hahn:I agree with you to a large extent except the bold. Yes, you're right. A lot of people don't understand the God concept. The Bible says in Proverbs 4:7, "Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding". But sadly and regrettably enough, some people don't even have commonsense not to talk of getting the principal thing. MisterGrace, please I'm not trying to insinuate anything, neither am I saying you shouldn't trust God for a job. But then, always remember that it is written, "Faith without works is death". Sorry for your troubles, we all have our shares. |
The senate is simply saying the obvious. The situation is even made worse by their C-in-C who's as blind as a bat. Pathetic lot..... |
Thank you GEJ, great patriot of our time. |
How can you for many years cried and weep to be the President of Nigeria without first understanding the office? Now it's been confirmed. Zombies voted a dunce into office. SMH |
Abdulgaffar22 my brother, do not think that because you can open the Bible and read it, or probably copied and paste whatever you see on the internet, then you've become a scholar of some sort who can interpret and make pronouncement. As concerning Jesus, for the fact that you can't even properly identify His personality makes you very unfit to speak on His Person. What you're tryna do can be likened to one, who upon reading some journals on medicine, claims superiority of knowledge over a qualified medical doctor, or attempts to carry out a surgery. It is commonsense that while reading these journals, you're bound to come across some terms and vocabularies which only an initiate can explain. So if I were you, I'd rather focus on studying the Quran and becoming a better Muslim, than meddling in something I have a very vague understanding of. |
Image123:There's something you have to know about these so-called atheists. No doubt, a lot of them may sincerely not believe in God or gods due to the 'workings' of the evil one. Of course, they (victims) are unconscious of this manipulation. But note that a greater number of them that are called "atheists" are simply masquerading under that banner to attack the believers- being the very "wicked spirits in high places". Now to the topic. Well, some school of thoughts like the Rosicrucians and Eckists believes in reincarnation. But in Christianity, the Bible teaches no such thing but the RESURRECTION. Since it is "appointed for man to die once, after which, judgement". |
Good development. |
No doubt, Atiku is up to something. Anyways, he would have been a better choice last year, compare to that colossal failure of a man from Daura. |
Bunch of nonsense. SMH |
Well done OP. You see, these people (so-called grace preachers) have actually converted the grace of God into a license (Jude 1:4) to break God's holy, righteous and good Law (Romans 7:12). Ask why a Law described as "holy, righteous and good" will suddenly becomes expired, burdensome and a curse, and you'd never get an answer. If holiness, righteousness and goodness has been 'nailed to the cross'—abolished, what then shall we practice and keep—the opposite ![]() To these set of people, the phrase "the righteousness of God through Jesus Christ" is an anthem to them. They shout to high heavens about their incredible freedom brought by grace (I wonder who's in bondage, since the Law I know is not just the law of liberty but also perfect—James 1:25). However, it should be noted that their kind of freedom isn't that brought about by the "law of liberty" accompanies by grace, but a liberty brought by the "prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience" (Ephesians 2:2). Interesting enough, this spirit that works in them is also called the "lawless one", whom the Lord will destroy at the appearing of His coming (2 Thessalonians 2: . And so, it is not surprising then that these "sons of disobedience" always seeks to do their father's desires—lawlessness (John 8:44-45).Now speaking of righteousness, Matthew 6:33 says, "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness.......". But what is "righteousness" that a Christian must seek? Looking back at Romans 7:12 quoted earlier and Psalm 119:160, we see that the Law is also called "righteousness". But then, we read somewhere that "righteousness is imputed by faith in Jesus Christ, not by 'works of the law'". Is the Bible contradictory as some claims? Certainly no! But how then can one reconcile righteousness by faith and righteousness by law—will you only accept the former because you believed you're under grace, and reject the latter? Dear brother, what these people (so-called grace teachers) don't know is that accepting one of these truth and discarding the other only breeds contradiction (where there's none), confusions, denial and hypocrisy—of which God authored not. So, for a sound biblical teaching to be established, these truths must blend—agrees! Of course they'd rather hold on to their "grace gospel" (wonder where they get that kind of gospel from), than coming to terms with all of God's word. May God help them rightly divide His words. |
God who created all things, did perfectly called those who says He doesn't exist as "fools". Nothing can be truer than this description. To these set of people, leaving them to wallow in their foolery is the best option. |
Hello Ken4Christ, how are you my brother? Yes, as per your contribution to this thread concerning the so-called "rapture", I'm sorry to say that your submission is ridiculous and self-deluded! You've bear witness to the fact that the word "rapture" is unbiblical, in other word- a fabrication, but still went ahead to ascribed it as a Bible teaching. Hello! From whence did you get such a teaching from since it is obviously not in the Bible? Note that what you're propagating is simply a fiction of your imagination as a result of misinterpretation or misrepresentation of biblical teachings. For example, cunningly using the phrase "caught up" to equal or validate rapture. And please, do not always read meanings to scripture, for the Bible always explain itself when it matters most. Jesus ASCENDED into heaven, He didn't rapture nor did those whose graves were opened. Nowhere does the scripture even remotely suggested that Jesus ascended into heaven with any body. Those resurrected during His (Jesus) resurrection were resurrected to life, and they simply went about living their normal lives again as seen in the case of Lazarus! The rapture, like many other 'invention' such as: trinity, is to counterfeit God's authentic doctrines which in this case is the RESURRECTION! If you want to talk about something, then talk about the resurrection which is one of the doctrine in the Bible- not rapture- it doesn't exist! It is after the resurrection that the saints are "caught up" in the sky with the Lord. This is biblical teaching! Bye now. |
LMAO..... Crazy guys. |
RabbaRabbi:LMAO.... You know, this kind of thread and others out there serves as an "amusement spot" for me. I mean, anytime I'm bored, I look for them! Such a funny Op...... |
This is unacceptable! How can such a paltry sum be allocated to a State that contributes the highest revenue in the country? Now, why wouldn't there be agitation here and there and even hatred for this government, when all it does is to cheat, marginalised, and persecute opposition States? Or are these wicked acts signs of love? Damn it! |
trishapal:Interesting. So, ain't you also guilty of the same thing since you're a minister there? |
otemanuduno:Says one who doesn't know the true history of the Church. |
The notoriety of this government in works of fiction is second to none. SMH |
The dullard and his band of thieves should enjoy their reign of terror while it last. |
Buhari is the greatest scam of the 21st century. Pity for zombies. |
This article best suits the author's belly, and reflects only his thoughts. The fact is that GEJ has done his best and bowed out. He didn't claim to be perfect- nobody is near perfection. At Oxford, Johnathan reeled out his achievements in office and offers counsel to those in need. So, OP what the heck is your problem? |
This fictitious $2.1bn is the greatest political comedy of all time. Creators of this show actually thought it a great tool in entertaining their zombies. SMH |
I think the question should rather be, "Where is Buhari's government heading to"?. Perhaps, it is only destined to hit the rock; back to back! |
felixomor1:LMAO... I don't get it! Why's he tryna shove his "ape descent" down our throat? He's really mad at you for disassociating yourself from his ilks- apes! Very funny...... |
Whoever has given the OP this kind of weed must be wicked than Buhari! Sorry my dear. E no go better for am... |
Good one from ARG. We know those blood thirsty herdsmen are TERRORISTS. And their useless threats from their terror organization only goes to confirmed it. |
OLAADEGBU:Very lame. You can't break any thing down for me, neither are you even grasping the import of what you're reading. This is not surprising anyways, for it is written: "With them indeed is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah which says: 'You shall indeed hear but never understand, and you shall indeed see but never perceive" (Matthew 13:14). |
OLAADEGBU:Dear brother, I want to believe you're sincerely seeking the truth and wish to keep same. But it really saddens me when you make certain statement such as the bold above. This and many others exposes your ignorance and shallowness of scripture. Yes, the Sabbath is a SIGN between God's people. For who are the Israelite—the Jews? Romans 2:28-29, "For he is not a real Jew who is one outwardly, nor is true circumcision something external and physical. He is a Jew who is one inwardly, and real circumcision is a matter of the heart, spiritual and not literal". Here, we see that Christians are also Jews and circumcised. Brother, are you a Jew by descent? No, but a Christian is called a Jew, and by extension, an Israelite! And what do you mean that the Sabbath SIGN wasn't given to the Church? Speaking of Moses, the scripture says, "This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness...." (Acts 7:38, KJV). The Church didn't start in the NT, it existed also in the wilderness! And as we have it today, it is built directly on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the Chief builder! (Ephesians 2:19-20). Please understand it! Jesus came to give the proper interpretation of the Moral Law. He made us realise that the Sabbath law was the only one that can be broken and yet remain blameless. You can break it without breaking the Moral Law. Jesus gave examples of those who broke it and remained blameless. David and others broke it and remained blameless (Matthew 12:2-5). Israel marched on that day (Numbers 33:3; Leviticus 23:5-11; Joshua 6:12-16), Israel set up the tabernacle on that day (Exodus 40:1, 17; Lev. 23:5-11); They searched Canaan on the Sabbath day (Numbers 13:25); They made war on that day (1 Kings 20:29; 2 Kings 3:9; Joshua 6:12-16). Jesus made us realise that the Sabbath (Rest) was made for man, that is, as a blessing, not a cruel burden. That we should do well on Sabbath days. Jesus, the Son of man, established the Sabbath day when He "rested from all His work which God created and made" (Genesis 2:3) and so as the Creator of all things (John 1:1-3), He definitely had all authority and power over the Sabbath day, especially "to do well on the sabbath" (Mathew 12:12).Good! So what happened—why is the blessing of the Sabbath no longer needed—why is it now a burden? By your words, you've confirmed that the Sabbath is a blessed time—day. Has what God blessed and sanctified suddenly then becomes obsolete and a curse? Indeed, the Lord of the Sabbath is the only One with absolute authority on this matter. He kept the Sabbath and left us an example to do same, yes, since Christians are to follow His steps (1 Peter 2:21). The question is, are you really following His steps as laid down? Did you study the original Greek? Have you got a degree in it?I'm a learned person, well versed in whatever I speak on. Piece of advice: Always get your facts right. This saves you lots of embarrassment and shame. Where do you put the Holy Spirit who is the 3rd Person in the Godhead? There's nothing like the "third person in the Godhead". Of course if you need more enlightenment, I'm always at your service. Only if you are a Jew.Hmm. Brother, yes, Christians are Jews (Romans 2:28-29). I know we learn everyday, which is why I can as well bear with you in your learning process. I believe I have made myself clear in the posts above. Jesus the Lord of the sabbath represents man and He has given us the proper interpretation of how the Sabbath can be of benefit to man. The Son of God became the Son of man so as to make man become the sons of God. Got it?I wish you were able to get your facts right. But unfortunately, you're still crawling on all four scripturally. Anyways, there's always room for improvement—you can learn the right things if you sincerely wish. Sorry, I refused to accept glaring errors. Yes, I've deliberately ignored your often abused of the word "Grace", which you've converted to a license (Jude 1:4) to break God's holy, righteous and good Law (Romans 7:12). This is because talking on grace and your misunderstandings is another topic on its own, as I don't like mixing things up to avoid confusion, for God is no author of such. I know this phrase "the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ" is an anthem to you. Not you alone, but fellow band of misguided so-called "grace preachers" and their adherents. Matthew 6:33, "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness.......". But what is "righteousness" that a Christian must seek? Looking back at Romans 7:12 quoted earlier and Psalm 119:160, we see that the Law is called "righteousness". But then, we read somewhere that "righteousness is imputed by faith in Jesus Christ, not by 'works of the law'". Is the Bible contradictory as some claims? Certainly no! But how then can you reconcile righteousness by faith and righteousness by law—will you only accept the former because it suits your belly, and reject the latter? Be the judge. However, while at it, know that accepting one and discarding the other will only breeds confusions, denial and hypocrisy—of which God authored not. So what then? Simple. You must rightly divide the word of truth! How? Brother, I'm at your service anytime. Bye now. |
GEJ made that comment as one in the know about the fictitious amount dished out to zombies as stolen and shared. He knows that even in the court of law, it can never be proven! Which is why this unfortunate government has resorted to media trials and convictions! |
SillyMods:Which court of law has proven that indeed the fictitious amount was stolen and shared Obviously, you're the dumbest! |
