sacramento1212: Well toks, it's an individual thing. Beauty is subjective and in the eyes of the beholder. There are some ladies out there that have a distinction (A) in beauty and will still achieve all that you have listed.
It's an individual thing. It's only a stupid lady that will allow fading looks enter her head to start acting foolish. And again, just like crackhaus indicated, i also blame some guys that pour fuel into a fading fire. Leave all those beauty in the eye of beholder consolatory talks bikonu...babe wey fine fine the one wey no fine know sey she no fine. .. |
Romance › 10 Reasons Most Ladies With Average Physical Beauty Are Better by Toks2008(op): 3:43pm On Nov 27, 2019 |
The outward beauty of a woman is measured by the degree to which it is aesthetically pleasing or beautiful in terms of sexual attractiveness or desirability. However, every lady is relatively attractive in a very unique way but there is no denying the fact that whilst some ladies are conspicuously attractive, some are just average in standard outward beauty assessment...
Nevertheless, I strongly believe that there are huge benefits for ladies with average physical beauty cos in most cases...
1. Most guys prefer to marry them.
2. They are more emotionally and physically available.
3. They give their men peace of mind cos they are naturally submissive and loyal.
4. Academically they are mostly at the top of their game and rarely get tangled in sex for grades since lecturers don't find them too attractive.
5. One fact no one can dispute is that they make it better in life cos they work extra hard with their brains...little wonder why most of the great achievers are of average beauty.
6. They are more productive cos they don't slay on social media or offline and are less prone to depression over lack of likes over their pics or display of nudity.
7. They usually have very good character and other great qualities the very attractive ladies lack...
8. Cheaper to maintain cos they don't get obsessed with trying to outlook other ladies in looks or spend foolishly on cosmetic enhancement...
9. They have very high self-esteem and confidence in themselves cos they don't have the pressure or fear over their beauty fading away...they have come to understand that "Lookism" is essentially the same as racism or sexism and nothing to do with reality at all So they care less what people think or say about how they look.
10. They are very good in the bedroom act. Whilst most very attractive ladies can be very boring in bed because they don't want to be roughly handled, the ladies with average physical beauty care less and would throw all caution to the wind ... I guess it is a way of making up for not being too hot and this is why many men find them sexually irresistible.
Do you agree with these?
N.B : This is a fun thread so no spoilers biko.

Romance › Re: Not All Women Want Your Money… by Toks2008(m): 3:03pm On Nov 26, 2019 |
binarymachine: The love for the good and expensive life has driven most ladies into wanting everything luxury. They want to live in beautiful mansions in posh areas, they want to ride in nice cars, eat good food, use expensive gadgets, buy expensive dresses and wear expensive make ups and hairs etc. This pushes them to move towards persons who they feel can provide all these and sometimes hurting the ones who can’t. Hence the notion that ladies love money.
However there are ladies out there who do not really care about the financial security a man has to offer. This set of ladies are not limited only to the rich ones but even the broke ones. There are broke expossed girls who are not moved by life and all of its luxuries and flaunting it just to get them to notice you is a deal breaker for them. Yes! they exist. There are ladies who are looking for simplicity, honesty and love. All they want is someone who will show them love and care, shower them with attention and affection and stick with them no matter their flaws.
Everyone loves money and everybody needs money, however, not all ladies you come across are so impressed by cash and luxury. Even if they may desire it, not every lady makes it a deal breaker. Women also need love and affection, attention and quality time. Sometimes a simple compliment or gesture is all that is needed to kick things off. That lady you see around looking all sexy and serious, just say hi and let her know she looks beautiful, tell her the shoes are pretty, offer to get her a pack of pop corn and you might just be surprised how things will roll.
Purge that mentality of “all women love money” and all they want and care for is cash. You will be spending a lot of money on women and attracting the wrong ones. All men love money too, everybody does. We all want the good life and financial security, stop picking on the ladies.
Source: https://flipmemes.com/2019/10/16/not-all-women-want-money/ I totally agree. |
Health › Re: I'm Depressed Over My Height by Toks2008(m): 2:42pm On Nov 26, 2019 |
Adekun33: Am 19yrs old and I am 188cm i.e 6.2ft. I feel so awkward about my height. I feel that am no longer tall but long, for a very long time now i hated everything about my height to the extent I feel very sad and depressed every day.
As a result of that, I've lost confidence in myself and also my self-esteem is nothing to write home about.
This has made me an introvert and I don't socialize.
So pls tall dudes out there, I want to know how you deal with your self esteem and confidence and also how you approach comments about your heights cuz am gradually going insane!!! I guess you are in Naija. When you visit western countries you will have a reverse depression when you realise how short you are. I am 6:2 though at a full age but when I see some really tall guys and even ladies below 18, I just hide my face. |

emorse: This is not to deride you or anything but the bolded makes no sense at all from where I stand. Ambode's friend will call him by his first name (probably Akin). Or even by a very funny nickname. All that formality about first names waters down friendship.
Just before you ask, I was with a group of friends (all married) from way back secondary school and we all called one another by the funniest nicknames we could remember. It was mad fun all through. If you refer to the original content you will see that I clearly pointed out some situations where a married lady can be called by her maiden name. Please read again. |
Family › Re: 13 Awkward Things Married Women Do That Destroy Their Marriage. by Toks2008(op): 2:30pm On Nov 26, 2019 |
Medunah: I don't agree with the maiden name thing, at all!
So when a girl gets married, her old male friends can't refer to her by her maiden name again?? Doesn't make sense!
I would find it very awkward if my male friends start referring to me as sis, madam or whatever just because I got married....
Is it only ladies that cause the problems that destroy the marriage? Cos ur list doesn't refer to the guys too, Not only ladies do all those stuffs, men do them too. I started seeing likes on this thread and I had to read through again and your comment got my attention. Do you know why I focus on the ladies on my threads?... it is simply because they are mostly at the receiving end...if you have issues with this fact then I'm sorry I can't help out. If it is possible for threads to have a second placement on the front page I would gladly love this thread to have another shot cos i wrote it based on personal experience hence very practical. |

Romance › Re: How Do I Move On From My Ex by Toks2008(m): 10:49pm On Nov 22, 2019 |
Queentee214: Hi everyone, Am really confused on what to do right now and I need advice.
I and my ex broke up six months ago...I broke up with him cuz we are always having misunderstandings...not just that..he can't control himself when angry , he always end up insulting me and calling me names but apologize when he is calm.
The last one that led to our break up was when we went to his friend's birthday party..on getting there,,i met an old time friend(a guy) and we talked for few mins .i went back inside where the party was holding and I met my bf angry already,,we end up quarreling there and he called me a prostitute in front of everyone(that wasn't the first time he would embarrass me in public)...
I was hurt and left there...i started ignoring him and the relationship wasn't going well anymore...i broke up with him afterwards ..i love him but I can't accept his flaws ..we tried to get back together but end up blaming each other for everything.
Six months later, I'm in a relationship with another guy..he has his flaws too but not bad... Now the problem is I still love my ex and we still talk and chat almost everyday...
He is the first person I call when I need advice and vice versa..my ex family thinks we are still together and always call to check up on me....this is causing problems in my new relationship....
I decided to cut contact with my ex but he is isn't ready to let me go and neither am i..
Just last week my bf broke up with me and told me to call him when am ready to cut off contact with my ex...
Am really confused and I don't know how to do what he asked me...pls anyone with advice on how to forget someone should help me
I need to forget and move on from my ex ....pls advice... Thanks
Pls no one should come here and start telling me I met a good guy and toying with his feelings..
My ex is also a good guy, he just has his flaws...I just need advice...
Thanks You are indeed very confused. Your case can be likened to someone who is given a bony meat to eat and you complain that it is full of bones so you can't eat it..they asked you to throw it away but you turned around to say it has some meat. Sorry you need to help yourself...all the best. |

Romance › Re: What's Wrong With A Man Under 33? by Toks2008(m): 8:29pm On Nov 22, 2019 |
pocohantas: Nothing is wrong with a man U-33, but I will tell you the advantage of an above 33 man or what most ladies look out for in them (and older men in general)
1. Financial stability: I put this first because it is (one of) the most importantant attraction. If you are old without money, one would wonder what you were doing in your youth.
2. Emotional maturity: The average woman is more emotionally mature than a guy her age. She has to look further to find a balance- MOST times. A guy has all the time to be stupid and if he decides to be stupid for life, there will be a woman for him. Women have to get sense on time, she has a biological clock to watch and most men do not have that fix-it mentality.
3. Older guys are more chilled: Age, experience and more money to their pockets has taught them to take life jeje. They don't get angry unnecessarily over petty issues like younger guys who see everything as a bruise on their fragile egos.
4. They are more caring, maybe fascinated by your juvenile displays. Those things you will do and make the younger guy go all red-pilled, the older guy will tell you sorry, make you carry your wahala dey go. He looks at you at as a child, with that smile on his face.
5. They are most times not scared of looking weak or not in control. Unlike younger guys who seek validation of their fellow younglings, an older guys is a man all by himself. But don't mistake this for stupidity, he is very well watching and calculating.
6. If you really wanna tap into wealth of experience/knowledge, then an older guy is your best bet. They witnessed Abacha's regime with clear eyes, they saw Yakubu miss that goal- he is like your History teacher. Also, his friends will most likely be his age group, some of their gfs would even be older than you- that is if you are really young. Except you are a bimbo, you will be on your toes to upgrade, that way you don't look stupid at their hangouts . I can't say the same thing for younger guys who just sit around and talk about ASUU strike.
7. Oh! Their voice! It gets deeper and subtly assertive as they age. When they talk, they exude this confidence and masculinity. It isn't forced, read off a book or some alfa male code. You just can't miss it.
...etc
There are exceptions, but on the average, there is really no comparison. We get finer with age, all things being equal. This is why i try not to be too close to young ladies even the ones young enough to be daughters to me cos they just fall in love recklessly. Honestly, mature guys in age and psyche are so irresistible..little wonder why many young ladies prefer married men. BTW Poco i no know sey you get sense small like this o. |
