January mamas for supernatural delivery. How's everyone doing? Trust all MS/spitting has gone and we are enjoying our second trimester. Any noticeable bumps yet? Baby kicks/flutters? Anyone started shopping yet? anyone else gotten TT injection shots? Anyone been able to check baby's gender?


I got my TT booster shot at my last doctors visit....I'd almost forgotten how uncomfortable that injection was, the injection spot irritated and itched me for almost 3days afterwards. The gyne did a scan to check baby but refused to tell me the gender even though my LO had legs open. He said the gender is either male or female so he's not bothered ...Im not sure if it was the bum I was seeing or the genitals but I didn't see balls so hopefully God has answered my prayers but I'd confirm at my next scan at or before 20weeks.

While it’s customary for the envelope and gifts be given to the woman’s mom (in the Igbo culture), only you know your mom and what her disposition to it is. If she’s expecting to be handed the gifts after the 3months omugwo, please do.
When my mom finished my elder sisters Omugwo, she snuck back the envelope into my sisters bag when she was leaving so I was sent back to return the money to her. But that’s just the kind of person she was and she felt it was her duty to take care of her kids and grandkids. But I’ve heard about mothers that insist on getting both monetary and material gifts after omugwo and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it especially if you can afford it.
Omugwo is more than just bathing the baby o, they take care of the mother as well.

July 6th means yesterday was your cycle day 11 and today day 12.
Use the strips to confirm ovulation.
29-34 days cycle, your cycle is still considered normal/regular (normal cycle length is between 21-35 days)....your excitement and anticipation of your hubby’s visit might have affected your hormones

The picture you showed of parallel runways does it hold small aircrafts, the render you showed is an airport larger than the ones in Abuja and Lagos. Which both have only one runway, to have two runways looking like that it should hold 50 million passengers per year, and we both know no where in Nigeria has that much demand.

Lagos has 2 parallel runways. Kano has 2 runways as well.....

I was referred to a urologist by a gynecologist. After examination and hormonal profile test, the urologist prescribe addyzoa, manix and enhanz for 3months. The sfa result after the 90days came out zeroes due to massive staph infection, the second one same thing. This is the 3rd result after the mediation.
However, when I was to get the last dose of the medication, the pharmacist told me that 2 of the drugs do the same thing and I shouldn't have been taking them together, but after telling him it was prescribed by a doctor he said OK.

So there’s improvement from azoospermia to 200,000. The infection may have been the major culprit, hope your partner treated alongside you?

You’d have to add vitamin E to manix et al or do the fertilaid combo brand for another 90days and reassess the situation. Also exercise, eat healthy and take fruits (watermelon with the seed/ cucumber)
Also, if you are trying to conceive then continue having intercourse with your dw....**baby dust**

Hey mamas and team December 2020

Unfortunately i am no longer in the race. Scan done some weeks ago indicated no fetal pole but with gestational sac and subsequent scan weeks after diagnosed molar pregnancy. A suction curettage was done immediately after the confirmed scan diagnosis, the placenta and fetal tissues removed were sent for histology and analysis to confirm the diagnosis. Results from the histology indeed confirms its molar pregnancy luckily for me it's a partial molar pregnancy (2 sperms fertilizing an egg).

I am sure some may know a thing or two on the rigours and risks associated with molar pregnancy, so as expected i have been advised not to get pregnant for atleast 6 month.

Well i took the whole experience in good fate, at the moment i am primarily focused on my baby girl(she is 8 months old) while also working from home etc. I will Start trying again in January. I believe strongly by God's grace i will be part of team November 2021.

We learn everyday! I’m just reading about molar pregnancies for the first time and sorry you had to go through that. I wish you speedy recovery and by November 2021 your daughter will be old enough to be running errands for her baby brother

As my other ladies have stated, your result is very poor...classified as severe oligospermia + mortility issues. But there’s hope and you’d need to work with a good doctor and put in the effort to achieve that.
Some of the possible causes of your condition include: Varicocele (enlarged veins in the scrotum), bad lifestyle (alcohol and drug abuse), overheating the testicles (wearing tight trousers, putting laptops on your laps) exposure to harmful chemicals, weight issues or hormonal Issues.


In addition to the lifestyle changes mentioned already, treatment options (apart from varicocele that requires surgery) includes: manix + Vitamin E (pocket friendly option) Or fertilaid for men + count boost + mortility boost (Not very pocket friendly) or Clomifene (if the issue is hormonal but your doctor will have to prescribe this one)....the drugs will be taken for not less than 90days before you begin to see a difference..

The consistency might be as a result of the infection and lifestyle changes can also change it.
Fertililaid products are unfortunately not very pocket friendly...maybe others with testimony of other products will share what they used.

My wife has been having a great journey until last week @ week 21 we registered for antinatal and given TT shot, malaria tab. Ever since then, it's been headache on and off, and worse off TOOTH ACHE. She has not slept all night. I wonder where it's coming from. We'll, I m certain it will pass. I LL like to get advise on how to handle this teeth thing so she can feel better asap. Thanks everyone. Good morning.
Unfortunately both headaches/toothaches are common/normal in pregnancy usually caused by hormonal changes.
She can find out what causes the headaches and try to avoid them, drink plenty of water, get adequate sleep, reduce screentime and stressors and take paracetamol to ease the aches and probably one with sleeping aid to help her sleep. She can use baking soda to brush (gently and twice daily) or apply clove to the tooth to ease the pain.

The main cause of mine was lack of sleep...so I’ve been consciously trying to sleep earlier but I use paracetamol 2tabs or one tab of Tylenol pm (it has sleeping aid)
Try and find out the cause of the headaches tho...and I don’t think you’re supposed to exceed 6tabs a day

Too many nonentities out there because our parents focused on raising good wives and mothers and left the boys to run around unrestrained.

I don’t have any issues, my husband was trained very well and I’m confident we’re bringing up our son to be humane and responsible. Unfortunately too, boys are at risk of predatory issues too so one has to be careful too. God help us!

I wanted a girl those days because girl clothes are so cute and lots of options. At least someone can shop unlike with boys clothes, na shirt and jeans options don finish lol. But now I just see it as additional expense because I've gotten used to the straightforward nature of shopping for boys, especially how my boys can share and inherit each other's clothes.

Last last na the hair matter tire me pass. If I have a girl God help me let her not be that type that wants to carry the finest hair but will be crying when they see comb. I just can't deal I go shave the thing comot. Who hair epp?

But cute clothes aside, caring for girls can’t be easy. You’d have to start wiping from front to back to prevent infections from their tiny age..then worrying about predators that’s the part that frightens me the most.

I normally have MS but my glow na die. Even this time I'm glowing but I refuse to read meaning into it lol. Sincerely though I don't care if it's boy or girl. I sincerely can't imagine the stress of plaiting girl's hair, etc. I really don't mind another boy as per less stress we just raise our 3 soldiers dey go but na girl dey take care of parents so girl will still be good. That's why I'm not checking.

I’ve had pimples/rashes since this journey started but my boy pregnancy I was even using coconut oil and my skin was great.
I initially didn’t want a girl cos I naturally struggle to maintain relationships with females (grew up with boys and work in a male dominated field) so I felt I’d struggle with raising a girl...but I envy girls that have special father/daughter bonds and I want same relationship for my dh/daughter cos I didn’t have it.
Also, baby girl clothes are soooooo cute..all the tutus and ribbons and leggings, and hair braiding.....I’d find out soon sha fingers crossed

Thank You, I have done pelvic scan at two different labs and HSG result will pick up HSG result tomorrow. Pelvic Scan result says there are three fibroids. Posterior wall (intramural) , Fundal region (Subserous), and upper anterior (subserous). Endometrium is displaced by the fibroid.

Does this mean I have to fo for surgery before getting pregnant? Hubby' SFA results test will be done this week.

Unfortunately, the fibroids might be the cause of the clots in your menstrual flow and usually when it’s already giving you problems it can also hinder conception. Talk to your doctor but you might need to remove it...although unless you’re above 35yrs, a doctor will not really do anything about infertility unless you’ve been actively trying to conceive for 1year
