PoliteActivist:No sir, I know nothing, just wondering what's the logic of telling somebody that can't hear you or even do anything about his/her situation to rest in peace. And obviously you have no clue too the reason you do what you do. |
PoliteActivist:You tell me, I don't know |
PoliteActivist:Who are you greeting? the dead? |
PoliteActivist:It helps the living one. It helps them by giving them strength to bear or manage the loss. |
Ecstasy154:No nonsense man. One of the few African military men that you would want to be carrying out coup over and over again. Another one is Thomas Sankara of Burkina Faso. If only somebody like Abacha could just be a people's person who has human feelings, he could have cleaned up Nigeria too with his no nonsense, kill anybody 'kill able" attitude. On a different note, why do people keep writing RIP for a dead person? you even see some saying RIP sir ![]() Your condolence should be directed towards the family the dead left behind, the man or woman is gone and can't hear you. condolence messages are meant for those of us still here (at least for now) reading the messages, not for the dead. |
envoymedia:We know how it always ends... But you can't blame all these beautiful women falling for FFK's charm 1. Fine boy 2. Orator (master "toaster" ![]() 3. Generous (the boy is nice) 4. Connections (frolicking with politicians, especially the ones that can throw money around) 5. who knows? maybe he is also good in the 'oza' room Wetin come remain? one will now say all these women (mostly beauty without b****) should not fall? |
Ever8090:If you are waiting for that day, you have long time to wait |
gaetano:You people with defeatist mentality are just pathetic. Borders were closed worldwide because of COVID, Air borders has been opened in Nigeria and they are telling govt. to do same for land borders because it's affecting economic situation of the border communities, the next thing is that govt. shut down borders because of you. So, Ghana that has opened it's air borders and still not opened the land also shut down their borders because of you and your tribe? |
SpatialKing:Looks like whipping up ethnic sentiment didn't allow you to read and comprehend. And where did you see anybody mock Igbo for government shutting down borders because of COVID? What they are saying is if air borders can be shut and reopened because of Covid, then the land borders should have been opened too. Nobody is talking about importation of rice and frozen foods here which I guess you are erroneously referring to. |
flyingpig:You forgot to mention Ote$, Atiku, Adenuga, Jim Ovia etc. Everybody knows how to build a successful business o especially if 1. Govt is selling dollar for you at 180 naira while it's being sold on the black market at 420 naira 2. You are being given tax holiday for 10 years 3. All your products has ready market (whether it's good or bad, govt. will purchase your product) 4. You have unlimited access to loan without interest (you might even default in paying most of the principal, nothing go happen) 5 With the immence capital you have built, you are now the one determining the people (or you practically handpick the person that will be) in power. 6. ....forever a billionaire |
seuncyrus:Temi is also lucky. If you are close to Mr. Eazi you will see that apart from music, how intelligent and ambitious the guy is. Down to heart guy too. I'm sure these might be the things that captured Temi. A typical example of from total nothing to something is also a kind of attraction to simple girls like Temi despite her father's billions |
[quote author=Ndlistic post=95811588]Zimbabwean socialite and businessman, Genuis ‘Ginimni’ Kadungure dies in fatal Rolls Royce crash Village people, village pipu, village pupu, how many times did I call you? Sorry o, maybe na too much 'Champagne and show off ' people I suppose call. Afterall, we are all dead men walking. I pray God help those of us remaining (for now) to do the right things while still here. |
edoairways:You don't know what you are talking about sir. Check your facts (maybe on google) before posting on public forum |
Jah1:Wetin be this one again o? |
AAJ50:What I'm just seeing in this write up is PHd this, masters that, Havard, John Hopkins etc. It looks like you must be very learned there before you can even have a shot at obtaining your party's ticket unlike here where... |
peacekante:Give it to this guy, he is brilliant and he is an orator too. The only thing I think he lacks is either wisdom or good advisers who will let him achieve his goal and the goal of every right thinking Nigeria that this contraption should be dismantled. You need both carrot and the stick. The stick for the FG because no true independence is achieved on a round table (red eye is required to cure madness) and the carrot for the other tribes (at least the major ones) without whose support either directly or indirectly nothing can be achieved. |
ikeyman00:I wanted to reply you like a rational being before, but when I saw the bolded in your comment, "Therefore when you get to see people like MNK mad at the zoo" [/b] I realized it's of no use. You are a slave to the person you mentioned there, the obvious reason why you are pathetically obsessed with the person you mentioned there and I know you and your master delight in nothing else but to see Lagos burn. But thank God to your dissapointment, normalcy has been restored. As for N5000 you said they paid me, well, the last time I got paid N6000 (which is the lowest pay I've ever earned) was during my NYSC roughly 23years ago. Now, if N5000 is your problem, don't worry, I can employ your whole family including the babies and be paying them double of that. |
Throwback:A state governor can actually INVITE the military in case of anarchy, not DIRECT them as the C-I-C could have done. The governor also does not have control over their rules of engagement. Yeah Sanwoolu invited them down, but did he instruct them to kill? No, because he doesn't have the constitutional power to give them such instructions. |
Omoluabi16:Has he said anything different from what he has been saying from the very first day? He said that very day that he did not know who gave the military order to be there at that time, but he will get to the root of the matter. Nothing like confessing small small. Sanwolu has been very forthcoming right from the time the protest even started on a peaceful note. You people should channel your energy and 'vex' to the C-I-C who was practically begged and threatened before he could even address the nation, not somebody that has been in the open with you all along |
DominusPrime:You got it wrong sir. I am for the revolution as some of us have been for close to 15years. I was happy this eventually happened in my lifetime, but when it became clear that the ranks had been infiltrated by hoodlums and politicians who were afraid of where things was going, and some to get back at their political opponents, there was need for any rational and sensible revolutionist to take a step back and restrategize which many of us called for. A few that don't even have the idea of neither the modus operandi of the revolution nor the end game thereof kept being used as pawns by the politicians through the hoodlums and looters until things got out of hand. Statement has been made that the youth cannot be messed with anymore, take a step back and build on your gains while we wait for the next time to 'move' (which will always present itself) The question I asked initially is not funny, just needs straight answer, if the governor has succeeded in calming frail nerves and restoring law and order and you are calling for his head, then, what should he have done? or rather what would you have done as a revolutionist? You will still order people out to 'move'? Don't work hard sir, work smart! |
DominusPrime:You sir are the one being sentimental and obsessed about individuals (except you are now reasoning better), you kept seeing Buhari, Tinubu, Apc and Pdp in your dreams while I just wanted things to be back to normal, let people that have something to do with their lives get back to it. Thanks for the brain hemisphere thing by the way, I just checked it out. |
DominusPrime:Brain doesn't have hemisphere sir. Well, I responded to someone who said "this Sanwo olu must be mad", if that's not you, I apologize. At the same time, you jumped on my comment without seeing what the person I responded to wrote before you started blabbing about Buhari, Lekki,Tinubu, apc,pdp etc as if I care. All I care about is dousing the rising tension which the governor has done. Stop the carnage and the massive loss Lagos state and individuals (including people I know personally) have incurred as a result of the madness of a few. |
DominusPrime:Yes sir, I called you out because you are calling someone that has done a good job of restoring normalcy by apologizing to his people, a mad man. Since you and your people destroying Lagos properties are the only sane people, we then ask you to tell us what he should have done differently to achieve same purpose of restoring order except that is not what you want, you rather prefer the chaos and divisions that a speech like that of Buhari will bring which could be why you kept shouting Buhari as if it's Buhari I called you out on. Again, your word is that Sanwoolu is a mad man for restoring peace back to Lagos state, it leaves one to wonder what you and your likes are getting from the whole escalation as a result of the recklessness of the military being controlled by some invisible hand to 'burn' Lagos. And they got willing tools in people like you. |
DominusPrime:I thought as much, band wagon effect, just talking because others are talking. |
DominusPrime:Sir, if you don't have the ability to reason properly I'm afraid I might not be of help to you. What is my concern with Buhari? who doesn't given a hoot whether you kill yourself or not. You are calling the person trying to douse a rising tension a mad man, now you that is probably not mad was asked to tell us what he should have done differently from the apologizing that he did, and making report of the activities of the soldiers at Lekki to the army authorities (since he doesn't have direct control over them). Maybe you want the governor to carry gun and storm the army barracks for retaliation, maybe you can also mobilize the looters and arsonists to go and burn the barracks down because it looks to me you are quite unhappy that the governor is able to bring down the tension. |
DominusPrime:You are asking me for explanation when the State governor who intends to calm tense situation down has apologized and said he has taken steps to take the complain to the highest authority of the military and that people should stop destroying properties, and you sir was asking if the governor is mad? I think you should rather explain what you want him to do. or rather the hoodlums to do, continue the destruction of Lagos state? is that the plan? |
gidgiddy:These northern politicians are the real master of the game. The only time there can be any restructure in Nigeria or a break up is only and only when the 'Ogas' from the north want it to happen. Look at how they are playing southern Nigeria like puns on chessboard. The day East and West genuinely unite is the day Nigeria will be rescued from the task masters, unfortunately I don't see that happening anytime soon because they know how to catch southern Nigeria. Very simple, fan their ember of tribalism, whip up sentiment about who is better or worse than who. Also, hang placard of a thief on any of their leader that is likely to unite the people, demonize him and set his people against him, it has never failed them and its working again now. For now, love him or hate him, Tinubu up until this tollgate propaganda was the uniting face of majority of Yoruba. They set him up, he and the gullible Yorubas fell for it. Nnamdi Kanu, love him or hate him, commands more followership than any Igbo politician today. They know his bragging weakness, they are using that to pitch the west against him just because they noticed this protest gradually turning into revolution is playing perfectly well for IPOB agenda so they need to quickly demonize him by insinuating it's him and Igbos destroying properties in Lagos Very unfortunate that the revolution we crave might never happen in the lifetime of this generation. |
DominusPrime:So, what should people do? continue burning banks, tv stations and shops including looting and destroying the livelihood of law abiding citizens? |
openmine:Those soldiers whatever they motives were committed an heinous crime for using blunt force on protesters without provocation. But, a little bit of common sense will tell someone that even if it's just 1 soldier that aims his gun directly at about 1000 people crowded together, there is no way up a hundred people will not be dead. It sounds somehow that an adult will actually believe about 20 soldiers (according to the stories), aimed at a thousand plus people with the intention of killing them and they only got less than 10. In my opinion, what likely happened is that the government (or some politicians as the case may be) needed to hijack the protest because it was gradually turning into a revolution which would not be in their favour. They brought soldiers to start firing in the air in the dark, everybody ran helter skelter not knowing what is what. A few people got caught by stray bullet and some injured through stampede. They already infilterated the protesters with hoodlums to take charge immediately after in the destruction of properties, looting, killing innocent people, etc and thereby discrediting the whole protest and bringing it to a premature end. Makes sense? or have I been watching too many conspiracy movies? |
TheGoodJoe:Well, whatever you say, but he is not stupid like some people to believe that trained soldiers will be shooting live ammunition directly into the midst of about 2000 people crowded together for almost 10mins and it's only 7 abi na 17 people they were able to kill according to the story you are being fed. |
Amotolongbo:No, He is not. It's just that unlike some people that just jump on bandwagon and start shouting massacare without any facts, he is rather getting his facts by doing diligent investigation. 1. He visited hospitals 2. reviewing cctv camera footages 3. calling on people with more evidence or name of anybody dead or missing to come forward So far, he has got 2 people confirmed dead from the Lekki shooting, that doesn't mean the number cannot increase tomorrow if he has factual figures. If you know of any other one he has missed please point it out. The soldiers, and whoever orchestrated that shooting that night definitely have hidden agenda beyond what we saw, and it played out fine in the wanton destruction of lives and properties that followed, not to mention the tactical killing off the momentum the revolution was already gathering. Sanwolu is actually on the track of restoring normalcy by separating fact from fiction/propaganda/fake news to calm down the reasonable protesters who are just visibly angry based on what they were fed with. But as for the unreasonable hoodlums/thieves/rapists/arsonists and online 'follow follow people" that are being played by politicians, they are on their own. |
Sebastine1994:Well, You know the kind of school you sent your child to, so you shouldn't be suprised or alarmed such is happening. There are schools that all their long vacations must be spent on excursion outside the country. I guess those parents can afford it, and if your child is in such schools and you are trying to preach the morals of contentment there it may be effort in futility. My advice, if that school is one that encourages "showing off gifts" for school birthdays I advice you take your child away from there to a more modest one especially the one you can afford. your preaching will be met with much resistance from other parents who believe pampering a child with gifts or birthday bashes is what shows that you love the child. |
