I guess it's the outcome of bad parenting by the mum whose lifestyle is more disgusting than the daughter's.

my friend, u r talking with someone in the oil industry, I v worked in both local and foreign units, I v been working 13 yrs and I just returned from an assignment in sub saraha Africa. I know what i am saying. Don't doubt me. Nigeria is a useless country, we see people go for trainings abroad and resume work everytime before the adverts are placed. I know what i am saying. When I came in recently our logistics guys told us they have carried more than 30 newly employed trainees to the airport going for courses in the USA and Dubai, as i speak with u now, adverts have been placed for those posts (all for formality) after already doing the employment. The most annoying is that they will deliberately allow pple who don't have money to eat borrow money to do all that travelling and paper work and in the end not give them the job. Look my brother /sister, Nigeria is filled with cursed people, whether rich or poor, the nation is controlled by Evil powers and will amount to nothing. I foresee a day when the Hunger will make people in the street begin to kill the so called big men and politicians that have held the country down, they will literally kill and cook the flesh of wicked people and eat , u will say somebody said it sometime ago. The number of dependents (many of whom are graduates) that some of us have makes it look like we don't have job also. The country can never be well again, it must die for new nations to spring forth.

whilst I will not discourage any one from applying, this man has valid points. I would have shared the chat shot I had with an employee of an oil service compny when I reached out to him for assistance regarding a position advertised in his company. They were already at the interview stage before they put out the opening. Some 2 years ago, I was at an assessment and after like 2 weeks when I sent a mail for update, one of the guys who was impressed by my perofrmance requested to have a private call with me, in his words- they will not call you, the position has been filled earlier . Note I did test, assessment center and had interviews. After about 2 months, I was sent a regret mail.Both are multinational companies. I don’t discourage people in applying to jobs, keep hope alive but don’t ever focus your whole attention on an application.

My friend was working at Access Bank customer care on the Lagos Island, having worked for 7 years without promotion (100k salary) they guy kinda tilt towards his family for help and some how he bought his first car at 36 years.

My SU brother toiled for UBA not having time for his family (Monday to Saturday) with masters degree, he worked for them for almost 8 years, that faithful day when him reach office them just hand am sack letter. Polygamous family is the worst type of family you'll ever find yourself into.

I mentioned on a thread a polygamous home is not one any young woman should wish for, some persons came with the argument that there are happy polygamous homes. I can say anywhere a polygamous home is a home of troubles. its obvious, most polygamous men, the wealthy ones see women and money as their reason for their existence. They don't believe in family and they show less care for their children. Many times, the training and development they owe the child given their capacity never happens. If you a young woman who has the thought of being a second or third wife to a rich man. please have another thought for they sake of your children. This is not to say there are no monogamous man that are dead beat dads. a polygamous man is just an easy one to identify.

Everyone is talking data which is more of IT and so I had to upskill myself. Upskill your self before you even consider Uk or Nigeria. You have a year to do menial jobs and upskill yourself. Hello bro, no one will hire you just because you have a German Masters... mention the skills you have.
5. You are still young and fit into trainee age range in Nigeria, so apply for the jobs.
