Intl students asides the cultural diversity and intellect they bring in are one critical area any country would want to attract by all means. I don't think the Uk is stupid enough to go that route.

For instance, all Intl students contributed $22 billion in 2019 to Canada's economy and helped sustain over 170,000 jobs. That's not a small number and a sizeable chunk of those are definitely Nigerians.
