My problem with lastma and vio is that they leave yellow buses and focus only on private car owners. They only focus on a yellow bus driver that refuses to settle because going by Lagos traffic law,no yellow bus should be on Lagos roads. |
My problem with lastma and vio is that they leave yellow buses and focus only on private car owners. Once a law becomes discriminatory,it loses relevance. |
Next thing there will be shouts of rigging when the final results come out and APC wins. You get early results of lead in one LGA and some people immediately start extrapolating that to arrive at a conclusion, then when the full results shows a drastic change in fortunes, they start shouting fraud. Yes,there will be fraud in Nigerian elections,it's here to stay, but only a s tupid, starkly illiterate or mentally retarded sitting governor would either lose as an incumbent or his announced loses. The electoral system, voting system and judiciary favours an incumbent or announced candidate of an incumbent. At best in any state election, there are 1million voters. You need at most about 500k voters to win.In some states like Kogi, you need just about 300k-400k votes cast to win. At ₦10k per each voter induced, you need at most ₦5billion to win cash wise.A governor's security votes per month is at least ₦3b. You could also intimidation tactics to either persuade or dissuade another thousands, intimidate or bribe INEC and security to do your thing. At worst, you can write a result, force the presiding officer at the LG to declare it and wait for the courts to authenticate your votes one way or the other. That is the reason Kogi will return APC,Bayelsa Diri and Imo Uzodinma now matter how people claim he is hated, all the atrocities he is said to have committed, how against him ipob his and even if there is blackout till thy kingdom come! |
This guy you are a clown. Infinix Note 10 pro that is ₦158k even at Jumia,is what you want to sell at ₦170k for used one! If you see ₦80k just rush and collect. |
Even if inec as presently and formerly constituted,is to conduct an election in just one LGA in Nigeria, there will still be issues of electoral rigging. The system and personnel in this case are just bad and it will continue like this for a long time. Nigerians should realize the failure of the country was confirmed during the era of buhari, that a man that was hailed as being frugal, lives in a modest house in Kaduna, claims not to have property anywhere else in Nigeria and even claimed to have borrowed money to buy his presidential nomination form, could supervise the most corrupt 8 years Nigeria has ever known since 1914,shows the country maynot be redeemed. When Jega was the chairman in 2015 when violence of unimagined magnitude, gripped rivers state, when election results for both presidential and gubernatorial elections came out, there was a reported voters turnout of about 70% on a day when gunshots were even rampant in many polling units! Yet,the results were accepted!! |
Congrats, but there is actually a 3months window period before the virus shows in your blood ![]() However,I still feel you would come out negative because: (1)The ladies you slept with may all be negative due to the fact that hiv is not as rampant as people believe. (2)Sometimes it takes high viral load in a HIV positive individual, not mere having the virus,to transmit to a partner. (3)A positive man is more likely to transmit the virus to a woman than the converse due to anatomical structures at play during sex. That is why the commonest and easiest way to transmit the virus is through blood contact, for eg,from an infected person that you share needles with, from unscreened blood during transfusion or from a HIV positive ga y man that has sex with another ga y because during that abhorrent sexual act, wounds and sores would be created in the other partner causing the virus to easily enter the blood through such wounds. Infact, HIV became rampant and spread from the activities of gays and intravenous drug addicts/abusers. |
Imagine the effrontery. He sent her money for Uber, physical cash, she collected it and didn't go to his house. She said she wasn't comfortable. So why you didn't f ucking tell him,'if this money is for transport to come to your place, please I can't,send me your account, let me refund it'. Yet,she took the money and didn't keep up with her end and now complaining when he revenged! Her mind at that Uber money time will be that she has caught a maga! |
Westwood2580:Nigerians with their wild beliefs without reasoning and facts. Mr man you are not getting shorter, other people are just getting taller than you in height so you now feel you now feel relatively shorter. Live with life the way you are and focus on more important things! Yuck!! |
Jewessgratitud3:Every thing, Nigerians will be calling on need to hold unto God. So why didn't she get saved or was she not religious enough? Mr Ibu that got his leg amputated must be a sinner so he was punished by God while the righteous people that serve God with all strength and might are enjoying life to the fullest,no worries,no hassles? Hypocrites! Those that don't worship God or even believe in his existence are making giant strides in other nations, using commonsense and help of science to figure out puzzles and solve problems that confronts humans and societies,we here be laying everything as resolving around God? Does it mean Nigerians need to make further sacrifices and shed countless blood including that of this woman before God will answer us? |
I don't believe in witches and village people affecting someone's destiny, but this MUtd case is not ordinary. I believe is the way DeGea especially was treated that's affecting the club. How can one explain a utd cruising home, then a Rashford,an attacker, not a defender, that has never received a red card in his life,if I am not mistaken, suddenly being remotely controlled by invisible forces to make that kind of tackle and all of a sudden the game has turned on it's head! |
So only 14% will be voting for Silva with his heavy war chest and APC machinery behind him. That alone makes the entire poll a pr job. Even if Silva will lose,it would be far closer, with him getting at least 35% of the votes. Melaye too would not win, despite all his noise. Despite how far Nigeria's election still has to go,but we have made a lot of strides in conduct of elections,so the days of one candidate scoring 80% or even 70% and his closest rival scoring 29 or even 30% are gone, even with elements of rigging still present. The norm will be 60% -40%,at worst |
Jokerman:Your own augmentin must be coming from space |
Timothy89:The concern should not be for the Op Because he has clearly given up his freedom,as he would likely cause an accident when he takes any car out,and thus be in prison soon;the concern should be for that of the innocent lives his folly may cause to lose their lives. Even people who were taught still need time and grace to take a car out to the road themselves, talkless of online learning! |
kettykin:In your little mind now,you would be claiming intelligent and think you have made sense? |
Healthcube:Where did you pull this statistic from,of course from your Nigerian a rse. It's in Nigeria,a full grown, educated adult would just wake up,think of a topic and pulls out any statistic that comes to his/her head, without asking his/herself:"eventhough I didn't do any study to arrive at this statistic, but does it even sound logical"? Going by this your beer parlor statistic,it means that for every 10 births in Nigeria,8 are by CS!In a still largely conservative birthing society!! Even in the most developed of countries in the western world,in terms of openness and advanced medical care, the average is 33% CS rate, but in Nigeria you are claiming that 8 in 10 births end up in CS. At least you don't need to be a professor of statistics to know that you just have to look around you, find out the women that have given birth over the past year and find out how many were by CS or natural birth. It's a simple, yet logically sensible way to arrive at a rough guide to this kind of statistic. |
Neckpresser101:What do you mean by use of lost in constructing the heading:"Why .....lost ...."? If you cannot construct a single sentence of just 6 or 7 words, how can you make a proper point? |
enipe:If your husband is not dead, call him on the phone na. All these poorly cooked stories used to beg |
Why did someone open another thread this same morning saying the naira is now back above 1k on P2P. This is all confusing |
naptu2:Naptu,why would u use the word "SEEMS"? It's clearly abandoned and unused. Infact, what is left is for abokis that deal in scraps to be made aware of this site for them to come buy the parts as scraps. |
NapoleonHill:Even in the samples he cited, the trend wasn't consistent year in,year out. There were gaps in the years, some 3,some 2 and 1,showing those years he conveniently skipped, his hypothetical trend didn't hold. Someone can equally use the converse:use those years he skipped to show that the Naira consistently failed to do well during this period. |
Athena6:The average working, honest Nigerian in Nigeria is happy that the Naira is appreciating against the dollar. |
Bahamas95:Sorry if I sounded harsh. You were giving the impression that it's cheaper watching movies online than with DStv which I debunked with comparative cost analysis. You even didn't mention your free WiFi in your original post. Yes,with competition,DStv may have been cheaper, but comparing it to online viewing of programmes is being naive in my view. |
Bahamas95:Funniest post of the year. To download a movie in HD you will need about 2-3G.That's about 1k data to download a single movie. To watch live football in HD you spent at least 1k for data! If you do that daily for a month, just downloading one movie and watching football, you end up spending at least 45k.You have not added watching other things o! Some of you people want to sound smart, but end up sounding so f oolish. It's like the st you'd argument people make that why pay say 20-30k a month for "NEPA" light that is not 24hours,why not just be using Generator..If u use your gen just the few hours in the night you must buy at least 1k if not 2k fuel.30days is 30k that you can't use to iron clothes, put on your freezer regularly or use hot plate and electric cooker. Arguments without sitting down to use commonsense to calculate the relative cost and benefits!! |
loswhite:Exactly my thoughts too. It's also not as easy as it is was posted for you to just take kids away from someone at the airport. Police would arrest everyone first and take to the station. What if the woman was kidnapping the kids? The thing about some of these half baked or single sided stories is that the posters assume they are dealing with illiterates or what self? |
First 8 months in trading made ₦4m as a beginner ![]() |
optimusprime2:I detest Tinubu because see him as another utterly corrupt man hyped up by propaganda of lies about not just his educational history, but his capacity, but anyone residing in Nigeria, that does business and earns income in Nigeria, should not wish that the horrifying depreciation in the value of the ₦ continues and would so wish that Tinubu revives the economy. The effects, even at this ₦1000/$1 are already devastating all round. What happens if it continues getting worse! |
optimusprime2:Even in the most developed countries, central banks intervene in the currency market when it starts spiralling out of control. If the government and CBN don't intervene in the market,at the rate the ₦ is sliding,by January or April next year,we might be looking at $1 to ₦3000! |
Religion and porn are the two most common practices in Nigeria. Is it not ironic, probably the highest number of church and mosque goers in Africa and one of the highest in the world, yet pornography, corruption, thrive here the most. The one that rattles me the most is the sheer hypocrisy and duplitous life in the North and of northerners:they rightfully condemn LGBTQ in public, but I can bet anyone the North has the most gays. They destroy alcoholic drinks and cripple such biz concerns, but the highest consumers of cigarettes, hard drugs and other illegal brain altering substances are found in the North. They condemn prostitution and promiscuous sexual acts, but the kinds of sexual perversion that occurs in the North, including finding joy and pleasure in f ucking under age girls and the growing lesbian acts there,is amazing. Generally Nigerians are one of the worst hypocrites in the world, they condemn the whites in public for some acts, but do same or even worse behind the curtains. It's in Nigeria people would dehumanize a lady for dressing skimpy but in private, they would not even want to be associated or have any sexual encounter with a lady that dresses like our mothers of old, preferring a lady to dress as wildly and sexually as they see in porn videos! |
Ah,pure load of bunkum. Your friend collected drink from his friend and within that short period and in that public gathering, the friend was able to sneak a poison into the drink that led to his death! It's this kind of ancient village mentality that has kept many Nigerian societies and people down because they refuse to investigate the real cause of death but believe it's the handiwork of an envious friend or relation. A man becomes chairman of a CDA of just 2 or even 1 street,or even chairman of an association of just 10-15 people, goes to a function attended by other people with food and drinks brought to the occasion, bought from a drinks or food store and shared by everyone,he falls sick after and it's concluded he was poisoned by one envious friend!! What I always ask with these ridiculous stories are these: (1)so within that short interval of collection of the drink,in that public space, the alleged culprit was quickly able to pour the poison into the drink without being seen. Or did he go to the factory or the drinks seller to tell them to put poison into one particular drink, then cock it back? (2)He must have kept the poison in a nylon if it's in powder form or bottle if in liquid form.So how did he manage to pour that in in a specific drink, hide the nylon or container without anyone noticing?Or was the poisoning planned by every other person in that meeting or gathering? How was he even able to know the exact quantity that would do such fatal damage. See,at worse, these are the scenarios that usually happen:at the gathering the victim(your friend in this case)ingested an infected drink or food(that may have even originated from himself)fell sick as anyone would depending on the level of immunity.Instead of taking him for medical care immediately, they believe he was poisoned and only native way would be the solution.By the time they had tried native and it failed, the germs had already multiplied and cause severe organ damage. The other likely scenario is that he had an underlying health issue.Coincidentally and maybe exarcebated by the particular food or drink taken, the health issue flares up and things go downhill from there till death. I have seen instances of people after taking "nkwobi" as appetising as it is,fall severely sick from either the potash or the poor hygienic preparation and were just lucky to survive after appropriate and prompt treatment. There are some alcoholic drinks that also cause severe abdominal pain and disorder in some people, either because they are fake or the person took them on an empty tommy or they just reacted with whatever he took. The chance of someone being singled out to be poisoned in a public gathering is pretty low,but of course those whose mindset already made up would disagree. If deliberate poisoning was that easy and commonplace then every week several people would be dying from all the gatherings and parties that occur every single weekend and joints would be reporting deaths on a daily basis because everyday groups or friends gather at beer parlours and joints to socialise daily. |
But how did she expect to collect the money since he wouldn't have made her the beneficiary on his death,as she is only a girlfriend? |
