Fulaman198: The world cup is on 3 channels ABC, ESPN and ESPN2 in America
Yes but every news channel talks about it even Fox News, MSNBC, CNN all of them, even BET talks about it, and when the US is playing almost everywhere you go you can 'smell' the World Cup.
Sports › Re: A Hate Speech on Football (Soccer) by an American Lady by toshmann(m): 3:01am On Jun 29, 2014
Guys pls understand that this woman ann coulter does not represent America. She represents the extreme right wing of America's politics, the tea party. This write up is not for the regular human beings. This write up is meant to make her more popular among the tea party people and of course it's also to make her the "center of attraction". She's prolly upset that the World Cup is in every channel either as full games or being talked about one way or the other and she's jealous and is seeking attention. grin
You will do well to ignore her rantings

Rossikk: OH SHUT UP AND USE YOUR BRAIN. Even before any ''bonus wahala'' the foreign commentators had been dissing African teams. You are dumb and naive if you think their attitude has anything to do with 'bonus issues'. Those are topics they simply magnify to bolster their already declared disdain (even hatred) for Africa, as shown in their coverage.
And talking of ESPN, you mustn't watch ESPN. If our lootocrats have sense, they can use all that stolen money to invest in stuff that will help our economy. How much did ibori alone loot? How much will it take to establish a world class network like Al Jazeera or ESPN. If we can have our own then you won't have to watch ESPN and we can have our own analysts who will analyze our own players favorably and we can feel good about ourselves. Period. But our people will not e able to do that, we will rather watch oyibo own then turn around to complain.
Ughhh!!!'

You still don't get it, do you? Let me put it this way;
THEY WILL NEVER LIKE YOU!!!!!!!
Stop expecting them to like you. There is no law that says they must love you, and they have chosen NOT to love you. Get it into your head. They will never regard you as anything great.
ONLY YOU can establish the esteem of the black race. Do your thing and earn their respect. Infact if we get our acts right, we won't give a damn if they respect us, we would be just fine and threads like this will be irrelevant. But bc we can't get ourself in order, we keep looking for their love and respect which won't come. It's been 400yrs since we started interacting with the white race, how far with mutual respect. It will never come while we are still a confused lot. Show me one Black Country that makes sense! Only tiny Botswana seems to have some direction, South Africa has been going down since our brothers mounted the throne there. They see all this and you expect them to respect us. If won't happen my dear, hard painful truth.
Asians are building their countries gradually, Indians are movin forward, Arabs the same as well as some Latin American countries. How far black Africa? A disgrace.
Open your brains and use it if you have any, they won't love you, or respect you, and even when they laugh with you, they're just trying to be polite but they don't like you. Just get it.
Sports › Re: Super Eagles: The Insult Is Beyond Belief by toshmann(m): 8:24pm On Jun 28, 2014
In this 2014 we black people are still complaining over minor issues? shocked

If u don't like their comments, come together, organize and get your own sports channel where Amina Ikenna Edet Olawunmi and Efe et al can become commentators.

The Arabs didn't like the western media, they got Al Jazeera and now the west complains of Al Jazeera. Which one be Africa own.

Me I've stopped complaining far back. See how we embarrased ourselves in this World Cup. First Cameroon players had to fight for their bonuses, then Ghana threatened to miss the last match if bonuses are not paid, I even heard the Super Eagles refused to train for their match against France. Who is holding back the bonuses of these african teams? Money that I heard came from FIFA o. How d'you expect oyibo to respect us with this kind of behavior when even we won't respect others of it were others behaving this way.

Next please

As unpopular as this woman's books are, truth is that she's saying the dang truth.
They'll trash her in the US media. Stereotypes thrive in America (and indeed the whole world) and stereotyping is difficult to eradicate. Nigerians have been stereotyped to be criminal and crooked. But beyond the stereotypes, things are happening. No Nigerian comes to the states just to do menial jobs. They end up going to school, getting a degree and doing professional work.
Many are doing well and those still struggling are going to school.
That's the spirit. CNN won't report it bc it's contrary to the stereotype. But this babe does.

I have lived in the UK, I have studied in the UK and I have worked in the UK.

Today, I live in the US, I have studied in the US and I work in the US.

Let me be clear, it's annoying comparing two racists who is worse, BUT make no mistake, the UK is more racist than the US. Americans are open, if they hate you, they let you know immediately that they hate you.

The UK, they'll drink and dance with you, while they'll do worse behind your back. As a black person you stand a better chance in the US than the UK. Period.

Also in the US, if fear catch you too much you enter shop go collect ya own gun to protect yourself grin

Crime › Re: Soldiers Kill Student At Checkpoint In Katsina. by toshmann(m): 7:33pm On Dec 27, 2013
If an American soldier shoots at a moving vehicle as it drove away in freaking Afghanistan and someone gets killed they know that there will be hell to pay.
'. . . . . . .as it drove away" is very very very different from driving through a checkpoint beating security protocol in the process. . .
i have given evidence of US soldiers shooting and indeed killing civilians who passed through checkpoints. let's not even go near israeli soldiers or russian soldiers.
i think you should talk to a security expert to understand my argument. this is a sad story. someone just died. that is one family changed forever. however, i'm very sure, whomever the soldier is, in the unlikely event that he is taken to court, he will be vindicated. unfortunately someone is dead.
Crime › Re: Soldiers Kill Student At Checkpoint In Katsina. by toshmann(m): 4:17pm On Dec 27, 2013
Gdjay: We Nigerians dont value life. So it is now ok for soldiers to kill innocent unarmed civillians?! Seen. Just for one second think it was your own innocent brother in that bus going for that wedding. This that happened is the same thing as if the soldiers dragged him out of the bus and put a bullet in his head, it is MURDER. Besides, we've only heard the story as the soldiers are telling it, abi na military spokesperson tell us wetin happen.
What if the soldier was your brother? What of your cousin in the army had been killed by terrorist in a car bomb and your brother sees another car breaking checkpoint security. Everywhere in the world, if any one crosses soldiers check point in a territory of security concerns, that is an open invitation to shoot. It is not peculiar with the Nigerian Army.

The driver is to blame, period. If he didnt do that, the soldier wouldn't shoot.

If you jump out from a plane and fall to the ground and die, who is to blame? The guy who jumped from the plane or the force of gravity that pulled him down? The soldiers reaction is like the force of gravity. A natural consequence to an event. The event here being breach of security.

When you breach security you invariably INVITE SHOOTING. Look at this unarmed woman shot for a breach of security at White House and Capitol. This is standard all over the world. Breach security, gun fire follows.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_gOux7w3dSI

Instead of looking for soldiers to blame, better take responsibility and train your loved ones not to breach armed security for any reason.
Crime › Re: Soldiers Kill Student At Checkpoint In Katsina. by toshmann(m):
Crossing a military check point is tantamount to suicide anywhere in the world. Soldiers are human beings. They've seen war, they've seen their friends killed by terrorist who crossed military check points. They don't know who is who. No normal human being will cross their check point, if you cross it then you are not normal, you get liver, you fit dey dangerous, etc

The US military does it too.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y5y68PtqB-E

The driver is to be blamed. For those saying the tires should be shot and not the bus itself. Remember, soldiers are trained to KILL. Not to arrest but to KILL. Na wetin dem sabi. Blame the fed govt for not upgrading our police who are trained to arrest. Police should be the ones handling this crisis, not soldiers.

Finally, don't forget to blame boko haram for creating the terror environment that makes this whole scenario possible

poorest governance in the country, the
power to control the economy even without

not even start talking about beautiful
cheeks because we might not leave here
this morning. Their dialect of Igbo is so
sexy and oh oh many other things. No
wonder my father couldn't look past there
for a very beautiful and humble woman.
Imo state is indeed the heart of Igboland,
with its possession of the majority of the
most beautiful ladies in the country. And
they are very liberal and accomodating. The
people from the other side of the country
who tonguelash them like my brother

for wives, leaving behind what they have in
their place. They sell their lands just to pay
a brideprice and then come to tell us how
accomodating they are

Abia state is just like a carbon copy of
Anambra state, very hardworking and
resilient, and this is the home to several

Enugu state, the capital of the East, with
many white collar destination. This is the
base of the most intellectual and also quite
beautiful faces. The only place that can
make you feel at home, away from home, if
you are an Easterner
Ebonyi state, the food basket of Igboland,
the base of agriculture. Their rice is the
most sought for in the nation. I love their
diversity, their dialect even if its difficult,
they also have many pretty chics, if you

of Nollywood's location sites. Very good

mean, the state that has been keeping
Nigeria alive. What would have been of
Abuja without the spoils they are harvesting
from this state
Let me not go emotional now. This is the
entertainment hub of the East. The state
with the richest set of people in the nation.
Let me remind you that Agbani Derego (not

Make una dey here de fight una selves Igbo Yoruba Hausa xtian Moslem etc de fight una selves, in the real world out there, your real enemy is just sitting down and having a drink while watching you destroy yourselves before the real battle.

This may sounding someone made a mistake but truth is this is how they take Africa and Africans. They may not say it out but this is what is in their heart. And trust me this is what guides some of their decisions in job interviews etc. they feel they are superior and Africans inferior.
Hey, before you get upset, Arabs think the same way too, Indians also think they are superior to blacks, o, Chinese feel superior too. Everyone looks down on blacks and guess what, blacks are busy fighting each other to notice.
