So happy for her! |

Pictures don't lie , unless they've been photoshop'd! lol! Thanks for shedding light on the actual state of these estates, Lawyer. |
Why does anyone want to go China illegally ? |
It shouldn't be abolished but should only be passed when guilt for a crime deserving death is proved beyond reasonable doubt. Our problem is the corrupt police and corrupt judiciary who are quite happy to send innocent people to undesrved deaths. |
People should be encouraged to adopt children/give them up for adoption, not buy/sell them! The child is at risk if being bought/sold. |
One of the conditions of the PSW(in-country applications) is to have 'at least £800 in your account at all times over the three-month period'. Unfortunately , he has been advised he has no right of appeal. I don't think there is much he can do. I am sorry to say but he had months to plan his application. If you are applying for PSW from within the UK, your account balance must 'SHOW AT LEAST £800 FOR THE LAST 3 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE DATE OF YOUR APPLICATION'. I know say money no easy but even if na to borrow put inside for the account for 3 months, I go do am! In order not to waste £500 and put your self through emotional and psychological torture, you need to meet all the requirements to the book! LUXOIRE, depending on your own immigration status, your BF might be able to apply through another VISA category. Poor bloke! |
Some staff may be racist but I don't think this story is true. |
I looked into this about 2 months ago as I wanted a trip to france with my hubby. I didn't consider a postal application at the time and I think it must be because it isn't possible( I don't remember why now - maybe somthing to do with how far from London we live). You will need to attend an interview. They will need to see your husband's passport. I think they give you back the money you pay or you get some sort of discount. It'll probably be granted same day. Just make sure you take any documents that will support your application with you. |
E je ki won ko igbo si yin l'apo abi make them steal ya identity! lol! |
The business of the embassy has not changed since inception. Why has it been so difficult to get a handle on things in that place? They do need a change of staff! The current staff need to be replaced by people with brains! |
This new problem pass the name o! Nigerian government + Russia! Is this Yaradua's alternative to the amnesty he offered weeks ago? The arms plane from Ukraine ![]() Whats next? Russian Bodyguards? Russian Police/ Military? |
I was there in 2007 and it was chaotic! It was a typical Nigerian organisation with all the usual features: Chaos,'rude, ignorant and uncultured staff', and corruption. It still boils down to the ' I am in charge here and can do whatever I want' attitude of the uneducated staff and the I don't care attitude of the Oga's who sit upstairs in their cosy offices. I was hoping the place would have changed by now! How on earth is that place being run like that? I have been dreading going to get a visa for my husband since June 2007! The High Commissioner should cover his face in shame! |
It's always 'boarding house stories'. As true as 'Miss ko, ko, ka'! Raping a man is possible if the woman penetrates his bum. Men rape men after all. |
God have mercy! |

@samdams Please, stop revealing personal details in your postings! It is not safe! |
I thought Stella OBJ eradicated this 'state level first lady' business back in her days? |

MATE Nursery/Primary School, Ketu. Mate is built On nothing else than Jesus' blood and righteousness Mate does not trust The sweetest flame But only leans on Jesus' name On christ the solid rock Mate stands All other ground is sinking sand All other ground is sinking sand UP MATE! |
The average Nigerian does not like huge debts! Borrowing 1000Naira from Iya Sikira is one thing, borrowing 10 Million naira from the bank is another! LOL! |
and many 'ijinle yoruba' that u have to guess along. e.gThat will be 'Send attachment by e-mail'. |
Fantastic! I wish I knew the yoruba equivalent for that! |
I am quite disappointed but not really surprised that quite a few people here are keen to condemn this criminal being broadcast as wanted. Is it because we are so used to breaking the law? You don't see anything wrong with him forging medical certificates and putting the general public in danger? He is a criminal. Period! He is wanted because the UK authorities do not want mental health patients to be put at risk! I hope he is caught soon! |
What is this nonsense about imposing penalties of between 5,000 to 100,000 on students who don't pass? What about non-igbo speaking minorities? While learning Igbo might be beneficial to some extent, I don't support it being forced on everyone. The native tongue should be passed on by parents and the community, not enforced in school especially since it wouldn't help them get a place in university or any useful qualification. |
I caught the last few minutes of crimewatch and I wasn't surprised when his face and name came up! I thought ' another f, Nigerian! One of the few who give the rest of us bad names! It is so annoying! You should see UK Border Force on SKY 3 and Sky 1 on Saturdays and Sundays as well, there is always a Nigerian featured! What riles me most is that these cases involving 'notorious nigerians' get a lot of publicity. They are 'Nigerians' when it's bad news but 'British-Nigerian' or 'lived in Nigeria till she was 21 but has always had a british passport' when its good! Please help catch this bastards who spoil our name! |
The decision is up to you. But is it really wise? If he is so sure he can get you the job, maybe he should wait till you get your first salary! You will also be aiding corruption by paying someone for somethin that should be based on merit. |
Una no go kill person for this Nairaland o! I don laugh tire! ![]() |
