people sit at home and concoct laughable stories, they now bring it on nairaland and phrase it in a question. @OP, I have heard so many good formulated stories on nairaland before, this one is a bad one. |
