As we all know that the world is battling coronavirus to survive and Nigeria is not exempted. The virus is growing in Nigeria on a daily basis and this has made the government to increase the stay at home order to four weeks to curb the spread of the deadly virus which has killed hundreds of thousands of people globally. But in Abuja here, people can no longer cope with the lockdown because a lot of them depend on daily income for their survival. Foodstuff sellers are not also helping the matter. They have seized the opportunity to exploit people by increasing the prices of goods to unaffordable amounts. Beggars have now taken over the cities of Abuja and daylight robbery is ongoing too. Is this how we will continue to suffer? What is the situation in your area? Watch the video for the full gist and share your experience too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=27zvPuQe0mQ |
domDva:Everyone has their calling and we cannot pursue the same thing in this life. Allow the Westerns to paddle the canoe and let the Africans paddle theirs too. |
Nobody asked the poster to publish this. The man of God humbly said what he claimed that God revealed to him during his message and the poster brought it here for the usual criticism of the men of God, especially the genuine ones. If it were witches association or one herbalist that said this, many would be trembling. |
Mavrick2012:This is a provocative question. You should have asked the Holy Spirit if you are a true Christian instead of seeking public opinion about what your Christian faith teaches. |
If I say there is no country called One Nigeria some people will disagree with me, but that is the truth. The truth is not far fetched from the actions of the past presidents and the present one. Virtually all the presidents who came from the north served the north with the national resources and the business has not changed. The biggest mistake came from Lord Lugard amalgamation of 1914. There was no one Nigeria before, that man just put three different nations together and his wife named them as Nigeria. In as much as Nigeria exists has a pseudo country, corruption, nepotism, tribalism, terrorism, poverty, injustice to mention but a few will continue to torment the citizens. We were not one from the beginning and we are not one now and we can never be one. The disparities in our ways of life and mentalities are the major cause of setback for the country. A president from the north will rule to favour the northerners, a president from the west will rule to favour his people too and if he fails to favour them they will see him as an unwise man. If he is from the south-east, he will do the same. If a man from another region is ruling and he is making progress in his administration, some political leaders will create a group of terrorists to cause a problem in the country just to discredit the efforts of the man in power. That is why we have different terrorist groups today in the country. So, why are we deceiving ourselves with the name One Nigeria? Let's part and let every region stands as a nation and produces its president. Consider the advanced countries in the world, such as America, Canada, China, Germany, the UK and the rest. These countries have one thing in common. They don't have different ethnic groups or languages as we have in Nigeria and other countries in Africa. The citizens in each of these countries see themselves as one and it makes it so easy for their leaders to rule them without having the feelings of being marginalised or sidelined by government policies. For instance, if a man from a certain region in Nigeria is caught in the web of corruption and the anti-corruption bodies want to play their roles, his people will cry that they are persecuting him because of his tribe or religion. But if we are all one, criticism of such will not arise as all hands will be on deck to fight corruption. This is why Nigeria needs to split into three nations. The Yorubas should create their Oduduwa Republic, Hausas should have their own nation as Arewa or whatever they choose to call it and the Igbo should go for their Biafra. We have been in this false oneness of a country for many years and we are not making progress as we ought to. So, let's try something else by splitting into three nations and watch what will happen to each region in a few years. |
I came across this page on Facebook broadcasting a motioning image in the sky. The beam of lights and appearance gives him the resemblance of the Son of God. But when I evaluated it biblically, there is no correlation with what the Bible says about the second coming of Jesus Christ. Can anyone watch the video via the link below and explain what is happening? https://www.facebook.com/Must.Conneries/videos/859800484536357/?app=fbl |
Wrong people in the helm of affairs. No wonder there are setbacks in the country. People without vision, corruption has taken away the sense of their reasoning. In a time like this, this minister should propose online education for primary and secondary schools. Ask the Federal Government to earmark a certain amount from the donated fund to take care of such a project or write to the internet service providers asking them to support online classes by giving 1gb or 2gb to students and teachers which will last for a month but he can not find a solution in the midst of problem. What a blind leader! |

YorubaKinging:AntiChrist can not surface without the rapture of the saints from this falling world. Read your Bible again. |
Mine does not cause serious sickness but brings headache when it grows to a certain level and when I notice that, I will quickly go to barbershop and cut it. But during this lockdown I can not cut it when it started giving me headache because salons do not open. I have been to my salon on two different occasions to check whether it open or not but no show. Although I am not having the headache again, I guess the hair or my head understands that there is lockdown. TalkTalkTwins: |
Festival of fire outbreak in the FGN big offices. |
soohib:Guy, I laughed at this your question because you won't get 1 kobo from that money. |
Irresponsible politicians breeding irresponsible children to replace them. |
Officialgarri:Your comment is also full of blunders, which includes the use of articles, punctuations and tenses |
Babatunde40:Why did you reply him? Many of those guys saying rubbish here are kids who are still depending on their parents for their daily meal. |
If the Internet was good enough in Nigeria and there was a stable power supply, virtual education via zoom app or adobe connect would have taken the place of this radio classes. |
Melezenawii:The gesture is good and commendable but the title of your post is wrong. This is because it is not Buhari's money but the Federal Government of Nigeria and every citizen is entitled to benefit from it. |
With this discrimination and inhuman treatments from Chinese to Nigerians in their country, our governments still sought their help by pretending that nothing has happened. How will they respect us? This is the time to do away with the Chinese until justice is done to appeal the souls of the maltreated Nigerians there. They need to apologize to them. But our government displayed another "I don't care attitude" because they want to embezzle the donated funds. Those of you shouting afonja and ipob are not wise at all. We are here talking about a serious issue that concerns the entire country but you guys are displaying tribalism. Are you people okay at all? Like leaders like followers. |
Emmakohodis747:Guy, you should have first give commendation to the good gesture. Besides, how did you know that their members have no food at home? Onisokuso |
whizqueen:You are welcome. Keep safe! |
@Whizqueen, please ignore those ones saying rubbish about your look. You are wonderfully and beautifully created by God. In fact, God did not create anyone to be ugly but we are the ones who coined the word "ugly" out of a mindset of inferiority complex. So, you look beautiful the way you are. |
Whomever coined the topic as "My husband, Ajimobi cheated twice and I forgave him" is a pervert and subtle person. |
GreenKalada:I can't just stop laughing at your request. You wan go hussle them badly. |
Another friendly match to cover up their shame. Chadian soldiers did not wait for their enemies, boko haram to attack them countless times before taking the aggressive battle to their camp. |
CoronaVirusPro:This is not stupidity and stop defending a failed government who does not care about you and the entire citizens. Have you forgotten that a king leads the battle? No one is asking President Buhari to carry weapon and fight boko haram but his presence or a visit to the soldiers in their camp will encourage them. Besides, he promised to fight insurgency by leading the battle but he is not doing that. |
Rotjijatau:You brother has done a nice job. However, I will suggest he should use different primary colours to beautify his work and not just black and grey colours. This will make the products more attractive and people will like to have them in their offices or living room. |
This is a national and international shame to Nigeria. The governments have been fighting the Boko Haram shadows all this while in a bid to fool the citizens and the world that they are fighting terrorism. But when God was ready to help and expose their lies, He stirred up the armies of a small nation to fight the battle and gave them victory because of their sincerity. This reminds one of the popular and strong verses in the Bible which says, "Instead, God chose things the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise. And he chose things that are powerless to shame those who are powerful." |
Zoom for online classes With the COVID-19 pandemic ramping up its spread, human beings are being forced to stay inside and this has halted the learning of students in schools. But, the self-quarantined students still need to learn and interact. The videos sharing platform Zoom has become the go-to spot for schools. It can be used for virtual education and students will still have a similar learning experience like that of a physical classroom. Teachers will be able to log in, schedule their classes, and send out invites to students. Students are not required to have a Zoom account and can join classes using the links sent from the teacher or by using the teacher's personal identification code. It allows teachers to organise live online classes on a variety of subjects for ages 3-18. However, there is a misconception that zoom app consumes a lot of data for transmission but this is not true. Although you need to have a data plan on your mobile devices to start or join a video meeting. When your mobile device is running in 3G or 4G/LTE mode, the zoom app will only send a maximum of 1MB/min of data in accordance with Apple's guideline for bandwidth usage for a data plan. This means that a 40-minute lesson will only consume 40MB. If you are interested in this, I offer a 40-minute free live training for teachers on how to use the zoom app for effective online classes. This 40-minute training session with live Q&A will cover the power of virtual teaching and learning in the Zoom classroom for students and teachers. The basics of setup and devices, scheduling with Zoom classrooms as well as hosting and participating in Zoom Room Meetings will be demonstrated and discussed during the training session. Zoom meeting invitation - Zoom Application For Online Classes Training I am inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting. hotwax:Thank you for your contribution, I understand. I asked the questions because many contributors here disagree that the 5G network cannot aid the spread of COVID-19 and I wondered why they said so without any reasonable explanation from anyone of them. As for me, there is always an element of truth in every rumour. Some people just make unreasonable contributions here and expect everyone to believe them. |
To everyone who calls those who believe that the 5G network contributes to the spread of coronavirus ignorant and illiterates without any evidence to debunk their claim, you are also guilty of the same offence. They have read and heard about what you called a conspiracy theory and they seem to agree with it while you guys disagree. Then, explain to them why they are wrong with scientific proofs. To whom it may concern: 1. What connection does a biological virus have with a computerised virus? 2. Why would the proposed vaccine for coronavirus be a microchip implant? My question two seems to be a rumour but in every rumour, there is an iota of truth. |
