dasparrow: She and her husband probably did not live with other people while growing up and I think that is a blessing. Not everyone came from some poverty stricken Nigerian home where the parents birthed more children than they can adequately take care of and thereby send their children to live with extended family relatives. Also, not everyone loves a crowded home. Marriage should be between husband, wife and children and not husband, wife, children and extended relatives, especially when the marriage is still young and the couple involved are still trying to get used to each other.

You think the class of people in the bolded are the only ones who get to live with other people and you think poverty is the only reason/situation why one might have to put up with other people for sometime?... or am I the one not getting you?

I'm guessing your husband must be finding it difficult to caution or have him leave because he is older.I'm afraid you've just got to be more tolerant for the period he has to stay or until your husband does something about it

Op,i think you should go to Tiwa's family.Since you've always seen them as parents,you should be able to talk with them and tell them how dissapointed you are that they could accuse/suspect you of such.Reaffirm your loyalty to your friend and how the last thing you'd ever do is to betray him. and tell them to confront Tiwa themselves and leave you out of the matter.It should be that simple since your hands are clean.
