Gerrard59: Western Europe in this case. As for Eastern Europe, it is very traditional, but low birth rates make them uncompetitive. So yeah, the entire continent will lose its allure and competitiveness. Western Europe already suffers from very low birth rates. The high birth rates are even from non-natives.
Errrm, the Renaissance witnessed the society fight off the Church. The advent of secularism greatly benefitted the continent, introduced critical thinking and questioning authorities, and generated wealth, which was used to explore new regions. So, religion as it was practised in Europe (almost like Nigeria) actually made them poorer.
What actually makes it hilarious is that these wokeists align with Muslims and constantly criticise Christianity even when everyone knows that Islam is antithetical to their ideologies. Islam is vehemently opposed to feminism, trans-right and LGTV. Yet the same people align with Islam. It seems the Taquiyya model works very well on them. Once Islam gets a foot-hold in Europe eh.
And for real, I want Islam to get a strong foot-hold in Europe. The schadenfreude in me will erupt in joy I think a lot of people don't understand what happened in the dark ages. The pope ensured the bible was only in Latin and few people had access to it. The church interpreted the bible to the people and lied a lot. The teaching then was that u could obtain righteousness by fighting in crusades or if u donate huge amount to the church. THAT'S NOT CHRISTIANITY. The church became directly involved in things they had no business with like governance, science, medicine, commerce, inquisition, jurisprudence.....in fact they practically tell people how to live their lives. The church said the world was flat and if u travel far u will fall off. They discouraged critical thinking and subjected all philosophy and university academics to the authority of the church. If they don't approve it, u can't teach it. Now do u see the similarity with the shariah law. There was no freedom- IN CHRIST THERE'S FREEDOM. The Renaissance was ushered in by Christians who wanted the truth and not what the pope says. Isaac Newton was a devout Christian. Queen Isabella was a Christian who encouraged sailors to travel far into unknown territory because of her passion for evangelism. Gutenberg who invented the printing press was a Christian, the first book to be printed with his machine was the bible. He mass produced the bible because he wanted people to read the it and know the church had been lying for years. Renaissance period didn't abandon Christianity but birth people of faith not burdened by legalistic religious doctrines. They could speak their mind and challenge the norm. For example, slavery was a big issue during the Renaissance period. Slave owners used the bible to justify the practice and quoted bible verse that seems to support slavery. However, abolitionist who were also Christians challenged it based on personal conviction and eventually won the argument. |

musicwriter: With due respect, you don't know know what you're talking about.
On the contrary, your Jesus Christ actually destroyed knowledge in Europe because once Europe converted to Christianity (325 AD) they became irrational. They destroyed the works of people like Plato, Socrates, Pythagoras, Plutarch, Aristotle, etc claiming that their knowledge were evil.
In fact, till the 1600's, any scientific thought in Europe that disagreed with the bible was punishable by hanging. Scientists like Giordano Bruno were burned alive in the name of Jesus!! Everything was then attributed to God and not knowledge, so prosperity declined in Europe because they could no longer make rational use of the mind, just as religion has destroyed us in Africa today. Europe then descended to what's called the dark ages (starting 400 AD), that's 75 years after converting to Christianity. The dark ages was the worst time in history that Europe has ever been. It lasted for 1,000 years!! One thousand years of stupidity!!
In the dark ages, Europeans themselves said that all knowledge were lost, to the extent that people could no longer read or write. The reason all knowledge was lost is because people couldn't read anything else outside the bible. The works of people such as Plato, Pythagoras, Socrates, etc were lost. Europe then had to eat the humble pie and they went to the lands of the "pagans" in Africa and Arabia to literally steal books and knowledge, which they took back to Europe. But they didn't tell you that in your bible class or school.
Europe completely destroyed themselves with Christianity till they realized how ugly it is. They actually culturally and socially rejected Christianity and replaced it with scientific knowledge!! Once Europe discarded Jesus, beginning from what they call the renaissance period, and began to seek true knowledge outside the bible, they began to develop at a phenomenal speed.
All you have to do to verify what I've said here in order to correct the impression you have of Jesus bringing anything good to the world, is go to YouTube and watch the documentary: the dark ages in Europe. It's by history channel. You'll see white people themselves narrating what I just said here.
If you don't have data for YouTube, then search Google for:
1. The dark ages in Europe (The age of Christianity in Europe, the age of ignorance and stupidity)
2. The renaissance period in Europe (The age of questioning began in Europe. Some autodidacts like Africason began to question the way society works)
3. The enlightenment period in Europe (Flood of knowledge began to spread like wildlife in Europe. Europe rejects Jesus, and further questioning led to scientific enquiry)
4. The scientific revolution in Europe (Science became a part of life in Europe. Soon Europe became a world power and began to rule the world. Within this period, they rejects the bible God Jehovah too and they put their destiny in their own hands, and began replicating natural events like thunder, rainfall). This is when people like Fredric Niesche declared that "God is dead".
Read it in that order and you'll understand how Europe came out from savagery to civility. You absolutely know nothing about Christian history in Europe. FYI Isaac Newton was a man of faith, a devout Christian. Gutenberg invented the printing press machine because he wanted mass circulation of the bible. Queen Isabella of Spain and her husband sponsored Columbus trip to America because she wanted to spread the gospel to foreign lands. Colombia wasn't even Spanish but got the queen's attention because of her passion for evangelism. Christianity and enlightenment brings about positivity in all endeavours of life. Separate both and what we have is darkness and amoral society. The Renaissance didn't weaken Christianity on Europe, in fact it made it stronger. People could now practice their faith without undue pressure and burden from legalist but ignorant Catholic papal institutions. The founding members of royal academy of science in 1660 were Christians. William Wilberforce and other activist who advanced for abolition of slavery in the 18th century were Christians. They nearly pushed UK into bankruptcy by enforcing the ban across the west African coast, but those guys were determined because no cost was too high to pay for abolition of the inhuman practice. Friedec Nietzsche and other philosophers didn't even come into the picture until the late 19th and 20th century when Christian Europe dominance was already established and globally unchallenged. |

Recently, anyone can be identified as anything either as a living thing or non-living thing... Europe has lost it and they going down. This proud and arrogant civilization thought they achieved it all by their own strength. They will be shocked! Any river that abandon its source will dry up. Europe was nothing before they embraced christ- they were barbaric pagan worshippers with backward civilization. They will become nothing again now they abandoning Christ. Already Islam is the fastest growing religion in that region. And will know what happens to 'infidels' when Islam becomes the majority religion. |

Sehzade: You just proved my point. Quranic verses directly reference the situation in the world in those ages. Just because your definition of trinity differs doesn't mean there weren't people who viewed it as such. Those verses were in reference to them. At the end of the day, whichever way you view trinity, the point is, it''s wrong. Blasphemy in the eyes of God and foolishness in the eyes of any logical human being. Canonisation of the bible and the council of Nicene occured 300 yrs b4 the birth of Muhammad. There was no confusion about the trinity in the 7th century. There were Syrian Christians living in Arabia peninsula during Muhammad's time and they had the scriptures. The trinity concept was well established as God, son and holy spirit in Muhammad's time. Muhammad simply guessed what the trinity was and he guessed wrong. Just like his habit of guessing and muddling up bible stories. Sehzade: If he juxtaposes spiritual slavery and physical slavery without explicitly condemning the abhorrent nature of physical slavery, its implicitly proves his approval of it. I'm not going to waste my time on this, u just creating a red herring argument here. Sehzade: slavery was a neccessity in those times. There was such a thing as prisoners of war and slavery was the provision that ensured their fair treatment. Everything else you posted is a vile litigious misinterpretation of events subject to misinformation and conjecture. Slavery had always been a necessity until it was banned. Which employer will let go of his free labour. Americans had to fight a civil war to end slavery. British navy guarded the Atlantic ocean after slavery was banned to enforce the act, they fought multiple coastal kings in West Africa to effect slavery embargo. The British govt had to agree to a form of compensation before slave owners could release their slaves in the Caribbean. That payment lasted 150 yrs and only finished in 2005. Freeing of slaves was never going to be an easy task, but some people felt it was immoral and had the gut to do something about it. Sehzade: Never led by example? when he explicitly stated multiple times how freeing of slaves is one of the best deeds a person could do? when he himself freed multiple slaves? Racist? when he countlessly mentioned the equality of all men? How is he supposed to decide the market value of anything let alone slaves, king or not and how would that be fair? Do you know the other details of this transaction apart from race? Age? Status? etc Such a dumb point. To Muslims everything is dumb whenever Muhammad's action is called out. It doesn't matter the gravity of his atrocious act. Whether having intercourse with a 9 yr old girl OR offering 6 female slaves for one Jewish woman in order to satisfy his sexual lust OR getting married to his son's wife. Any criticism of Muhammad is dumb because he's a perfect man. Thank God some of his followers with conscience and better moral fibre stood up to him even during his time and called out Muhammad's decision to marry his son's wife. Rather than Muhammed retracing his steps, he came out and said Allah told him adoption is illegal, thereby creating a loophole to cement the immoral union. Amazingly, Allah never told him slavery was illegal but was focused on legalising Muhammad's sexual randiness. Sehzade: "There are three categories of people against whom I shall myself be a plaintiff on the Day of Judgement. Of these three, one is he who enslaves a free man, then sells him and eats this money" (al-Bukhari and Ibn Majjah).
[b]Your slaves are your brothers. Allah has placed them in your hand, and he who has his brother under him should feed him with the same food he eats and clothe him with the same clothes he wears, and do not burden him beyond his capacity, and if you burden him then help him. Sahih Muslim 1661
Whoever frees a slave, then Allah will free every limb of his body from the Hellfire, even his private parts. Sahih Bukhari 6337
Whoever strikes his slave without limit or slaps him, then the expiation for the sin is to emancipate him. Sahih Muslim
Abu Mas’ud reported: I was beating a boy of mine when I heard a voice from behind me: Know, O Abu Mas’ud, that Allah has more power over you than you have over him.I turned around and it was the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. I said, “O Messenger of Allah, I have freed him for the sake of Allah.” The Prophet said: If you had not done so, you would have been burnt in the Hellfire. Sahih Muslim 1659
Feed the hungry, visit the sick, and set the captives free. Sahih Bukhari 5058
“All mankind is from Adam and Eve. An Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over a black nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood. Nothing shall be legitimate to a Muslim which belongs to a fellow Muslim unless it was given freely and willingly. Do not, therefore, do injustice to yourselves." Words are cheap, action is louder and real. Muhammad should have taken that bold step and abolish slavery. If Abraham Lincoln and William Wilberforce could do it, what stopped Muhammad with a divine mandate? Muslims are known for saying one thing and doing the opposite. You guys say there's no compulsion in Islam, Islam is a religion of peace, women are to be protected in islam. Unfortunately reality proved otherwise, women who should be protected get killed for preaching in front of mosques. Therefore, not surprised slavery was rampant in Islam despite its condemnation in the Koran. Sehzade: Lmao. So prophets don't know their god's intention anymore? What about the parts where he smote civilizations into oblivion? Did he not say "he is a god of war?" This is a blatant obfuscation of obvious actions and aptly encapsulates the lack of accountability and hypocrisy of Christians. I don't have a problem with the old testament, most of it anyway. I don't have a problem with violence born out of necessity or self defence. Muslims are not hypocrites. When it comes to violence, Muslims can never be hypocrites. That's something u do very well, even to the point of death- I have to give it to u guys. But u will do well not to add old testament scripture as a validation for wanton murder and violence. The ordinances and laws in the old testament scriptures were for a particular ethnic groups called Israelites to follow. It's not for u and I, what's for us is the new testament. Pls be guided. Sehzade: I think if Iran disappears from the world map today the rest of the Muslim world won't bat an eye, I think some might even celebrate. You are barking up the wrong tree. Even then, just because they have a difference in opinion about the practise of the religion doesn't mean they're not muslims, most of the protesters still are. As far as yoruba muslims, I don't like making blanket statements but most of the ones i've met I'd hardly call Muslims though there are some very devout Muslims among them. Freedom isn't the cause of their blase attitude towards religion, it's their brand of faith and their tendency for interreligious households. There's a reason why such freedom exists in the first place. Actually this is the reason I decided to reply this post, even though it's quite delayed. I initially didn't read above or didn't conceptualise it until now. When I was in Nigeria, I used to think my Yoruba Muslim brothers were docile and quite lame when compared to their Northern counterparts. But when I traveled out and met other black Muslims from other African nations, I concluded u guys up north are nothing but blood thirsty evil creatures committing atrocities under the guise of Islam. I've met Muslims from Sierra Leone, Senegal, Gambia, Niger, Mali, Guinea, Ethiopia, Eritrea and Somalia. They all put humanity first, they relate with Christians on a personal level irrespective of religious affiliation. Some of these countries are Muslim majority and Christian minority. I ask how they get along and the story is all the same, they live side by side in peace and harmony. You would never know who's is Muslim or Christian, they don't persecute or carry out genocidal acts against their Christians minority citizens. They respect their faith and make allowance for them as regards their believe. Things like burning of churches or killing random Christians because someone somewhere drew a cartoon of muhammad is unheard of. They read news of what u Muslims do in northern Nigeria and wonder what has come into u people. They all conclude whatever it is is not islam. That Yoruba Muslims decide to reject the evil Wahhabism ideology that has turned your region into ruin, a burden and parasitic in modern Nigeria doesn't make them less devout Muslims. It only shows they believe humanity trumps every other differences. The truth is different religions will never agree on theological doctrines but any religion that undermines humanity isn't fit for the 21st century. Northern Muslims should learn from other African Muslims including Yoruba Muslims and stop the massacre and genocide of Christians in norther Nigeria. Enough is enough Sehzade: This is a bold faced lie. He played a role but the Missionaires laid the foundation of christianity in the South West. How did he become Christian in the first place? Care to spell that out? The depths you will go to revise history is shameful. Another waste of time, if u know of any missionary who established a successful mission in Yoruba prior to Ajayi crowther, send me the link. |

Fujiyama: ^^^ The facts are:
Osinbajo chairs the National Economic Council Osinbajo is a member of the federal cabinet - and he chairs it when the president is not there Osinbajo is a member of the National Security Council - and he chairs it when the president isn't there.
These are not irrelevant, minor roles.
What exactly were these "good critical decisions" Osinbajo made while Buhari was away? We are talking of 8 years. Is Osinbajo's relevance limited only to situations where Buhari is incapacitated?
During the Jonathan administration, Namadi Sambo was somehow tagged with the sobriquet "ghost worker". He was ever able to fully shake off that name. What exactly has Osinbajo done differently from Sambo that you are willing to entrust him with leadership after 8 awful years - in which he was a key actor?
Osinbajo is a law teacher. What is his position on RUGA? What is his position on Sharia law and its inevitable conflict with the Nigerian constitution? What is his position on the constitutional amendment bill that states (dominated by his party members) have refused to vote on and return to the national assembly?
But let's leave all that I just want to know what the man did in an executive capacity for 8 years. That's all. When osinbajo was in charge, he dismissed the director of DSS for the agency involvement in the house of assembly invasion saga. That's a man with lots of guts. Unfortunately that was his nemesis. Prior to that incident, osinbajo had direct access to Buhari and was able to give him his own version of events. That action opened the eyes of the cabals to the danger of acting presidency, they made sure they completely blocked osinbajo from anything to do with Presidency and that was last time Buhari handed over to osinbajo. He simply became a lame duck in aso rock passing away time. Let's be fair with our assessment of things as it unfolds. There was very little osinbajo could do. Buhari's govt was an absolute Fulani hegemony, those guys wielded power like never before. In fact it will take 2 southern presidents to reverse the balance of power in this country from the north. The yorubas in APC were very much aware of osinbajo predicament but kept mute because they were waiting for their time, Tinubu cared less. The only place I will fault him is he should have resigned when he became powerless. That would have sent a strong signal to aso rock and shake the very foundation of Buhari presidency. |

VULCAN: Everything you wrote is regurgitated. It's what you read.
The problem with reading without doing your own assessment is that it kills your brain while leaving you feeling intelligent.
So let me give you some homework.
Go online and find out what percentage of new car sales is electric in the West.
You will be shocked at how low the figure is.
Especially in the UK
Then go and find out what percentage of ICE car sales in the West are fairly used cars versus sales of brand new ones.
Why?
Because many many people cannot afford to buy brand new in the West in spite of what you are led to believe. They don't have good credit scores.
The fairly used ICE car market is booming but not the fairly used EV market because the cost of new batteries to power your fairly used car is about 50-70% of the cost of buying a brand new EV vehicle.
ICE cars don't have 200yrs to go as he said but definitely another 50yrs at least before they become obsolete. Especially in the poorer countries of the world 1.6 million new cars were sold in UK last year, a constant figure for last 5-10 years. 250 thousands of this cars were EV vehicle. Norwegians bought more EV vehicles than ICE vehicle last year. Africans will always be the last to catch up with any new revolution in the world. Always stuck with old way of doing things. And we wonder why we are the base of the global wealth pyramid. What I expect a serious nation to do is to leap ahead onto the EV innovation. Take the fore front in EV batteries manufacturing. All the resources needed to produce this batteries are in Africa- lithium, nickel, graphite, cobalt. Motivate/energise our institutions and car manufacturers to focus on EV innovations. Its an investment that will pay off because EV is the future. That's how a nation becomes wealthy. |

I don't have to lie to tarnish his image, he already done a good job at that. |

Gandrova: That is why I said you lack common sense. Islam detest maltreatment of women and children. It is the only Religion that promote women Right. As for polygamy you made mention, It wasn't just because of lust it was ordained by God if you can be just and fair in treatment. Muhammad clearly stated it's permissible for husband to beat his wife, u can't even deny that. Mention one right bestowed upon women in marriage according to Islam. because last time I checked, afghan Muslim govt has banned all women from going to school or working. |

keepingmum: Yes sir, you R correct. Keep up the advise i lived in the North for the 1st decade of my UK stay and my rent was £550. I have since moved from the North almost a decade now and i still have friends there who's rent/mortgage has gone up by 70%. If i was to relocate to the same northern city i lived in, i will be paying £890pm. But again you are correct.
What has yorkshire got to offer?? Sheffield thats filled with Pakis ? Besides the Uni and the NHS which industries are there that can offer 20hr uni jobs for students? Jobs that have career transferable skills?? I have said what i said on my 1st post. All can pick what they choose, its a free world There's IT, finance and manufacturing jobs. UK is the same everywhere as per jobs, the only exception is London that has lots of finance and international jobs. Which city has no Asians? London, Manchester, leeds or Birmingham? Maybe Nottingham and southwest region. They are here just like u...simply avoid their post code area. |

keepingmum: This is very false budgeting. I have lived in the UK for 2 decades. Which city is charging £800 per month for rent?? 2bed rent is about £900 upwards depending on the city. The cities with cheaper rent are often cities with no jobs or villages.
I can tell you categorically that utilities - water/gas/electric for a 2bed is around £400 per month. Then there's council tax. As long as you have a non- student living in the flat/house, u will pay which is anywhere from £100 - £170pm depending on the borough.
This are core bills that MUST be paid before u move fmto feeding/tp to work/black tax (sending money back home), paying ur tuition, saving up IHS /course training for career advancement, personal savings.
What the thread poster said is a fact but 9ja will argue until they get here. This is why nigerians in the UK ignore the Japa crew because we can all see that they have been warned before they got on a plane but they refuse. Instead u want someone to accommodate u and ur family till u "find your feet". Forgetting that by "accomodating u, their own utilities bill goes up/feeding goes up, they run the risk of a neighbor reporting them for overcrowding etc.
He who has ears, let him hear I live in Sheffield and I can confidently say u don't live in UK. My new build house- semi terrace is 770/ month and that's on the high side. Average house rent is 600/month. There's no way utility is up to 400 per month, what are u consuming. U guys should relax. Una lie is becoming too annoying from both sides of the argument. |

Gandrova: You lack common sense and it is far from your system with this comments. Islam is the only Religion that explained in totally the right and wrongs of marriage with no single hidden agenda. Islam that promotes polygamy, child marriage, beating of wives and subjugation of women. Islam is the last religion to teach about true marriage. |

visaclick: crude oil isn't loosing relevance even in 200years to come. Electrical cars are a joke, solar power supply is inconsiderably low compared to word energy demand. The minerals used in batteries and other stuffs are even more expensive and far more dangerous to mine so bro arabs will be on top as long as they are friends with USA Electric car is definitely the future. Last year, 6 million electric cars were sold globally. It will keep rising. Besides, electric car battery can be recycled l, it's not like they will forever digging the earth for lithium, nickel or cobalt. |
