RomanceRe: Can A Man Find 29+ Old Lady Attractive ? by spoilt(f): 5:47am On Jun 27, 2007
@davidylan
its a free country. you can think what you want.
society has never been kind to women in anything really. in africa at 25, you are virtually written off.in some villages its at 20 sef.  grin  its downright ludacris. soon men will be marrying 5 year old girls if only to try to recapture their own lost youth. ive seen ravaged single 40 year old men being picky and whiny and having the gall to complain about not wanting to marry an old hag who is just 28.  [s]but then again men have always been known to live in serious denial.[/s]
RomanceRe: Can A Man Find 29+ Old Lady Attractive ? by spoilt(f): 5:25am On Jun 27, 2007
its only in nigeria that people worry about a 29 year old woman's beauty fading. grin
at 29 a woman's life has barely begun.
on the other hand i think its guys in nigeria who seem to be aging fast. i definitely look better than most of my male agemates. maybe its hardship of naija or something but they have rail tracks on their foreheads before 25 sef. grin

THERE are lots of crazy people in Niaja.
I remember when there was a plane crash in Port Harcourt, this lady was giving testimony that she saw Abacha's face
in the Clouds and She saw him push down the Plane. what a nutter that woman is.

And during the last election, a man gave testimony in church that he saw President Obasanjo printing ballot papers on the Moon. He swore that he saw the presidential Plane fly down from the moon with rigged ballot papers. ( that man needs some mental check up)
what sort of dememted thread is this?
wiping tears of mirth from my eyes. i can't laugh any more.
nigerians will believe anything. isnt it the same nigeria where a beautiful woman was alleged to have fallen from the sky and landed on the ground at aswani market. the story concludes by the woman brushing off her dusty behind casually, picking up her handbag and walking away calmly and mingling with fellow shoppers. grin

RomanceRe: What's The Age Limit You Would Place On The Guy You Want To Settle Down With by spoilt(f): 5:13am On Jun 27, 2007
never say never. i never in a million years thought i would end up with a younger man. but i did. my husband is younger than me. and he is my 'bestest' 'bestest' friend.
age is often over emphasized. 2 people will always have differences no matter what ages they are. some people made a fuss about our age difference.that is their own lookout. grin
we are deliriously happy.

vigasimple:
Hello everyone, you have all spoken well.

The lady in question sholud pray very well and seek the guidance of men/women of God for God to reveal his will for her.

Let me tell you if God say she should remain in the house as a wife so be it, if God tell her to move on. case is close.

All other if's and but's, me no go accept nonesense, too much ill treatment are just human views and opinion.

The ultimate decision will come from God who shall speak to the lady and I can assure you she will never regret whatever decision she made once spoken to by God.

God doesn't lie or take bribe from anybody.

Prayers, prayers, prayers for the will of God to be know and done.

This to me if the lady follows that will be an happy ending story.

In the meantime, let us all pray and interceed on behalf of this family,

Father in the name of our Lord jesus Christ we ask you to come into the home of our sister on the behalf of which her friend is seeking advice, please Lord jesus let there be loving reconcillation and healing of heart. Let the unfailing love of God rule in this family. Let there be an everlasting testimony in Jesus name our Lord we have prayed. Amen

What form you can pray for them do so, as you do it God almighty will heal allyour own wounds in Jesus name.
prayer!prayer! and yet more prayer!
in as much as i believe in prayer, i dont think you should sit there while a goat begins to eat the palm fronds on your chieftaincy cap while you do nothing. grin

sometimes you have to take drastic action. eg when Jesus went into the tabernace and saw those folks buying and selling,he knew he had a situation. he didnt fall to his knees and start speaking in tongues to make them leave.he didnt embark on another 40 day fast. he drove them out himself!

what good will having a p.i follow him do? huh
sometimes you dont need an oracle to tell you what you already know. even if she finds out he's cheating she'll still have the same crazy optimism that nigerian women have to try and make it work against all odds. i tire. grin
FamilyRe: My Good Friend Is In Trouble. by spoilt(f): 3:44am On Jun 22, 2007
isnt it strange that some men take the dog -in -a -manger approach? they have you in their home, wont show you any love or affection (which women need to thrive) and then turn around deranged and chop you up in bits if you decide to leave. i dont get it. grin

well babyosisi i dont like to tag every problem a spiritual one. its just plain old lust in action. when a man gets enamoured by another woman, he honestly forgets the wife of his youth.
if his problem is that she forgave some people who wronged them in the yester years then he honestly must be one bitter shrivelled soul. grin

i believe that if a woman is leaving a rocky marriage she should leave when her enstranged husband is not in the house and she should leave to an undisclosed location. i dont know what is in the water that men in america drink that makes them find their enstranged wives and kill them. its always like a joke till it actually happens.

FamilyRe: My Good Friend Is In Trouble. by spoilt(f): 3:02pm On Jun 20, 2007
@batu
are you one of those african men that believe that a woman must die in a marriage no matter the conditions? shocked forget female emotions here. we all know that when a marriage goes down the drain its the woman and children that suffer most emotionally (and financially).

this marriage is dead. and has been for years.
no use prolonging the torture. but then again, thats what women are good at.(hoping against hope and worrying what the world will think of them) you cant force a man to love you. he has obviously taken his affection someplace else. batu everyone has an opinion.i see you copied and pasted my quote. yes thats what i believe. you dont have to ascribe to the same school of thought as i do. i work with what im given. we will never have the details of any story here on nairaland.with what we were given i suggest she leaves that farce of a marriage.

there's something about men who find lust in the laps of another woman. they suddenly become irrational and deaf. not even listening to elders at a family meeting. grin
let her keep hoping. there's nothing as tragic as loving someone who isnt even there to return your love.
goodluck to her.
im out.

i believe a woman should leave a man in a heartbeat rather than subject her children to anguish. the bible's definition of marriage is definitely different from what your friend is in.  grin

what kind of father stays out of his home for days ?
what kind of father shows no affection towards his God given wife?
what kind of father takes off to shack up with some strange woman forgetting he has kids?  shocked
i would want that man no where near my children because he really wouldnt have anything to teach my sons and hence will be of no use to me. angry

babyosisi:
There has been absolutely no physical intimacy for years in this relationship
shocked shocked shocked.
that alone tells you all you need to know. and that alone is grounds for seperation.
ive learnt to keep my nose out of other peoples affairs .especially couples.
you may mean well, but it nearly always backfires.  undecided. you've adviced her and told her what to do. its up to her to be decisive and take action. sometimes we pray and fast and wait on God to come down and take action when we know exactly what we should do.
its tempting. God its tempting to want to help a friend in distress. but if its not a close family member like a sister or blood relative then stay out of it. if this was my sister i would personally arrive at her doorstep after bros has gone to work and pack her crap and move her to an undisclosed location. why? because shes my blood and whatever hurts her, kills me.  cry but if its a friend or colleague i would do things differently if i were you.

many a woman has wound up dead because she wants to preserve a dead marriage "because of the children". but women you can only look after your children and nuture them if you are happy and alive sef.  grin
sometimes its better to be alone than unhappy.

@naijaking,
You can put the number of one staff that advertised on another thread earlier on in theoffer. I personally like the way he did his marketing and we should just help him to meet his target, that is the least we can do. The number he supplied was FPO2001856201. You never know when someone might bein a position to help. Trust me, i am not getting anything from him. I don't even know the guy.
i think so too. i remember the guy's helpful post.
