Your future in japan is too uncertain. Don't fall for luck BS. It is too big a risk imo.

You definitely don't want to live like a fugitive or a prisoner for a good number of years. You can't move around freely. Friends and employers will take advantage of your illegal status, you will feel like shit. You will be forced to move around with people without questionable morals because of survival.

I didn't expect much. Some terrible characters, some good ones. It was cheesy and cliche enough.

The biggest issue was the sexism but isn't it what it is in either society.

I don't care about them.

Ask yourself if the country was like this 10 years ago.

shadeyinka:
Who took their cows away?

Was it the ordinary citizens they kidnap?

So sorry to become a devils advocate: a relation of mine was kidnapped two years ago by heavily armed Fulani militia in Kaduna state. There was no ideology but ransome in millions. They didn't release here for two good weeks with daily beatings which they made sure was done when the phone was connected to us to ensure compliance.

What did the police tell us?
"Try to pay up!"

Please, it is insensitive to defend these people,!
If government offend you, fight the government. Shikena!!
PoliticsRe: Strange As Gumi Locates Bandits, Herdsmen Hideouts But Army, Police Can't – Reno by Sterope(f): 9:30pm On Feb 21, 2021
Do you mean they didn't kidnap people, they didn't rape women, they didn't kill people?

The leader of the bandits they interviewed said they took his cows away. That was his source of livelihood. It happened amongst his people.

Arab Spring started that way but in this case, the man set himself on fire.

He was a victim, the women they rape are not Yorubas, they are their people. The farmers they terrorise are their people. The people they kidnap, the ones they killed are their people.

The victims are not your people but somehow you are still making it about tribe. The Northern region is going up in flames because of greed, corruption and BH. This is about a country that has failed to protect its people.

shadeyinka:
The Niger Delta militants were not fighting as criminals. They were fighting for their communities. There is a difference between kidnapping ,extortion AND armed civil disobedience.

Would you say the herdsmen were different from Evans the kidnapper?
PoliticsRe: Strange As Gumi Locates Bandits, Herdsmen Hideouts But Army, Police Can't – Reno by Sterope(f): 8:06pm On Feb 21, 2021
When Niger Delta militants began kidnapping people, were you a bigot about it?

The victims and the perpetrators are likely of the same ethnic group, but you want to make it tribal.

ESN doesn't have hostages. ESN isn't as powerful, I doubt if they have people in government. Try compare and contrast, it will help you a great deal.

I doubt you express these views when you read about Nigerian's military attack or arrests on these bandits. I am pretty sure you avoid such threads.

shadeyinka:
Its a failed state but it doesn't absolve it of its tribal sentiments.
In a multiethnic society, a failed state will avoid the security chiefs to come from some certain section of the tribe.
A failed state will always locate "enemies of the state" especially when they come from other section of the society.
A failed state is known by employment of lower cadre of personnel where senior officers abound (like EFCC boss).

Nigeria is a FAILED state and it is sadning!

Like the way, your governors know all the names and addresses of the armed robbers in your state.

It is very interesting how you have chosen not to see this as the consequences of a failed state but a tribal issue

shadeyinka:
The Fulani people heading our government know that the kidnappers, bandits or herdsmen are Fulani like themselves. They don't want to use maximum force to end their criminalities.

Unfortunately, the method they use has a multiplier effect on encouraging splinter groups to spring up. Right now, they pretend that they are in control of the situation!
PoliticsRe: Strange As Gumi Locates Bandits, Herdsmen Hideouts But Army, Police Can't – Reno by Sterope(f): 6:53pm On Feb 21, 2021
Obviously, the bandits are working with someone in the government. Isn't that like what most criminal enterprises do?

They killed someone; I don't they pretended to kidnap. I don't think the hostages think so either.

shadeyinka:
Pretending to kidnap so that the government will find reasons to bring money out!

If this is not, then the government is part of this criminality

Are you saying that the terrorists and kidnappers are religious?

Reno is just asking a question:
Why are some terrorists bombed while the religious ones cannot be found?
