confusion247: My guy you are wrong, This man is fade up with the rot in his state and he was prepared to face the music even the highest price "death". That man would have been in jail by now if he have tried to be anonymous. EFCC is now an arm of corrupt politicians so he might have tried them before opening the can of worms. He is a brave man. GOD will protect him. Please how many people on NL will be willing to support him financially now? In all things , you need wisdom. I stand by my comments, his actions were not wise. Nothing will change now. His life is in danger , he has no livelihood and he is certainly not going to win an award for his actions in a country where corruption is rife. |
sylve11: 95% of the people who commented on being patient are hypocrites.I agree. Until It happens to you, you don't know how you will react . Especially for those men still under their parents apron strings. Some husbands will bow to pressure from parents and friends faster than you and I can say jump. I have seen it so many times. Until they realise, the problem is with them . Then everything will go cold on the " threats" front. All so called "friends & family" will vanish. Everyone including the husband will suddenly wake up to the realisation that only GOD can give children. Even with all the IVF treatment in the world, in GOD's OWN time only, will He give a child. If you marry 3 million men or women, only in God's own time will you be blessed with the fruit of the womb. |
GboyegaD: The Federal Government on Monday announced the cancellation of its contract agreement with Bi-Courtney on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. The multi-billion dollar contract would have seen the company re-construct the road and then manage it for several years. The company would have made its profit by tolling and taxing users of the road, Nigeria’s busiest inter-state road.Nigeria. No accountability whatsovever. So what did the accounts of the state government show for the multi-billion naira paid? |
chronique: It's quite important to me. I'm about 6ft,3inches tall & I can't marry a short girl,no matter how pretty she looks. Minimum height for me should be 5"9.Good but Be prepared to rear giants! |
omowolewa: Where is whistle blowers protection law, where are are the activists...at a cemetry near you |
What baffles me is that despite the publicity, another stupid person will attempt the same thing next week and make headline news. |
It seems most of these criminals are Igbo/ibo. It seems criminality runs in their veins. Everything is them, them , them.... ![]() |
Suing them will not work in Nigeria. You have to hit them where it hurts. The best thing is to put them to shame by embarrassing them and give them bad publicity. If it was me, I will give an interview to the BBC and put it on YouTube. I assure you within 24 hours, they will issue a grovelling apology plus substantial damages. |
100% for whistleblowing 0% for wisdom The civil servant is a BIG fool! With these kind of information, why put it on Facebook? And if he was going to put it on a social network, then do it anonymously Why didn’t he pass on the relevant information to the appropriate authorities (EFCC) in Nigeria? Even then, do it anonymously? The next thing we will hear is of his death in suspicious circumstances. He deserves to be sacked. To me, he is the biggest fool on the planet. |
aribisala0: Very few people, i.e. THE GREAT YOU and who elseNigerians are enemies of the truth. I stand by my comment that the posting and or Sanusi comments are fairly meaningless to the ordinary struggling NIGERIAN . How many people will understand what the journalist had written. Have you never read growth report on other countries on the net? is this how it is written? What does it mean to the lay man trying to borrow money, the unemployed graduate, the pensioners , university students etc It no wonder the nation is in a shambles ! |
Lanreclassic: Whose is sanusi blaming for his woos?Abi o! Instead of complaining , he should go back to his drawing board . |
I have gone longer than that so I know what I am talking about
Remember, this is NL. Only the enlightened will appreciate what you said. The "Michael Douglases" and "Eric Bennets of Nigeria and NL will never understand hence the sceptism. Don't take it personally. If everyone agreed with u, HIV will long be extinct! |
sexkillz: If you love her, you will wait. This is all that needs to be said. Sex alone will not sustain a marriage |
sexkillz: If you love her, you will wait. This is all that needs to be said . |
Tell the truth . Nothing but the whole truth. Ask God for forgiveness whilst she is at it. A liar deserves no pity or respect. |
Poor journalism. Shoddy use of English language You have to read in between the lines to understand what the article is trying to say. Hence , Very few people will be able to understand this intelligent post. For once , it's not about women. For Nigeria to grow , it needs foreign investment but even it's country men invest abroad rather than in Nigeria due to instability so we still have a long way to go. Only God can help Nigeria . No one man can rule and make the necessary changes that needs to be made at central govt level. |
Johnwizzy: Lemme add mineThese are the kind of gutter people we are talking about. Would you talk about the women in your family like this to their faces ? I don't think so! Please don't do it on NL too. It doesn't make u look cool , it makes u look like a small ignorant boy! |
In this day and age, I can't believe anyone will still eat at any family or even public function. There are a lot of wicked people out there and they will stop at nothing to get their own way. |
How many children have access to the net in this country? Even many adults don't have access let alone their parents |
lekkie073: mr oga, no other african nation has anything better to offer. we r not talking of access to social amenities, we are talking of what d economy has to offer. i have been to ethiopia......steady power supply, good roads.....but d economy has little or nothing to offer an investor....talking of a country dat has only one mobile telecoms carrier. btw, i plan to visit botswana some weeks time....Ok . Then that's something differently entirely! Point taken. |
Why now? Didn't u see her height when u first considered dating her? This is baffling to me. |
You don't need to go very far. check out the comments on NL topics and you will be amazed at some of the aggression coming thru from strangers to strangers. Nigerians are naturally rude and aggressive by nature. They certainly do not have any gentle spirit. It runs through the whole family structure and leaks into their daily walk of life including work. It starts from the moment they wake up till they go to bed at night. Their aggression start from their wives, neighbours, children, strangers, drivers etc. They shout and do nothing but shout all day long. Even on NL, people abuse each others parents because they do not agree on opinions. It's no wonder, every country deports them when they can't stand their attitude and behaviour towards other fellow beings. |
virtuoso01: Moral of this story:....and for all those armed robbers and their supporters (who support criminality ) on NL hiding under shady names. |
Ucheosefoh: Wetin carry them go there in the first place I rather stay here than live in any other African countries cus they got nothing to offerPride speaking ! Do you know anything about Botswana ? Have you ever stepped your foot outside Nigeria at all? If you have, you would have a different opinion about the shambles we call Nigeria . |
Mgbadike80: Lagos deports nigerians so why shouldn't botswana? And the fact that most fellows here don't know that botswana is a very progressive country shows d level of ignorance in nigeria. A nation of educated illiterates. You can say it again. Nigeria is a nation of selfish Aliens! It doesn't matter where they go, everyone hates them. Even Nigers hates Nigers, or why do we burn out own citizens like bush meat? |
Another one about women. NL forum cannot survive without women. Almost every topic is women this , women that..... Yet all you do is disrespect them and use gutter language (e.g pucxy, shaxxg, suxxck) when talking about them. We all know the world itself cannot survive without women so please a little bit of respect sometimes will not go amiss. My own mother is a constant source of inspiration to me, and becos of that alone ,I cannot speak about women the way all these women haters on NL do. |
binger: Nah in Nigeria, there are more males than females...you can google itInteresting. I thought they said there were 5 women to 1 man in Nigeria. |
emusmith: Your guess is right... Watching your thread carefully before it leads to insults on the Church. Because that is all we ever see on NL. Its like the owners have a clue that issues concerning church always produce a lot of comments... It is well sha!Exactly my thoughts. There are a lot if Christian haters on NL and that's all you attract with these kind of threads. You end up arguing with People who don't know anything about Christianity, the bible or God. Its frustrating. Genuine believers should avoid this kind of thread on future. |
floriana: The evil man finally does a good deed! Impressive! But what are the strings attached? cos I trust Jim to milk bigger payoff from the system for this. He can never be totally altruistic.Evil man ![]() Please tell us what have you done for the flood victims personally ? |
You do good people call you evil. You don't do anything , they call u indifferent. You do something bad, they blame it on the system. It goes to show that no matter what you do , you will never please human beings. |
Kamxin: The catholic church have the holy spirit(Jn 16:12-13), thats why writing and interpreting our works is possible. Let dis be clear any written works by humans is an intellectual property, and so the issue of copyright is coming into play. Thats why you can't remove a single word from the koran (pirating) legally because it is a violation of copyright. You have lost your way. the Question of the poster remains unanswered . Does each bible text have a fixed interpretation? Or do you need to apply to the patent office to answer the question? |

The end is near true and true. Even non- Christians have suddenly become experts in the word of God and bible. Spewing all sorts of rubbish. |
