Politics › Re: LASG To GRV: Sanwo-olu Never Paid Legal Fees From State Funds by seborrhic: 12:27pm On Nov 21, 2023
Anyone that thinks a governor in Nigeria pays legal fees from his pocket or salary must be living in cuckoo land.
A country where security votes is non accountable is expecting a sitting governor to be drawing money for legal fees or indeed any other expense from his personal fund.
Jokers!
It is wrong but that is the system we have come to embrace and live with.
Buhari was the one many thought had the integrity and the austerity of living to correct the various anomalies in the system of governance and accountability that was existing;but it was later found that he was not only a scam of a politician and human but neither had the desire, intellect or the will to carry out any of the propaganda his election campaigns over 12years were based on.
Politics › Re: Sanwo-olu Approved Millions For Renovation Of Lagos CP Residence Days To Electio by seborrhic: 11:10pm On Nov 20, 2023
The massive corruption under Lagos State government did not start with Sanwo-Olu and won't end with him.
Infact, their former "starboy",Fashola officially made it sort of a law not to ask about the finances and expenditure of the state goverment.
I feel all these revelations are just the tip of the iceberg because if an indepth investigation is done into the Lagos State government finances and a relative comparison is done with other state governments vis-a-vis income and expenditure it may be found that a grand heist has been going on since the days of Tinubu when he f ooled those ready to be fool ed that he made the state self financing after Obasanjo stopped it's allocation.
They say they have since turned Lagos to a modern city and I begin to ask is it a different Lagos or the same one of Agege,Ikotun,Igando,Ikorodu,Ajah,Mile 2,Apapa,Oshodi,Iyana Ipaja and Baruwa?

Poor journalism or typo from Vanguard.

airsaylongcome:
I am not justifying delayed salaries or whatnot, but in my little experience, staff often incorrectly assume a lot. That there is an inflow of cash does not mean that there is cash liquidity in the business. That credit receipt you guys have seen may have already been spent before it even came in. Overdue invoices or credit purchases may have already finished the money before una see the inflow
Another thank you.
Someone working in a sales outfit or even restaurant for eg,sees daily sales of 500k.He or she does the mental calculation and sums millions and begin to castigate the entire management or owner for paying peanuts or delaying salaries.
The person forgets that of that 500k sale in a day,the inventory maybe up to 400k or even 450k just to restock. From the 50k u buy fuel,u pay for sundrey overheads, pay tax, utilities then salary.
Not justifying any company that's doing well and not paying well or on time, but money credited does not EVER means that's the net income, unless it's a yahoo yahoo business or the owner has another magical source of income

I managed an hotel at surulere. A very good location with less standard rooms and very little customers when i resumed as the superviso/manager.

I am a very simple and godly person and as such, i can work with little staff and push lots of work in less time as i make sure my guys are okay evn with the little pay from the hotel owner.
I make sure monies are resides on the sides to compensate, get dinner for my guys and I, and also weekend bonuses.

But then a woman would always be a woman.

The owner died and one of his son visited Naija and started dating one of my receptionist and u know when ladies feel they sleeping with the boss, they did auditing and found out a shortage of 70k and she the receptionist told him the son i take some amount of money for personal use.

Iv been the one doing normal accounting as its a small hotel like that.

My point am driving at is when u at the top, have some form of strictness, and dont open up with your guys too much as they can become betrayals cuz of money.
When Nigerians are narrating a story, the other side is always the bad or guilty one.The narrator is always the good one.
I bet if the other side of the story is told, yours may start looking padded to suit your narrative.

Irony1:
Dude where is the 927m on meals because even what you put, the entry for meals is not there. This is the thing with Nigerians we cannot read, if majority of those commenting could read, you will see desperation of plaindealer in pushing a narrative, just to drown any form of attacks on LASG based on Doherty's exposee.
God gave everyone a brain but the average Nigerian has mortgaged part of it for God knows what.
The Nigerian would first act before using the brain. That is why when someone shouts thief, thief, you see them bringing tyres and matchsticks to burn the person.
Someone shouts my p rick is missing and the accused is already lynched even before any of the mob remembers to use commonsense to find out if actually the joystick is missing.
The social media has made things worse.Blackmail, propaganda and lies now rule because even if you destroy a man or business reputation leading to his/her death or collapse if the business because of the lies spread,no one holds posters of such stories responsible and culpable

No one needs to be a soothsayer to know Obaseki would rather commit suicide than allow Shaibu succeed him.
With what Shaibu has passed through under Obaseki, the governor must be the greatest d unce on earth to allow Shaibu become governor knowing fully well the implications for his own post governorship life.
Business › Re: Leatherback Denies EFCC Allegations Against The Company by seborrhic: 2:07pm On Nov 19, 2023
This is more like a pr stunt for leatherback or whatever it's called.
Leatherback complied, went to EFCC office everytime, provided 2000 pages of documents etc.
I then begin to ask myself,'is it not a Nigerian company we are talking about here'?
Nigerian company that wants to cut corners and would set up today and the executive will become billionaires in a year or 2 of setting up the business?Abeg!
Unless EFCC doesn't want to do its job or is no longer interested or doing a shoddy job,the average Nigerian fintech is an enterprise built and sustained on shady, scammish grounds.

You don’t have to buy Uk drugs if you can not afford them, instead of argumenting buy Fleming
There is always a cheaper alternative and most times those alternatives are even more effective
Why would you buy argument 25,000 when Fleming is 3500and infact more effective
My brother,the thing tire me!
I was even wondering if the ampiclox pack I bought 3500 is fake or the Vitamin E x 50 someone bought for ₦3k plus is just powder because the prices they are putting up there are strange.
Artemether, Lumefantrine (Antimalarial) unbranded but still effective is about 1500-2k,but I guess someone will soon come and say the price is now 15k.
In India, same drugs used in the western world are 10times cheaper.
Americans cross over to Mexico to buy drugs, same effectiveness because they are 19-20 times cheaper.
It's like going to a pharmacy in Banana Island to buy drugs when you can easily source cheaper, same effective drugs just by going to Ajah or isale Eko even if you factor in transport cost.

When did seretide become 50k not to talk of 52k.
U people should fear God for once na.
I just called the pharmacy now and it's 20k.

Why do Nigerians like spreading evil news?
They also told us that ampiclox is 10k per satchet.Meaning a pack of ampiclox is now 100k.Even if it's imported from the USA
The same ampiclox that is 5k per pack wholesale price.Even Beecham ampiclox per pack of 10 satchets is not up to 10k.
The problem we sometimes have in this country is poor journalism, scam bloggers and the fact that some people find joy in spreading false news so long it makes their opponent or government in power bad.
PS.People actually confirming it's between 48-52k.Thats alarming

But ego and personal ambition will not allow such a scheme see the light of day.
Just like APC was formed from an almagamation of parties,so should a new mega party carved out from the remaining parties be formed.
But of course, when time for choosing the presidential or governorship candidates of this new party comes, ego and selfish ambition will see everything go burst.

How many times has he called for strike because of the hardship in the country?
In far developed nations of the western world, strikes and protests are called by labour unions over soaring inflation, killings and even something as basic as increase in prices of stable items like wheat, bread or rice.
Here, they are going on strike because of one man that is looking out for himself!!!
Politics › Re: INEC Changes Figures Of Accredited Voters In Kogi Election On IReV Portal by seborrhic: 11:39am On Nov 14, 2023
only a slowpoke incumbent loses an election in Nigeria
With your state security votes alone as governor, that is unaccounted for,you can bribe voters, bribe INEC officials and if the election goes to the courts, bribe the judges.
So no one should be surprised and anyone expecting the Bello, APC anointed candidate to lose, must have been born in Nigeria of the future, not of the past or today.

My fellow Nairalanders,

Please help me look into this before I swing into action so people will not say am a bad man.

Yesterday being Sunday, I decided to use my car on Uber so to make extra income. There is this lady I picked( 1:13pm) from Egbeda to Command road and the fare happens to be #4,500.

I actually have the link to arrest them without going to his house. I have link to the Commissioner of Police Lagos State, I only pity them because they will parade them as scammers and it going to be a big case
.
So because of ₦4500 you would involve the commissioner of police and get them paraded as criminals?
It's only a f oolish and stupid commissioner of police that would not cut you off his link and warn you not to involve his office in any such case next time or you get arrested for abuse of office.
Any little connection some of you have, you want to abuse it.
How does it even sound in your mouth?
Because of a failed transaction of 4500 you want to contact the CP?
What of your local police station.Of course you don't want to pass through the official process of reporting. You want to harass them with your cp link.
If your type now have a case of a million, probably you would involve the IG if you have his link!
