Well thank God you know.
Because on this NL site, everytime they show somebody killing and eating snake meat, we vill be cursing each other as bush people or wicked people.
WHEREAS, it is only done because we haven't got any affordable McDonalds chicken to eat here

Put cheap chicken MacDonalds around Nigeria and nobody will give a damn about snake meat again just like in other nations.

Nigeria is a cesspool of corruption!
Are you not the one giving them the bribe?
They said stay at home. Did they come to your house to collect the bribe?
You carried yourself OUTSIDE your house and went to meet them AND GIVE THEM BRIBE.
If you like tour round Nigeria and give all of them bribe. You will only catch and spread this virus faster to more people.
DON'T complain later when you catch the disease

I traveled from Ibadan to Lagos on Friday and came back to Ibadan on Saturday morning.

The travel lockdown is a scam. Many checkpoints on the road but the commercial drivers knows their way out. They pay N200 per checkpoints and N500 to the federal highway police checkpoint at Guru maharaji junction.

We were dropped off at Kara, and i entered a bike to Berger, from Berger, another bike to Ojota before taking a bike of N1000 to Yaba, which was my final destination.

The lockdown is more of a business venture between the Okada riders, transporters and security agents
You were told to stay in one place to prevent the spread of virus. You're travelling about paying transporters, bike riders and security.
When they collect your money, you then accuse them of doing business.
Are you expecting them to start beating you with stick before you will know that lockdown is serious?

If you catch this virus or spread it to others, don't later come back and say that it was because security didn't do their work O!

Sh0lar:
I think it is not correct to say Nigeria have tested just 5,000 people only. The record is just not updated. If you have been following the record closely you will notice that we have been complaining that it is just 5,000 people tested since 3 to 4 days now.
What about people tested on Friday, Saturday and today? How come the 5000 has not increased.....
Or are we saying they have suspended testing and they are just giving us report of those tested previously.......
Nigerians like to read report and paper and do nothing about its authenticity
So that's what they are doing for us.
Writing any good looking number on paper and presenting it to us to look.

HealthRe: 5 New Cases Of Coronavirus In Nigeria. Total 323 . 85 discharged. 10 deaths by uuzba(m): 10:55pm On Apr 12, 2020
Asiri1991:
My problem is not the low number of cases recorded but the insignificant number of person tested. A look at the statistics in worldometer shows that Nigeria has one of the lowest numbers tested per million population. Nigeria stands at 24 per one million; an insignificant figure compared to tests carried out in our sister countries: Ghana, Ivory Coast, Senegal, etc. Presently, the statistics shows that Nigeria has only carried out an estimated five thousand tests since the outbreak of the pandemic. One won't be wrong to conclude that the low figures we get everyday is as a result of the minimal tests conducted daily. I am afraid we might be at the peak of the pandemic presently without knowing it.
Now you are thinking
Nigerians have been so stupid to practice so many wrong things. This thing started in university where the student say, "let me just write what the lecturer wants to read so I can pass and go"
Ok continue.
Now see it.
NCDC is JUST writing what we like to read "LOW NUMBERS OF CASES" so we can be happy.
The reality is much different.
Our foolish habits have come back to finish us.

Slowly but surely.. This lockdown should end this week or else...people will defy government.. How many people dem wọn catch?.. We are watching and waiting!!
You are free to defy government.
Just remember that, when you move out, you will catch the virus from somebody. When police catches you, you will spread it to the police. When hey lock you in prison, you will spread it to the other prisoners.
The police that caught you will carry the virus home and spread it to his wife and kids. The other prisoners that they release from prison before you will carry the virus and spread to their own friends, wife and kids.
All because of you..

And all these cases will be UNCONFIRMED.
Small-small the thing will spread round Nigeria.
NCDC will still be here drawing graphs every day, telling us, Total confirmed is JUST 300, whereas the whole Nigeria will be on fire..

This is why is so important to revive our manufacturing industries. Keep our youth employed.
Now unemployed youth have all turned to area boys with muscle and are robbing everyone.

What is the point of having your home stocked up with made in China TV, fridge, phone, when area boys will just come and Rob one of everything? No more security. Boko haram people are just tired of life, no future. They just throw bomb everywhere.

If all were employed in manufacturing industry, they won't have been behaving like this.

We are very foolish in this country. Our inability to be united has always been our doom.

Imagine the federal government and Nigeria medical association (NMA) who are suppose to be on the same page at a time like this are now playing Tom & Jerry
So now that you know our weakness, what is your solution?

We cannot be speaking English and doing democracy and at the same time practicing tradition and obeying village elders. One cannot have 2 masters.
It is either we break apart and each tribe is ruled by its elders or we banish every tradition, traditional practice, traditional rulers (as western nations ) and stick with democratic rulers.

See this video of a governor yabbing elders.

One thing is certain, people must eat to stay alive.
And you may catch the virus from them whilst you are looking for the food.

So you can either die of virus (and kill others as well)
OR
Die of hunger alone.
We can only cover nose, wash hands, keep space and DON'T catch virus.

Many people need provisions
I don't understand why after have Nigerians run overseas for a better life their pomposity and ego will not allow them to stay there and mind their business.

They will start looking for ALL SOCIAL MEDIA outlets to SHOW Nigerians back home that they are better than us.

What does this useless story from the OP do for people back home here who are simply looking for money for provisions? Others are begging with their bank account?

I propose that anybody who is overseas, out of Nigeria, should be banned from any Nigerian website.
If you cannot offer assistance to any Nigerian back home, get lost with your American Lockdown we don't need it

The guy is a weakling.
Didnt you see the part in his silly write up where he insinuated successful Nigerians in the US should be apologetic to worthless black Americans for being successful?
He also wants Nigerian men to treat their cunty, arrogant female counterparts like qeens when those same women treat Nigerian men like poo both at home and abroad
I spoke to my friend in US. He's married to a Nigerian paper girl. So he's a citizen like her.
Regardless, guy still said he will return to Nigeria, go to his village and build house because his children must know where they come from.

Do you know that ALL THE BLACK PEOPLE and ALL THE WHITE PEOPLE in America, cannot do this? They know they are strangers to America but they cannot trace their village. So they just live anywhere they like in the whole America.

Do you know how jealous they are of you when they discover you have a place called HOME that you can return to? And they don't have?

That's why they drink and Fu*k and behave anyhow they like.
