Oga leave story, dollar is here to stay for years to come. No other currency can replace it. If dollar crashes, global economy will also crash. Western nation strength is their market. It's a 30 trillion dollar yearly consumer market. The closest to it is China with 6 trillion dollars. That market drives the global economy. It crashes and the whole world enters recession. It become a case of everyone wants to sell but nobody wants to buy. If even China will abandon Russia if push comes to shove. |

HITsquad: I would have really loved to continue with this conversation. But your reply was really childish and insultive... Im too old for for such, so have a really nice day young man. Peace bro. Pls take a book and learn African history. It's a shame when blacks repeats the racist negative stereotype about Africa. It's annoying. West Africa had an established university before England built their first university - Oxford. At its peak in the 14th century, Malian empire biggest export wasn't gold but books written by scholars in Timbuktu university. People came all the way from Baghdad to learn and buy these books. Most west African civilisation were developed by people from Numidia, Mauretania, Nubia and ancient Egypt who ran south to escape the tyranny of the Roman empire occupation in those north African region in the 1st to 3rd century, they migrated deep into the sahara and started new civilisation. These actions prompted the Roman legions in North Africa to cross the sahara couple of times to find the fugitives. They got as far as lake chad. The second wave happened during the Umayyad caliphate expansion into North Africa, the inhabitants who wanted to remain pagan moved deep into the sahara. It's ignorance to claim there's no connection btw the ancient north Africans and present black Africans. The present occupiers are mainly mix of arabs, southern Europeans and few Berbers/amazigh who choose to stay. Travel deep into the southern regions of libya, Algeria, Morocco and Egypt. U will be shocked to notice the inhabitants have a darker skin tone than most Nigerians. Those were the original north Africans b4 they were pushed south. Their cousins are in Mali, chad and Niger, they were all one big family thousands of years ago dwelling in the desert b4 foreign occupation separated them. |

Politics › Map Of Lagos In 1900 by SIRTee15(op): 5:58pm On Mar 13, 2023 |
To all those ignorant folks including seun kuti saying Lagos isn't Yorubaland, this is the map of Lagos colony inside Nigeria in 1900. That they don't teach history in schools isn't an excuse not to make proper use of Google. Note that if Nigeria dissolves today and southwest becomes a nation. The default name it will take will be LAGOS before deciding on whatever name to call it.
To the ignorant Gbadebo Rhodes-vivour denying his Yoruba heritage and forming too posh to speak Yoruba, someone should tell him that he became a product of Lagos because his ancestors could speak Yoruba. The British dumped his enslaved forefathers at the Lagos coast because the only African language they could speak was Yoruba. They were enslaved from the hinterlands of Yorubaland in modern day osun, Kwara and Oyo states. The fact that the white man recognised and acknowledge Lagos as a Yorubaland by relocating Yoruba speaking freed slaves to Lagos is a testament to the origin of Lagos.

Obi was the best option on the ballot in this election and it was obvious to the blind, hence he had such a great outing Obi won in southern Nigeria, unfortunately he was contesting for the president of Nigeria. He failed to get the memo. If there was no Atiku on the ballot, the result would have been brutal for obi, Tinubu will kill him. Northerners were never going to vote for him, he's too sectarianism in thinking, just like Buhari. What obi needs is a northern Tinubu who will polish and present him as a nationalist in the north. Otherwise, he will become a perpetual presidential aspirant. |

He won SE and SS hands down, he won NC, he won Lagos with about 1million votes, he won Abuja, he won Plateau with around 1 million votes, he won in many areas of Bauchi and other northern states. Most of his northern votes were completely robbed.
If APC knew they have done so well, why didnt they allow a free and fair election so Nigerians can re-elect them
Remind me why the results were not transmitted electronically again
In the middle of bvas, we relapsed to the old way rigging
Tell emilokan to rule naija no be force
Tinubu that lost woefully in Osun or Lagos was miraculously winning in opponents strongholds, no be juju? If he actually won convincingly as u claim, it should reflect on the number of HOR and senate seat won by LP. In Lagos where obi won, he could only secure 1 HOR ticket and zero senate seat. It was a competitive election, very competitive. Obi did well, but not all they hype u alluding to him. If we repeat the election 1000 times, it will be same result. The only exception would be Rivers state. APC major success in this election was their ability to eat deep into northern state even the ones they didnt win. Obi had no chance in those states and Atiku has no fanatical northern followership to get him that windfall result in the north. Make everybody rest. Obi should play active opposition for 4 years and reposition himself to take advantage of Tinubu's incompetence in 2027. Meanwhile, he should carry his message to the north or better still get a more heavyweight Northern VP. |

jaephoenix: This KJV And he went up from thence unto Bethel: and as he was going up by the way, there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head These were children. So you can't escape that. And no, they didn't enter into any covenant with yahweh. They're kids, remember. He was instructed by his father Judah, so he had to obey and that's caused his death. By the way, if he had disobeyed his old man, he'd have been stoned for disobedience, which was a law given by your yahweh. Which other people had coitus interruptus in the Bible? No problem Those kids were young men according to Jewish scriptures. They were not some pre teens without knowledge of what they were doing. All Onan had to do if he wasn't interested in rasing kids they weren't his own was to say NO. He didn't, he wanted the pleasure but not the responsibility. That's was a wicked thing. No one will kill him if he refused. Judah noticed the trend and refused to pass the lady on to his 3rd child as per tradition- nothing happened to him. Judah could have man up and perform the deed himself but stylishly sent her away- God didn't kill him. The verse is all about taking responsibility that comes with pleasure, God hates it the opposite- a warning to men who denies responsibility for pregnancy they create and force the woman to have an abortion. |

OkCornel: You didn’t understand Dtruthspeaker’s analogy.
He’s explaining “ONE” in the context of unity, and not a literal number.
For example, a man shall leave his father and mother and cleave unto his wife and they shall be ONE flesh.
ONE in this context is unity.
Jesus prayed in John 17 v 22 that all believers should be ONE (be United) just as he and the Father are ONE (United).
It doesn’t mean believer A is the same person as believer B. It actually means they are working together in unity.
John 17 v 22-23 22 I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— 23 I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.
So to clear up the confusion, Jesus is not the same person as the Father. He is one with the Father because he works in unity with the Father. Can I ask u a question? Do u worship the father and son separately? |

Holybwoy: Brother Lateef.. oloriburuku niyin..
I will address the 'chinedu' first..
Gbadebo Chinedu Rhodes-Vivour is more Lagosian than Tinubu and Sanwoolu and Ambode put together..
His family's history in Lagos dates back to 400 years ago. Tinubu is from Iragbiji, Sanwoolu is from Ogun state while Ambode is from Ondo.
His father married an Igbo Lady, that's why there's a Chinedu attached. I don't blame the father, Yoruba women are dirty, uncouth, lousy and will only use 3 soups (ila, ewedu and gbegiri) to feed your destiny till the end of days.. dem no even sabi fxck.. just lying down like a log of wood while expecting that you mount them and do all the work..
Davido named his late son 'ifeanyi'. If the late son had grown up and tried to contest for Osun state governor, brother Lateef uncle oponu amukunmeko will rush here to label him ibo and ipob trying to sell Osun abi??
It is not only Igbo that's craving to send APC and Sanwoolu parking, Yorubas can't wait. Hausas can't wait.. that's why you call them Omo ale when they decide to not vote for APC..
And who, in their right senses will vote for APC?? You think building roads is the dividend of democracy in 2023?
Thankfully, the omo ales have more PVCs than the omo-ita that Sanwoolu empowered to maltreat and abuse every decent and hardworking Lagosian.
The sooner you realize that this isn't an Igbo agenda, the better for you.. wake up egbon agbaya and tell Sanwoolu to do what's right.. Ambode spent one term, he didn't die.. Sanwoolu will be fine Will 'dirty' Yoruba women also join u in voting in chinedu to Lagos gov house. I keep saying it, lots of patent did a bad job raising children in the last 20 yrs. That's what the rest of us have to deal with now. See this one insulting those he's expecting to vote his candidate. Some people no just get sense. |

Several apc supporters here on NL had lashed out at Prof Osinbajo the moment he came out to run, calling him unprintable names, even linking him with RCCG. They've done worse in this election, even spiting pa Adebanjo, a well respected yorubaman. They saw the GRV's comment on twitter calling tinubu afonja and suddenly generalised it on the yoruba race.
