FamilyRe: Marriage Is About To End Please Help.for Matured Minds Only by slimfine(f): 8:26pm On Mar 22, 2009
did the husband refuse or did she not mension it? is the real question. She should talk with her hubby if she values her marriage. Sex is a big part of marriage ooh so saying that she is stupid is ridiculous. she just need to communicate effectively with her husband that all.

FamilyRe: My Wife Is Driving Me Nuts: Doesn't Want A New Baby by slimfine(f): 11:43pm On Mar 21, 2009
The problem lies with this guy. I mean he stated that he wants 3 kids by age 35! He also said that the wife moved out because of all the pressure in thier home due to this issue and he asking for advice? If your wife want to work on her career before having another child, just compromise! I don't see the big deal unless you are not telling us the whole story.

Christianity EtcRe: Judas Iscariot - Hero Or Villian? by slimfine(f): 5:38am On Mar 21, 2009
To add to natachi; we are giving freewill and assuming everyone including Judas did not betray jesus, God almighty would have figured alternative way for give mankind salvation. God never tries us with something evil so you can't say that he made Judas betray jesus. This Judas guys was a thief right from time and he had the guts to ask jesus "was it I?" when jesus said that one of them will betray him. Judas is not a role model and can never be. Any of you who claim so should pray that your own child be like Judas.

CareerRe: Government Should Refund The School Fees Of Unemployed Graduates by slimfine(f): 5:51am On Mar 20, 2009
Ultimately, It is the job of the Government to care for its citizens. So I really do not see the absurdity of this idea. Maybe the repayment of tuition sounds a bit bogus however, If the government compensate unemployed graduates; that would be ideal.

"Fight in the way of Allah." 2:190, 2:244

War is ordained by Allah, and all Muslims must be willing to fight, whether they like it or not. 2:216

If you die fighting for Allah, you'll be rewarded in heaven. 3:157

Those who die fighting for Allah will go to heaven. 3:195

Allah will bestow a vast reward on those who fight in religious wars. 4:74

Have no unbelieving friends. Kill the unbelievers wherever you find them. 4:89

If the unbelievers do not offer you peace, kill them wherever you find them. Against such you are given clear warrant. 4:91

God will guide disbelievers down a road that leads to everlasting hell. 4:168-169

Allah makes some people sin. He will not cleanse their hearts. They will have ignominy in this world, and in the Hereafter an awful doom. 5:41

Life for life, eye for eye, nose for nose, ear for ear, and tooth for tooth. 5:45

Christians will be burned in the Fire. 5:72

Muslims that make friends with disbelievers will face a doom prepared for them by Allah. 5:80

Allah chooses to lead some astray, and he lays ignominy on those who disbelieve. 6:125

Allah will punish the disbelieving Jews until the Day of Resurrection. 7:167

Those that the Muslims killed were not really killed by them. It was Allah who did the killing. 8:17

Don't let the disbelievers think they can escape. They are your enemy and the enemy of Allah. 8:59-60

Believers must fight for Allah. They must kill and be killed , and are bound to do so by the Torah, Gospel, and Quran. But Allah will reward them for it. 9:111[/b][/size]
If this is what Muslim Allah is all about, I am very disappointed. cry
RomanceRe: My Ex Is Getting Married And It Hurts by slimfine(f): 3:47am On Feb 07, 2009
I don't undersatnd why some people are beating this guy down. ex's wedding in general hurts unless you absolutely hate the person. It is just human nature to hurt over things we love but can't have. You sacrificed a lot but it didn't work, grief about it and move on. and just becuase we work hard at something doesn't mean it will rain gold. such is life. We don't always get what we all want or the world will be a paradise

PoliticsRe: Pictures Of Oshodi Market Demolition by slimfine(f): 5:50am On Jan 08, 2009
I am not sure, but for those you who suggests alternative place for traders, where exactly do you people want the government to create this alternative place? Another oshodi market where infrastructure is not needed? what a dumb cycle. those trader inhabited that area illegally so they should count there losses. even the bible tells us to obey the authority/Governmnet to have a peaceful life.
CultureRe: Are You Proud To Be A Nigerian? by slimfine(f): 7:01am On Jan 05, 2009
Good or bad, I love my native country Nigeria kiss cool. I may not agree with its politics just like I dislike Bush's administration. That country gives me a sense of pride. some of you may go on causing/hating us who love our country, it does not change a damn thing!
FamilyRe: My Husband Has Become Boring, He Hardly Makes The Bed When He Gets Up by slimfine(f): 10:01pm On Jan 04, 2009
@ Outlaw

did you suggest living together before marriage? we are nigerian we don't do that. Besides the older generation didn't have to and most of them have good marriages. marriage is all about tolerance to me. so when you are dating, a smart person will look at the gray areas of the other person characteristic/ personality and see if he or she can cope with it. if you can, you are golden and if you can't then is time to talk it a day.

where do you live in Oregon?
CultureRe: Are You Proud To Be A Nigerian? by slimfine(f): 8:10pm On Jan 04, 2009

RomanceRe: Seperate Or Shared Bedrooms. . . Which Is Better by slimfine(f): 6:35pm On Jan 03, 2009
shared biko!

to me shared bedroom will help you work through problems easily than having two seperate bedrooms where each of you shuts away the door and the other person. "There is love in sharing" it brings both you more closer. seperate rm is ideal from sibling and parents but once you are married "the two now become one body" one body only use one room and a bed.
FamilyRe: Is This Lady Worth It by slimfine(f): 6:01pm On Jan 03, 2009

you vowed for "better or worst" the day you wifed her up. so this is the "worst" part of the deal. take heart and forgive her beside, is not like you found her shaking another guy cry. it could have happened but it didn't.
RomanceRe: Igbo Women Are Too Demanding by slimfine(f): 5:38pm On Jan 03, 2009
@earthmama

marriage is not the most important thing in life. there are more to life than who or where you marry like my relationship with my God, family and friends. Not to challenge you or prove a point but I am happily dating a beautiful Igbo man who loves me darely because of who I am. So i am happy where I am and I have come to realize that since some people do not like God or jesus as wonderful as they are, the probability of everyone loving me is zero to slim and it dosen't have anything to do with my race. It is just human nature. So I don't expect any pleasantry from strangers like you.

I am very sorry for what happened to you. is one thing to get trashed in school by people who do not know who we are but is another when you do not have that emotional from our parents. I hope that you change your past to something positive. I know and feel you can do it. we nairalanders are here for you. much love.
