Go back to February 2015 to be specific Boko was running wild and holding territory and we still had not dealt with the international embarrassment of the Chibok girls.

It was before the Elections and Goodluck had been made to look highly incompetent at the TIME.

The Chadians were invited and it is well documented. They advanced so quickly and indeed we stopped them from advancing any further. National pride I presume.

There are those who are here who can give us even more details about how they advanced into Nigeria at our request. As well as for how long certain areas were under Boko control before they were uprooted by the Chadians.

So what is it that gets you so angry and indignant about the Chadians.
1. I don't hate Chad I respect them and believe they are battle hardened.
What I hate is the over hyping.
You claim Chad came into Nigeria on our request to help clear boko Haram around 2014/2015. According to vice news that documented some operations of the Counter insurgency war in Nigeria,We carried Out More of The Work than Chad,Now dis guy is Not a Nigerian (Lets Not Say he been Patriotic grin) From Airstrikes to artillery we degraded BHT...
Chad assisted us In operations they never carried out any alone except in their territory
Now one question why was it when ISWAP hammered them for 7hours and killed nearly 100 of them they decided to launch op boma Anger still with the help of Nigeria and Cameron pre Airstrike before Ground offensive.
They said they killed 1000 and according to SamuelAnyawu more than 30 guntrucks was seen moving into Nigeria during the period of the offensive.
Why were They harbouring such Large Amount of Bastards...
What champion are they proving
Or lemme say they are champions
But what is it they have done we haven't done better.

On two different occasions the Chadians have come to our RESCUE. Once in February 2015 and their advance was so rapid we had to tell them to stop. And again quite recently before their withdrawal a 2/3 months ago.

What the NA was not been unable to achieve in years the Chadians were able to do in weeks.

So why did you come up with this nonsensical proposition that they will refuse to leave Nigeria.

To what purpose or benefit, that's simply not even rational to put it lightly.

They say " Pride comes before a fall" we are stuck in the delusional idea that we have some tag giant of Africa.

Wake up we have an over inflated view of our nation. That only we seem to have.
I hate this rubbish you say ehh.
"What Nigeria has not been able to achieve in Years Chad achieved in Weeks"if I may ask what is it that they did.

In the Words of our Defense PRO : WHAT CHAMPION ARE THEY PROVING

Let's start the argument

CAPACITY BUILDING: NAF GRADUATES ANOTHER SET OF INSTRUCTOR PILOTS AT 401 FYING TRAINING SCHOOL, KADUNA

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) today, 17 July 2020, graduated another set of Instructor Pilots (IPs) at the 401 Flying Training School (401 FTS) Kaduna. The IP Course 12/2020 Course had 6 participants, comprising one Wing Commander, 2 Flight Lieutenants and 3 Flying Officers drawn from different platforms and units in the NAF, who completed the intensive 4-month training. Speaking during the ceremony, the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, represented by the Commandant Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), Air Vice Marshal (AVM) Abdulganiu Olabisi, noted that 401 FTS had continued to fulfill its statutory role of providing effective flying training for almost 40 years as evidenced by the quality of its graduands over the years. He therefore implored the school not to rest on its oars but to continue to strive towards more realistic training consistent with the operational imperatives in today’s aviation industry, producing the next generation of NAF aviators.

While congratulating the graduands for marking another significant milestone in their careers, the CAS reminded them that, as critical elements in the operational cycle, they must endeavour to contribute their quota to the upliftment of the standard of student pilots’ training thereby enhancing effectiveness of operations in the Service. He also urged the graduands to work harder, read wider and fly with more precision in order to satisfy quest for knowledge of their students and set the right example. “I can assure you that if you are prepared to do these, then you will find fulfillment in the job that you do and enjoy the rest of your flying career”, he added. The CAS therefore enjoined them to seize the opportunities available to make a positive impact in the NAF and leave a legacy for their students who would remember them for the rest of their Service lives. The CAS also commended the Air Officer Commanding Air Training Command, (AOC ATC) the Commander 401 FTS, IPs and other staff for their hard work and unflinching drive towards churning out yet another batch of new IPs for the NAF. The CAS assured them that the Service, on its part, would continue to support their activities within available resources to provide result-oriented training.
Earlier in his welcome remarks, the Commander 401 FTS, Group Captain Nasiru Saidu, while thanking the CAS for his unrelenting support to the Unit, stated that the 6 Student Instructor Pilots (SIPs), who were drawn from various operational Units in the NAF, completed the IP course with high levels of airmanship and were therefore ready for deployment to both DA-40NG and Super Mushshak aircraft as instructors.

One of the highlights of the ceremony was the presentation of Certificates and Badges to the Graduands. Also present at the event were the representative of the AOC ATC, Deputy Director Operations HQ NAF, Principal Staff Officers of ATC as well as Commanders and Commandants of co-located NAF Units in Kaduna.

LATE FLYING OFFICER AROTILE TO BE BURIED IN ABUJA WITH FULL MILITARY HONOURS ON 23 JULY 2020 AS MINISTERS OF WOMEN AFFAIRS, INFORMATION, MEMBERS OF NATIONAL ASSEMBLY PAY CONDOLENCE VISIT TO CAS

The remains of late Flying Officer Tolulope Arotile, the Nigerian Air Force’s (NAF’s) first female combat helicopter pilot, who died on 14 July 2020, will be laid to rest with full military honours at the National Military Cemetery in Abuja on 23 July 2020. Meanwhile, the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, has received some members of the Federal Executive Council as well as members of the National Assembly who visited him at Headquarters NAF at various times yesterday, 16 July 2020, to condole with him over the unfortunate demise of the young NAF pilot. Among them were; the Honourable Minister of Women Affairs, Dame Pauline Tallen, as well as the Honourable Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed. The joint delegation from the upper and lower houses of the National Assembly, comprising 20 members, was led by the Chairman Senate Committee on Air Force, Distinguished Senator Bala Ibn-Na'Allah, and the Chairman House Committee on the Air Force, Honourable Shehu Koko.

Speaking during her visit, the Honourable Minister of Women Affairs, Dame Pauline Tallen, who was accompanied on the visit by the Director-General of the National Council for Women Development as well as leaders of some other Women’s Groups, said she received the news of the death of Flying Officer Arotile with great shock, from which she said it would be difficult for her to recover. She however noted that the death of the young pilot would not be in vain as she would forever be remembered for her gallantry and contributions towards ensuring a secured Nigeria. The Minister prayed that God would comfort the entire NAF family and grant the departed officer’s soul eternal rest. While conveying his condolences, the Minister of Information, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, on his part, prayed that God would grant Flying Officer Arotile’s soul peaceful repose and her family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

The Chairman Senate Committee on Air Force, Senator Bala Ibn-Na'Allah, stated that the Committee, and the Senate as a whole, lacked the words to express how painful her death was to them. He said they were however consoled that there was no greater honour than when one dies while in service to one’s Nation. He described the late Arotile as a dedicated and goal-oriented young woman who lived an exemplary life that was worthy of emulation by other young Nigerians. While reiterating that the Nigerian Senate shares in the pain of the Service as well as that of the Arotile family, he urged the NAF to continue to give opportunities for many young Nigerian girls to realize their dreams of serving their Country as pilots in the NAF.

The Chairman House Committee on the Air Force, Honourable Shehu Koko, on his part, while recalling the day Flying Officer Arotile was winged as the first female combat helicopter pilot in the NAF, noted that they at the House of Representatives, being aware of the many exploits the young officer had made in her short but impactful career, were extremely pained by her passing away but had taken solace in the fact that she had left a lasting legacy. He therefore urged the CAS, and through him, the family of the deceased young officer to be consoled by the good deeds she left behind.

In his response during the visits, the CAS expressed his appreciation to the esteemed dignitaries as well as all Nigerians for their overwhelming show of support to the NAF over the passing of Flying Officer Arotile. He noted that the NAF would never forget her, not only because she was the first female combat helicopter pilot in the Service, but also because of her legacy as a very intelligent, highly committed and extremely patriotic officer who excelled in virtually every endeavour. Air Marshal Abubakar recalled how, while on basic helicopter course in South Africa, she was selected, because of her excellent performance, to undergo a more advanced flying course on the Agusta 109 Power Attack Helicopter in Italy before returning to finish the basic course along with her other colleagues in South Africa. Such, the CAS said, was her commitment to excellence on the job. “This was what gave us confidence to assign her to introduce the Agusta 109 Power Attack Helicopter to the President, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari, during the induction ceremony at the Eagle Square in Abuja on 6 February 2020; which she did excellently”, he added.

Speaking further the CAS noted that Flying Officer Arotile had left her mark in the sands of time which he said proves that when it comes to displaying excellence and adding value to the society, age or gender should not be barriers. He noted that her contributions through combat missions conducted, along with her colleagues, in the fight against armed banditry and other criminal activities in the country would also never be forgotten. He disclosed that the NAF would therefore continue to give equal opportunities to female officers in terms of training, noting that a total of 11 female student pilots were currently undergoing flying training both within and outside Nigeria.

While reiterating the huge loss Flying Officer Arotile’s death was to the NAF, Air Marshal Abubakar noted that the Service would continue to be consoled by the legacy she left behind. He further assured that the NAF, in honour of her memory as well as all those who had paid the supreme price before her, would continue to work assiduously to ensure success in the fight against terrorism, banditry and other security threats for the overall peace and prosperity of a united Nigeria.

Meanwhile, a condolence visit to the Arotile Family in Lokoja by a high-powered delegation, composed of the CAS, Honourable Minister of Women Affairs as well as the Chairmen of the Senate and House Committees on Air Force, has been scheduled to hold on a date before the burial.

I was watching the Ctv news and they reported multiple attacks in Maiduguri, particularly an attack on 33 Artillery Brigade Maiduguri .

When Chad kicked out Boko from thier territory it was rubbished here. But Boko have clearly relocated and it's in our own backyard.

The expected decimation of Boko seems yet to have happened. We can post as many news clips and videos of Boko getting kicked in the head and uprooted.

But it is not translating to what is happening on the ground. Large parts of Borno are not in the control of the state. There is no Propaganda and or spin that can hide the facts.

Why don't we swallow our pride and stop posturing it's apparent that we are struggling to cope.

If Boko can attack for several hours 33 Artillery brigade. That means an all out attack on Maiduguri is no longer unthinkable but being planned.

And for those thinking that when we eventually get those over hyped and over priced A29's, it's game over for Boko. That's DELUSION.

God forbid Boko enter the huge metropolis of Maiduguri. You can't bomb anywhere because there will be too many civilians and they will not be allowed to leave. It will have to be house to house and door to door fighting with troops on the ground. That will be bloody.
BHt attacked 33Artillery brigade and the Shoot out lasted 1 hour cos NAF backed them up. Secondly when the Tucano Comes it's not going to end the war but will be a game changer.when Chad launched Op Boma Anger We didn't rubbish anything we were just oppositing The Over Hyping Maybe cos they Spear headed it.

TASK FORCE OF OPERATION LAFIYA DOLE DESTROYS BOKO HARAM TERRORISTS’ CAMP, NEUTRALIZES SCORES OF FIGHTERS IN MASSIVE AIR STRIKES AT NGWURI GANA IN BORNO STATE

In continuation of the sustained offensive against terrorist elements in the North-East of the Country, the Air Task Force of Operation LAFIYA DOLE yesterday, 15 July 2020, destroyed a Boko Haram Terrorists’ (BHTs’) Camp and neutralized several of their fighters in massive air strikes executed at Ngwuri Gana along the Gulumba Gana – Kumshe axis in the Northern part of Borno State. The operation was carried out on the heels of Human Intelligence reports indicating that the settlement was one of the locations from where the BHTs launch attacks against own troops’ positions and villages around the general area of Kumshe. Aerial surveillance missions also confirmed the heavy presence of a large number of BHTs in the settlement, some of whom were seen slinging their rifles.
The Air Task Force therefore launched coordinated attacks on the various targets within the settlement, employing an enhanced force package of Nigerian Air Force (NAF) fighter jets and helicopter gunships. The attack aircraft took turns in engaging the designated locations within the settlement, scoring devastating hits which led to the destruction of several structures, including the Communication Centres, as well as the neutralization of several terrorists.
The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, commends the Air Task Force for their dedication, dexterity and professionalism. The Defence Headquarters equally urges them to intensify the air offensive against the terrorists and all other criminal elements threatening the peace and security of our beloved country.

NAF LOSES FLYING OFFICER TOLULOPE AROTILE IN ROAD TRAFFIC ACCIDENT IN KADUNA

It is with great sorrow that the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) regretfully announces the unfortunate demise of Flying Officer Tolulope Arotile, who died today, 14 July 2020, as a result of head injuries sustained from a road traffic accident at NAF Base Kaduna.‬ Until her death, ‪Flying Officer Arotile, who was commissioned into the NAF in September 2017 as a member of Nigerian Defence Academy Regular Course 64, was the first ever female combat helicopter pilot in the Service.‬ During her short but impactful stay in the Service, late Arotile, who hails from Iffe in Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State, contributed significantly to the efforts to rid the North Central States of armed bandits and other criminal elements by flying several combat missions under Operation GAMA AIKI in Minna, Niger State.

The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, on behalf officers, airmen, airwomen and civilian staff of the NAF, commiserates with the family of late ‪Flying Officer Arotile‬ over this irreparable loss. We pray that the Almighty God grants her soul eternal rest.

1. In furtherance of the operational mandate to decisively stamp banditry out of North-West zone, troops of Operation HADARIN DAJI have neutralised scores during a daring aggressive clearance operation. On 11 July 2020, following credible intelligence that armed bandits have rustled unconfirmed number of cows around Daki Takwas and Tashar Kuturu in Anka and Talata Mafara LGAs of Zamfara State. Troops tactically deployed to the scene. Contact was made with the armed bandits. The determined troops overwhelmed the recalcitrant bandits with superior fire. During the encounter, scores were neutralised while others escaped with gun shots wounds. Troops successfully recovered 302 rustled cows and 412 sheep. Equally one empty magazine and 5 mobile phones were recovered. Efforts are ongoing to hand over the rustled animals to the owners.

2. In another development, troops rescued 3 kidnapped victims in Isa LGA of Sokoto State. Also 2 other kidnapped victims were rescued by own troops at Yayi village in Sabon Birni LGA of Sokoto State. The victims on interrogation stated that they were kidnapped on 1 June 2020. All the victims have been handed over to the Sokoto State Government.

3. Relatedly on 10 July 2020 while on patrol, troops arrested 5 members of Yan Sakai group and a gun fabricator along Maga- Kyabu-Tadurga village road. Items recovered include one motorcycle, 10 dane guns, one catapult and one knife. Others were one saw,16 plugs, one axe and 3 mobile phones.

1. In continuation of the sustained onslaught against armed bandits and other criminal elements in the North-West and North-Central States of the Country, the Air Component of Operation HADARIN DAJI has attacked another armed bandits’ camp in the Southwestern part of Kwiambana Forest in Zamfara State, neutralizing scores of their fighters. This was achieved through air strikes executed on 10 July 2020 after Human Intelligence (HUMINT) reports and series of Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions established that a group of structures hidden under the dense forest vegetation served as hideouts for suspected Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) elements and fighters under the notorious armed bandit kingpin, Dogo Gede.

2. The Air Component therefore dispatched a force package of Nigerian Air Force (NAF) fighter jets and helicopter gunships to attack the location. The attack aircraft took turns in engaging the target causing damage to some structures in the camp and neutralizing scores of the criminals. Several bandits, who were seen attempting to flee on foot and on about 15 motorcycles, were mopped-up in follow-on attacks by the helicopters. HUMINT sources later revealed that several of the bandits were neutralized and their motorcycles destroyed as a result of the air strikes.

3. The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, commends the Air Component of Operation HADARIN DAJI for their professionalism and urges them to remain resolute in the conduct of air strikes whilst continuing to provide close air support for ongoing ground operations in order to eradicate all armed bandits. Furthermore, the Armed Forces of Nigeria sincerely appreciates the continued support and cooperation of all well-meaning Nigerians, as we keep up the tempo of our operations to defeat all enemies of our Great Nation.
