Kcitytv, I was in Kaduna for the first time last year April. I visited this park and there was no swimming pool. A construction was ongoing by the gate. The crocodiles at the fountain looked hungry. The Lord Lugard bridge was covered with grass. The whole place looks like it needs a young management that can think out of the box and make it more fun and maintain it.

TravelRe: Some Interesting Tourist Sites In Nigeria, with photos by spiralwedge(m):
Insecurity is the problem and bad roads. I won't advise anyone to go to that Adamawa in particular, unless you understand Hausa and have been to the North before.
I travelled from Lagos to Kano by road. I felt like a total stranger and unsafe. There were too many dangers and fear of them.
Even the police don't understand tourism and you can be harassed for taking ordinary pictures.
If you like adventure, I'd advice you do it in our neighbouring countries. Nigeria is dead and a failed state. We are just patching, one day it will tear down except God intervenes.

This man that should rot in jail in other climes, but here he is still making yanga for our faces. Nigeria don suffer o. Most of the Abacha loots were facilitated by him and he is in stupendous wealth owning several estates in the middle East and North Africa.

We are not a serious nation. Because people like this man can single-handedly sponsor an armed terrorist group.

Time to ban BBC from Nigeria. BBC in particular. BBC loves to highlight the bad in their former "trophies", but repackages the ills in the UK and hides them as sub-news.

BBC is the major racist institution in the UK.

Gbadamosi should go and bury his head in PDP, a misfit.

not only did religious people, Pentecostalism and Catholicism ruined it but EDUCATION played it's role also.....
Education? my grannies were born in 1910s and were thoroughly educated. My granny was a top shot where he worked. In all his pictures, he was the only black man sitting with the whites with 3-piece suits, while the others are either standing at the back or lying on the floor, including some whites.

I wouldn't say education per se, FEMINISM is more like it. I'd squarely blame it on the culprits I mentioned earlier.

Stup!d. It was all over SM and you never told anybody. Nonsense! So the governors should act based on what they saw on SM.

The price we have to pay for negligence and incompetence from the top and also from citizens. The glory we had for curbing the Ebola all gone.

How beautiful it would have been if we had shut down the country earlier and be Covid19 free. That would have been a positive for this cursed country after a long while

ajl:
Productivity for any project does not work that way. It's like a slave mentality to have workers in place you arranged for them without any other resources for a break or leisure, and you expect them to be 100% productive. Do you understand how the brain and human body work. The employers you listed are those who believe in using workers as slaves. Even if you don't provide a TV set, you as an employer must provide resources for leisure or break. Look, I used to work at one of the very top oil&gas companies in the USA. I was invited from Canada to the USA where the head office is located for an interview. After the 3 hours of meetings, discussion and presentation, I was taken round the huge complex of the company. And while walking around with a future colleague, he pointed to a soccer pitch right in the middle of the complex. He said they play soccer every lunch time. It was at that point I decided that, man I am joining this company. I am a soccer addict. There are gyms, basketball court. Almost every day at lunch time for 30 to 45 min we play soccer.. Some days we used to play table tennis. This way you are working with employees who are physically and mentally balanced, and healthy. The company benefit from this as well. You don't get the best out of people by putting them under a "slave" condition. Apparently Nigerians love to be abused. Just yesterday, I saw a news of an Indian company that locked it staff up to work continously for several months in spite of Covid-19 only for extra N5k per month without adequate food.
The rubbish you wrote up there works in other climes, not here. I worked many years in the UK and I know how it is. I'm still flabbergasted at Nigerians' attitude to work.

In Nigeria, knowing the type of people we have, it is important to be very strict, and always be on the watch out. If you don't, they will ruin your life, money, business and time.
I'm sure they were provided other means of leisure, but not the one you are advocating in your epistle.
If you want to get 100% results with Nigerian workers, be ready to be on your feet 100%. Be ready to do oversight X2 of what is obtainable elsewhere.

True talk.

Religious people ruined it, especially Pentecostalism and Catholicism. Our grandfathers were very pious and yet managed their homes and careers successfully with many wives
